Review 23:Stephanie & Simon were very welcoming. The room was large & the beds were comfortable. The bathroom facilities were very good & the breakfast was superb. It is a beautiful village and a great place to commencing exploring Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. I am struggling to think of anything negative to say. We really enjoyed our stay.

Review 24:Such a lovely welcome from Simon & Stephanie. The room was so luxurious, the most comfortable beds!! Beautiful en suite bathroom! Little things like tea/coffee etc in the room, homemade biscuits, fresh milk in the fridge & toiletries in the bathroom! Food was 10/10. Anything you wanted was there ready! Great location in the middle of everything in Callander, with a tesco express right next door!

Review 25:Nothing!

Review 28:The location was nice and had on site parking. The owners were very friendly and helpful with dinner reservations. Breakfast was the best! The breakfast menu included french toast! Such a nice change of pace.

Review 29:We stayed in the newly refurbished suite with gorgeous views and a separate lounge. The stay was excellent value for money; the breakfast was delicious (I highly recommend the Full Scottish!), there were loads of really nice home-made touches (including a visit from the Easter Bunny!) and an exceedingly comfortable bed. Needless to say, Stephanie & Simon were great hosts. We would definitely stay here again - highly recommended!

Review 30:There is nothing to dislike! One of the best b&bs I've stayed in (and there's been a few).

Review 31:Warm and friendly welcome (particularly from the 2 lovely dogs) Beautiful, spotless clean room with extremely comfortable beds, delicious shortbread and a lovely view. Huge modern bathroom with separate bath and shower. Great breakfast choices served in a tasteful dining room.

Review 32:Westcot is a lovely place to stay thanks to how it's run, the modern and comfortable interior and the views! Would highly recommend and will definitely return on our next visit to Callander!

Review 33:Fantastic value for money , the standard of the rooms are superb the breakfast is plentiful and first class but the real stars of the show are the young couple who run the place and their lovely dogs Alfie and Ted , will stay again and have informed all my friends about this amazing place.

Review 34:Nothing to dislike!

Review 35:Lovely spot - all facilities with thoughtful extras. Excellent breakfast - home made produce and good comfortable feel to our stay. Ideal for our short stay visiting family party but would be excellent for longer stay with lots to see and do in area of outstanding beauty. Very good value for money

Review 36:The shower was no good but there is likely a quick fix for this. The bed was also not the greatest but these are small things of a very lovely stay. The people make all the difference.

Review 37:Stephanie and Simon were a delight. Excellent hosts. Fantastic breakfast and very warm cosy welcoming environment. A perfect b&b experience!

Review 41:We are spoilt we have a super king size bed at home witch takes some beating so maybe long term better beds.

Review 42:Home from home well positioned spotlessly clean lovely couple.

Review 43:Everything , As a couple we booked the the family room which had views over the meadows and mountains. The breackfast was good with plenty to chose from . Location 2 minutes from town. Like a lot of the B&B's they are on the main road, but did not bother me. Yes Good. Would return.

Review 44:Excellent location, owners, Stephanie and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Very comfortable, the added extra touches were very welcome. Breakfasts were fantastic. Look forward to our next visit.

Review 45:Loved this B&B and would definitely recommend. It was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owner was sweet and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer. Don't hesitate to book this B&B if it is available.

Review 46:Like many small places, one had to carry the suitcases few floors up but this is expected and not that bad.

Review 47:First of all, the village is nice. We stayed one night after visiting the falls. hospitality was excellent and so was the breakfast. Location within the village was very good - Tesco one block away, the meadows - just accross, restaurants - 5-10 min walk.

Review 48:We did a 11 day roundtrip and stayed at different B&B as well as Guesthouses and Hotels... long story short. This was one of the best on our trip!

Review 49:Stayed here last week as a base to watch the rydercup & having booked late we were all pleasantly surprised. Beautiful guesthouse. Rooms were clean & very well presented. Nice lobby downstairs. Great Breakfast with plenty of home made products. All three of us would like to thanks Stephanie & Simon for looking after us. They couldnt do enough for us during our stay. The packed breakfast they made for our 5am start was a really nice touch. Thanks again, Ian,Mike & David

Review 50:Our room was the smallest room in the property, with just enough room for two people

Review 51:The B&B was ideally located in Callander and our room was clean and comfortable. The owners (Stephanie and Simon) were very friendly and helpful and there was an excellent choice of items for breakfast that was well cooked and presented.

Review 52:Nothing at all.

Review 53:Westcot Guest House is certainly the best guest house we have stayed in. Stephanie is so lovely and very friendly and her dog, Alfie, is gorgeous! We had the twin room with two king size beds and it was absolute luxury, spotlessly clean with lots of extras in the bathroom including ear plugs. It was like home from home. We certainly recommend Westcot as a must stay accommodation and Stephanie's home made marmalade is delicious! Many thanks for a lovely few days.

Review 54:Nothing. Callander was one of our best stops.

Review 55:The warm greeting by Sam and meeting Stephanie the next day as well. The breakfast was lovely( and thanks for the veggie hagis Stephanie and the room very comfy- felt like home.

Review 56:Nothing

Review 57:We could not fault our stay at Westcot, loved everything about it. Stephanie was a lovely, knowledgeable young lady who would do anything to help or advise. Tasty big breakfast to set you up for the day. Stephanie also had personal touches which made it extra special.

Review 58:parking a bit narrow; bathroom a bit small;

Review 59:good tips for resto in Callander given by host; friendly service and a good breakfast in the morning; very near the town at walking distance

Review 60:I could not fault this Guest house and will stay again definitely.

Review 61:On arrival we particularly liked the friendly and informative Reception from the owner/proprietress of Wescot guest house. This is a an extremely classy B and B, both room and remainder of house, especially when considering the Budget price. This was further reinforced by the excellent breakfast which being a seasoned traveller I felt may have been equalled for choice and quality elsewhere but not beaten. A great start to each of the days of our stay.

Review 62:Very welcoming lady. Most of all, we appreciated that what'savailable for breakfast is written on a black board: easier to chooseand to know what we can have. It should be an exemple to be followedby other B&Bs and GHs. Everything is so sweet at the Wescot,it's a dream!

Review 63:We stayed our first night in Scotland at Westcot and felt so fortunate to have Stephanie as our host. We arrived very late due to travel problems, but she was able to wait for us. Our room was large, with a comfortable bed, chairs to relax in and a large bath. The next morning our breakfast was excellent and Stephanie was flexible on what time we ate breakfast and gave us a few extra minutes to check out due to our late arrival. Frankly, we hated to leave.

Review 64:Absolutely everything! so many little touches that would not be out of place in a top hotel. Great location, shops, pubs/restaurants, trains, buses. Stephanie the owner is an excellent host, happy friendly and obliging, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast, totally spoilt for choice, never have I experienced this in many a hotellet alone a B&B. We loved it so much I want to live there along with Alfie the puppy.

Review 65:Its being American that makes everything in the UK seem so small and cramped. Ah well no matter. I love my decaf coffee with 1/2 and 1/2 in the morning but half and half is no where to be found in Scotland. I dont care for the instant coffee granules provided in rooms. I missed the little coffee brewing machines offered in US hotels.

Review 66:I expect it is just the difference in costs between the USA and Scotland but $166 for 3 of us to stay one night in a bedroom with 2 beds seems so expensive. But, it seemed to be reasonable for the area. The owners were lovely people and the place was clean, convenient and free parking with a grocer right next door and restaurants and shopping in walking distance. very nice.

Review 67:We were only one night at this wonderful B&B. Our family of four had a very large room, clean, attractive and comfortable. We loved the large bathroom which has a great soaker tub and separate shower. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. My husband and son had the full Scottish and thoroughly enjoyed it. Stephanie and Simon were excellent hosts; very friendly and helpful. They gave us great advice on places to eat and visit. We had picked Callander as a good location to stop on our way west through the Trossachs; but the town surpassed expectations. If we ever do this trip again, we'd spend more time in this area. And would definitely stay at Westcott Guest House again.

Review 68:The staff was so friendly, that we were almost sad to leave them! They welcomed us with a big smile on their faces even though we checked in very late in the evening. We had the best breakfast! I really recommend this place!

Review 69:Absolutely nothing TO dislike, except perhaps having to leave this lovely place !!

Review 70:My wife & I, along with two friends from Australia, on their very first visit to Scotland, stayed at this lovely guesthouse in the beautiful town of Callander for two nights, 30th June & 1st of July. We have stayed in hotels & guest houses in many different locations, but we were not prepared for Westcot!! This is must be one of the most well presented holiday accommodations in the whole of Central Scotland/Stirlingshire, our friends had booked a double ensuite room, whilst my wife & I had opted for a double room with separate private bathroom, as Stephanie, the owner, had a cancellation, my wife & I were immediately offered an upgrade to a fantastic ensuite double, at no extra cost !! To say that Stephanie & her husband had thought of everything in order to offer guests the ultimate in comfort, is a gross understatement. A choice of breakfasts is available, all of which are very well cooked & presented in the delightful dining/sitting room, the bed-rooms themselves give an insight to this young couples idea of how a guesthouse should be presented, with every possible commodity provided. We would not hesitate in recommending this lovely place to any & all travellers who like cleanliness, comfort, good food, & the usual fantastic Scottish hospitality.
