Reviews for Hostellerie Le Baou
Review 1:Just the price. Very expensive! Breakfast should be included for the cost.
Review 2:Superb location, near wonderful village and close to best beach in the world.
Review 3:No bad experience...perhaps lucky with being able to find space to park outside the hotel throughout my stay but the area does get very busy. I think they have their own parking somewhere nearby though but I never used this service.
Review 4:Everything really. Staff very friendly, good food in the restaurant at night as well as breakfast. Very nice pool.easy short walk into the charming old village.
Review 5:The value of breakfast is high ! Need to pay euro25 each person for the food that you can take and choose freely, actually there are not so many food you can choose.

Review 9:No plug socket in the bathroom

Review 11:Expensive For what it is
Review 12:We had an internet problem and felt we were treated in an off-hand manner by the female reception manager. The bedrooms are dated and need modernising. Without this - the rooms are too expensive.
Review 13:Most of the staff were very good - Claude, Batiste, Ocean, Valerie, Justin - and the other waiters and room staff were excellent, very courteous and helpful.
Review 14:We spent 2 weeks in this hotel during July 2013. We knew it was an old and expensive hotel, but this is the Cote d'Azur...The rooms are indeed old and ugly. And they're not being cleaned well. The bird mess that was on the terrace table at our arrival was still there when we left, just to give an example. The fridge didn't work well, the bed sheets were already old-fashioned in the 80's, just like the rest of the furniture and what a horrendous carpet! The doors were a disaster. The front door was very hard to open and the inner fire door looks more like a cantina door. It's heavy and dangerous! Then the breakfast. For 25€ uou get sour juice (be sure not to drink it!), "sundried" cheese, wet scrambled eggs and the coffee will definitely stay on your stomach for the rest of the day. We were not courageous enough to try the meat. The personel tried very to do their best, except for one lady at the front desk. We almost didn't see any other guests. One of the last days there was no more hot water in the bathroom. We complained about this and they proposed to give us the key of another room so that we could take a shower there. There was a technical issue with the water pomp, that would be fixed the next day. The next day we got back to the hotel after spending a day at the beach. We wanted to get ready to spend our last evening in St Tropez. Unfortunately there was still no hot water! Again, it would be fixed the next day. The lady at the front desk (manager?) didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. We were pretty upset! We had 2 rooms, for which we paid a total of 750€ a night, but no hot water! We had also complained about the wifi, because it only worked from time to time, but never on the laptop or the ipad. We proposed that we wouldn't pay for the last night, as a compensation for the inconveniences. The lady from the front desk then threatened to call the police. Unbelievable!
Review 15:Location
Review 16:It isn't worth paying extra for the room with terrace as it is the same size as the room with balcony. Small bathroom. Annoying fire safety door makes the room feel smaller. The fitted carpet needs to be changed as its colour and design let the place down
Review 17:Great view from the Bedroom and good size swimming poolvwuth attractive surrounds
Review 18:expensive for the quality of room
Review 19:pool aircon restaurant
