Review 4：This is 5 star accommodation in a great location for exploring North Yorkshire. We had a friendly warm welcome and were delighted with the beautiful rooms which had everything we needed. The rooms were classy, sophisticated, spacious, private and quiet. The pub grub (evening menu) was also superb, a very high standard and excellent service. The breakfasts were equally fantastic, tasty and good portions which set us up for the day. Great value for money and we highly recommend staying here. We will return! Thanks for a great stay!
Review 5：it is a great hotel , lovely staff very friendly , but we had been travelling since before lunch and arrived after 2 30 pm , we asked if we could have a sandwich but the chef had gone home , does it really need a chef to make a sandwich , only downside though

Review 18：It's a shame ther is no check-in between 3 & 5:30 as I arrived artound 3:30. There isn't a great deal to do to kill 2 hours in the area on a rainy day.

Very spacious room, wonderfully (very recently) decorated with lovely furniture and very comfortable bed! Great food too, from lunch, dinner and breakfast. Will definitely be back - may even try to find an excuse to be in the area just to be able to stay again.

Review 25：We needed a bit of "time out" from our busy lives, and this break was ideal. We visit the Bedale/Masham area regularly but this was the first time we stayed. Only one word to sum up the stay "excellent" on all counts. The room, the hosts, the food and the beer !!

Review 31：The owners were really friendly and helpful. The room in a small annex, was large, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. All of the furnishings were brand new. The bed, king size and so comfortable. Good free wifi connection. Breakfast is spot on. The pub itself is a great place to spend your evenings enjoying the good food and drinks on offer. Would recommend The Woodman Inn to everyone for a short stay.
Review 32：The room was spacious and recently refurbished with all new fittings. The pub was warm, welcoming with good beer and food (and I was there on folk club night!!). Convenient for the A1, if thats what you need.
