Reviews for La Burlière
Review 1:No bad experiences, this place is a little hard to find (even with a GPS) and the Breakfast could have been a bit more than what was offered.
Review 2:Nice location! Our room was spacious and spotless. There was a great room where we could watch TV and enjoy snacks which we did. Large outdoor pool and courtyard.
Review 3:The bathroom floor used to get wet after using the shower, nothing very important, it´s just a detail, but I think it would be nice to take care of this.
Review 4:The property used to be a farm in the past, and it´s a stunning place, very beautiful and charming. The room was confortable, clean, quiet and spacious. Our host, Mr. Luc, was very kind and helpful, he gave us maps of the region and tips on things to do.
Review 5:Beautiful little guest house just outside Gordes with a very friendly owner that went out of her way to assist us. She came to fetch us at the tourist office as there were no available taxis- we appreciated that so much as it was 35 degrees. Kitchen available.
Review 6:Everything was fine, just the tiny details. Wifi is poor in the rooms. And the breakfast is very basic - only bakery and jam with coffeе. It was free, so I am not complaning, but I would be very glad if it had had yogurts as well.
Review 7:The design of the hotel is superb. Everything was nice Especcially the tables in the garden, where we spent our evenings with wine and snacks - we loved it! The rooms are clean, spacy and very comfortable. The swimming pool is clean and quite.
Review 8:The wifi was either very slow or didn't work at all.
Review 9:The breakfast with all the different jams was delicious, the property is beautiful and it's an excellent location.
Review 10:pity that the system is allowing us to give only 10 points!! Simply saying fabulous!!! I do not understand how someone can give negative point ..that "it has no kettle in the room" because outside is a beautiful "living room for guests" with kettle, TV, sofa etc .. Someone wrote "wifi is not in room" yes, but wifi is in the whole area (for example on your balcony). The breakfast was delicious!!!! You could smell croasants directly to room in the morning. Yammy!!!! Its wonderful place to relax!!!!
Review 11:Set in the quiet countryside near Gords and a nuber of other medieval towns Burliere is in an opd fortified house. The door leading to our room first brought you onto our patio. The door is very short and you go up steps to enter. You would have a great advantage over enemies from if you were inside the patio. I could go on but there were too many fetures to mention here. You just nred to go there yourself.
Review 12:The bed dipped in the middle and only European sized pillows to sleep on. Towels were not replaced with clean ones in 3 nights we stayed.
Review 13:Great breakfast in a lovely outdoor setting. Good facilities for self catering. The local supermarket sells delicious food in their deli section which can be heated in the microwave.
Review 14:Wi-Fi did not work in our room, only in the common areas.
Review 15:Very nice site with a great pool. Our room was spacious and very private, The common areas are well designed and the garden is lovely. The breakfast includes pastries, fresh fruit smoothy and a large selection of local honeys and jams. The host, native from this region provided great info to make our cycling trip even more enjoyable.
Review 16:WiFi did not work for a couple of days. Breakfast was good but could be better by including fruit and yoghurt.
Review 17:Size of room. Nice bathroom. Internal courtyard. Pool. Boules. Luc is a friendly and helpful host. Proximity to other villages.
Review 18:Close to the road so you could hear traffic. Breakfast lacked protein, eggs would have Ben nice.
Review 19:Friendly staff, very comfortable room, convenient location, great local restaurant, cycling in the countryside with the free bikes, jam for breakfast.
Review 20:We love our room which has its own private terrace. Breakfast was memorable, with a range of jams! There is a large room with glass walls on the ground floor, there are the TV, entertainment, books and a small kitchen corner with kettle and microwave for use by guests.
Review 21:Absolutely stunning old farmhouse picture perfect. Owners were awesome and the breakfast lovely especially the selection of jams and honeys with the bakers basket breakfast
Review 22:Nothing!
Review 23:This is a beautiful place to stay in the Gordes area. It is located below the village on a beautiful property. Our room was extremely comfortable, roomy and quiet. The bathroom was very large by European standards and was equipped with lots of towels, body wash and a hair dryer. We really enjoyed the common room which is shared by all of the guests. There are several couches, a TV, many travel and information books to look at and a well equipped kitchen where we enjoyed several meals we prepared. Breakfast each morning was delicious with many varieties of jams and honey to eat with the lovely selection of breads and croissants. Luc, the owner, was so helpful and always the gracious host. We highly recommend this property to anyone touring the Luberon Valley as it is so close to all of the beautiful villages.
Review 24:Backs onto main road No outlook Listed as Gordes, but actually it is closer to Les Imbart - but staying in Gordes would not be better
Review 25:Borrowing bikes to cycle Nice grounds Definitely pay extra for the courtyard - gives more privacy
Review 26:Traditional French decor Great breakfast in historic surroundings Separate guest lounge room with microwave oven and tea and coffee making facilities
Review 27:It was nearly impossible to find. There isn't an address for the GPS. When we finally found someone who knew where it was, we found there was no signage that could be seen from the road. We were almost a no show for our reservation. Once booked, the owners should email explicit directions.
Review 28:Very unique B&B with a typical French breakfast of bread and croissants.
Review 29:Missing a place to put the luggage in the room
Review 30:the place is charming. there is an inside court with tables to relax or talk with others. Very nice restoration of the mas by the owner
Review 31:Breakfast was delicious but sparse. Cereal yoghurt and fruit would havebeen nice even if costing a few extra euros
Review 32:Beautiful idyllic property Clean and comfortable Restaurant inwalking distance
Review 33:The location is a short drive from Gordes. We were pleasantly surprised that our room had a small air conditioner. The parking on the property had a coded gate that was closed in the evenings. Breakfast was lovely!
Review 34:The wifi was extremely problematic, but didn't really care that much given the lovely relaxing setting. Some savoury selection for breakfast would have been perfect (ham/cheese??).
Review 35:great setting and exactly what you might expect of Provence region. Loved the pool. The building is beautifully maintained and some great attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious and great quality produce but maybe a bit lacking in variety for some people (selection of yummy breads and pastries with wide choice of jams and honeys).

Review 48:Luc& Anne, the owners were so hospitable &kind , it was our home away from home, especially the petite dejuner every morning!
Review 49:The place is wonderful, situated in the middle of one of the most beautiful regions in France. You can feel the Provence there!
Review 50:When Hotel owner is left, the Wifi is closed. By the side of the main road, A little difficult to find to the hotel, esp. at night.
Review 51:Comfortable bed.
