Reviews for Berkeley Park Apartments By BridgeStreet

Review 1:No lifts.

Review 2:The apartment was awesome! It was like love at first sight. Everything was in perfect condition too. location to airport was so near, even though its near the runway but you can hear nothing. The Staffs was nice too. Great stay!

Review 3:No housekeeping during entire stay. However, toiletries, sheets and towels available on request.

Review 4:Comfort, convenient, with ample parking and accessible public transport, privacy

Review 5:The dishwasher smelt of fish because the filter had not been cleaned and there was a red and blue medicine tablet lying on our bed.The first night the people beneath us were very noisy and did not stop till 4.00 am

Review 6:It was nice to stay in a one bedroom apartment rather than a hotel room. We liked being able to cook for ourselves and do our laundry

Review 7:Great place to stay near Heathrow. The apartments are comfortable, well appointed and have a washer/dryer as well as parking on site. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Review 8:The direction given on website were bad ended up 3 miles away, until mydaughter announced she had a sat nav on phone .

Review 9:Was close to airport, receptionist was extremely polite andhelpful, property was clean comfortable and wellequipped, definitely recommend

Review 10:No lifts, no staff to help with luggage, no curtains or floor mats in the bathrooms, no briefing on the use of the electrical appliances, don't expect cleaning on weekends.. the towels were not replaced

Review 11:I could hear the person in the room next door, coughing and the TV. Soundproofing is definitely limited in these apartments.

Review 12:Clean and convenient. There is a frequent bus route (240 & 90) passing by the main street that connects Heathrow Airport Bus Terminal with Hayes & Harlington Railway station.

Review 13:Very convenient to airport. Spacious and clean. Welcoming and friendly staff. Much more convenient and comfortable than hotel room. Washing machine comes in very handy when travelling too. Easy taxi ride to terminal.

Review 14:maybe more shuttle services between airport and the facility.

Review 15:Liz, the receptionist had been very helpful in assisting us and provided us a lot of advices such as where to eat nearby and watched out for our luggage after we checked out for several hours.

Review 16:Despite proximity to airport, it was remarkably quiet in the apartment, The apartment was clean, comfortable and the facilities were everything that we could want

Review 17:Room little bit dirty on the floor, little bit of mold in the bathroom. The shower was very weak, not strong enough to wash my hair, just a very thin stream of water.

Review 18:The location is great for those who need to stay close to the airport. The area is nice, quiet. Nice reception + good receptionist, welcome was warm - good feeling. I liked having a kitchen and fridge, in comparison to a hotel room. And having fresh air from 2 windows. The view from the window nice, trees.

Review 19:Charging £10 per night for car parking is a really annoying rip-off.

Review 20:Excellent location for Heathrow. Neat, tidy, well-equipped apartment. Efficient, friendly, welcoming staff.

Review 21:Room TV didn't work Cleaner left door open prior to our arrival Tele in living room was fuzzy Massive spider in kitchen lol

Review 22:Amazing value for money

Review 23:I was asked to leave a deposit of £300 cash or £200 to be held on my card. It wasn't clear when I made the booking. I also didn't expect a photocopy of my passport to be taken and again this wasn't clear at the time of booking.

Review 24:Excellent, bespoke and creative use of space.. very clean with every conceivable need catered for!

Review 25:The area is basic residential

Review 26:The interior of the apartment was excellent, just the entrance lobby looked somewhat tired. The office is manned 24 hrs for calling early taxis to airport, and recommended a good pub/restaurant nearby.

Review 27:dont know if they have room service for times one is too tired to get something to eat.

Review 28:all my needs were met......close to the airport. very accessible. nice quite location for a restful stay.

Review 29:The Venetian blind rotating wands were missing from most of the blinds and the blown light bulb in the main bedroom.

Review 30:Very helpful and professional staff.

Review 31:There's is a lot of stairs for travelers with suitcases. When we book again we will request an apartment on a lower floor

Review 32:Booking queries were dealt with very efficiently and reception staff very helpful. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It was perfect for us as we struggle to find hotel accommodation that has a separate sleeping space for our 10 year old child.

Review 33:Decor is a bit tired and would benefit from a refresh of paint. Small things like patches of moudy dark silicone round the edge of the bath and discoloured skirting boards make it feel less than premium.

Review 34:Handy location for the motorway.

Review 35:Everything was ok

Review 36:Good place to stay if you are flying out of Heathrow, plenty of room to park car and rooms are reasonable size. Also close to Windsor castle if you want to get in a visit before flying out

Review 37:wifi was useless. It took several minutes to connect, a long time to log onto websites and often disconnected while loging on. Eventually used my phone as a hotspot to log on from.

Review 38:Proximity to Heathrow - to pick up incoming passenger - yet only a short walk from the 'almost village' up the road. Close to bus routes. Self-catering was good, although could have beneiftted from an oven as well as hotplates.

Review 39:Wifi did not work well at all. Toilet seat was quite loose. No counter space in bathroom.

Review 40:Close to Heathrow. Has security gate. Staff are nice. Quaint view of field out window. Bed and pillows were great.

Review 41:Bed too hard. Neither of us slept well. Kitchen badly designed. Microwave on the floor - no instructions, could not work out how to use and wasted food. No grill! Cupboards on Kitchenette were faulty and kept closing while in use - very annoying. Bathroom too dark. Fridge did not work well ( the larder was not cold enough) and no controls. Staff not overly friendly. A smile would not go amiss.

Review 42:Convenience/Parking/Safety

Review 43:Spacious and clean apartment with friendly staff. We arrived at 9am and the staff were very helpful in enabling us to occupy the apartment before the official check-in time. Would definitely stay there again.

Review 44:kettle descaler left in kettle and didn't realise until drinking tea. staff apologised nicely with this rare incident.

Review 45:So quiet in the room when windows closed yet 300 metres from runway at LHR and super easy access to car rental. Space. Safe parking. Very helpful staff.

Review 46:Arrived earlier than expected. Receptionist went out of her way to find an apartment that was ready. she then re adjusted her paperwork to accommodate us. greatly appreciated

Review 47:This was an excellent apartment with alounge separate from the bedroom and kitchen, at this price I expected open plan. With flights stopping at 11.30 pm and starting at 7am we could sleep with the windows open and got a good night sleep even on a hot night, A big plus for me was having a top sheet on the bed. This is an ideal solution when you have 3 or 4 adults as uch cheaper than getting two hotel rooms. Gated parking and apartment was also very secure

Review 48:Several items such as the shower, toilet flush and the safe were not working. However, the staff was prompt to fix the safe and arrange us to use the toilet in an apartment next to ours. Though it was a bit inconvenient but for a night it was OK. When we came back the second day, all were fixed.

Review 49:It is close to the airport and price is reasonable comparing to the hotels nearby which are smaller and yet a lot more expensive.

Review 50:One of the electric hobs on stove wasn't working.

Review 51:Geeat rooms for is both to relax after a long days shopping. Kitchen was big with great facilities.

Review 52:Actually we had 2 bad experiences. First, we could not get the goofy water straight on the shower (every place we stayed was different) then, the couch bed was pulled out, but not made up. I had to make the bed before sleeping. Curtains were too thin. Child screaming (literally!)

Review 53:I thought the location was very good. Right next to Heathrow Airport so we were able to catch our plane in the morning. It was like staying at someone's house. The kitchen was great. Short walk to the grocery store for supplies.

Review 54:The kitchen could perhaps have had a little more in it, just two elements make it quite difficult to cook a meal.

Review 55:The staff were fantastic - the info they provided re getting to and from the city was most helpful. The apartment was roomy and the location was very handy. The building had good security as well.

Review 56:There was no spatula, fish slice so we were unable to cook a meal. We could not get the heaters to work in the rooms

Review 57:The receptionist changed rooms for us as the sofa bed would not go down so we were unable to use it.

Review 58:Not a bad word to say!

Review 59:The facilities and the staff were excellent. Would definitely stay here rather than any hotel in heathrow! Very satisfied with the service and facilities! Would recommend to everyone reading this message!

Review 60:It was two single beds, which should have been a double bed. Also, they were not very comfortable to lie down.

Review 61:Accessibility, Facilities and cleanliness. Very comfortable for families.

Review 62:Comfortable bed, great kitchen, triple glazing so very quiet, secure parking, easy walk to bus stop for train to city. Good price, friendly staff, easy online booking.

Review 63:No vending machines with cold drinks or snacks although a small list (very limited) of items could be purchased from the reception

Review 64:Convenient for Heathrow airport as we arrived at 11pm and just wanted to have somewhere comfortable with two separate sleeping areas before moving on to Pirbright by car early next morning.

Review 65:Terrible Sofa bed, have one from IKEA at home that is much better than the one in hotel. Apartment not properly equipped - not enough towels, kitchen not properly equipped

Review 66:Clean

Review 67:- costs £10 per day to park

Review 68:- good wifi - efficient check in and check out - clean, smart studio apartment - excellent soundproofing - plenty of parking available - proximity to Heathrow

Review 69:Lack of an en suite bedroom and having the only toilet being in the only bathroom, made my stay with family miserable. Waiting for someone bathing to use the toilet was not good. The garden outside was beautiful but cannot make for the inconvenience caused by inadequate number of toilets. Further more, the bedroom has no locking provision. Safe in the wardrobe outside the bedroom instead of inside.

Review 70:Proximity to bus stops, the kitchen, sitting room and sofa bed we great. The green gardens and hedges were beautiful.

Review 71:Taxi driver had problem finding apartment as post code didnt appear on their Sat Nav

Review 72:Apartment very comfortable and staff very helpful. Would stay again.

Review 73:Apartment needs a spring clean. Washer/dryer did not dry clothes properly - reception staff have dried our clothes for us.

Review 74:Convenient location; Kitchen facilities; Inexpensive and secure car parking; Free WIFI Receptionist (polish lady, Dorota) was polite, helpful, professional and welcoming - simply a star, she makes the place tick!

Review 75:Nothing really

Review 76:Helpful & knowlegable staff. Location close to public transport & car rental company. Despite proximity to the airport, our unit was very quiet.

Review 77:Bed was a little uncomfortable - could be improved greatly with the addition of a pillow-topper. Kitchen could benefit from a few essentials, like a non-stick skillet. Refrigerator set too cold and no obvious way to change the temperature setting.

Review 78:This apartment was about 100 feet from the free Heathrow bus line drop off point. Maybe 300 from the pick up point. WiFi was reliable, heat worked well, plenty of hot water. Great value for money.

Review 79:Hard pillows but i am fussey

Review 80:Very clean.Sheets clean and crisp warm inside felt homely. your needs were meet with every thing in the one bedroom apartment that you could want for.

Review 81:This apartment is in a great location for Heathrow airport and we stayed there one night before flying home to Australia. Plenty of room for three in a one bedroom apartment with a fold down sofa bed and good kitchen facilities- we cooked our own meal. Very helpful and well informed lady on reception who ordered a cab for us and answered all questions with ease.

Review 82:Excellent location to Heathrow very warm secure take a bus to Hayes and train into Paddington in 25 minutes.Heathrow right next door and quiet in our room

Review 83:No lift

Review 84:Space Wifi Free bus number 285 takes you to Hatton Cross station bus stop just down the road accomodation price so much cheaper than in Central London very handy to Heathrow

Review 85:Wifi

Review 86:Everything except the wifi which was always tripping off. Had to get help a couple of times as it was affecting my ability to work online while away from the office

Review 87:the room was quiet and clean. just the thing we needed after the trip down to London from the North. We were only there overnight so no real time to access, but for the price excellent.

Review 88:2 towels for a couple for 2 nights stay and charge for fresh towels. TV in bedroom tiny and including the living room one wasn't much bigger. Horrible smell £10 charge for car park. So expensive not worth the price and won't be returning again.

Review 89:10.00 am check-out. Would prefer noon.

Review 90:Absolutely no noise from Heathrow yet just minutes away by taxi or bus. Very friendly receptionist. The Flying Egg café is a 5-min walk and offers a full range of delicious breakfast options prepared fresh to order for reasonable prices.

Review 91:Inexpensive taxi ride to and from the airport. Delicious Indian restaurant walking distance, 10 min walk. Lots of channels on TV. The full kitchen was nice as well even though we didn't use it.

Review 92:Travelled with disabled parent, ground floor apartment was warm and comfortable. Excellent sound-proofing couldn't believe we were next to Heathrow Airport. Will definitely stay again.

Review 93:We did not have hot water for 2 days out of the 3 days of stay. The staff could offer alternate rooms as they were fully booked and were unable to resolve the problem until the day of departure. The staff on site did not know how to operate the hot water tank. There was no back up to call a tradesman out of hours when the hot water tank did not work. This issue made it difficult to enjoy the stay.

Review 94:Excellent location for my work. Standard of accommodation was clean and nice to have a kitchen facility unlike a hotel.

Review 95:Just a little trouble trying to get used to the washing machine cum dryer and trying to get the clothes completely dry. The process took several hours.

Review 96:All staff very helpful. Really good to be able to use a kitchen instead of having to dine out all the time. Also able to wash clothes. Home from home in a way. We had 3 different types of rooms on our separate stays over the 3 weeks. The studio is really only good for a short stay or a single person but the other two types were both very good for longer stays. Excellent location for the airport and travel to London or anywhere else in the UK. The planes taking off were very noisy in the area but the double glazing shut out the noise. Able to get an Airport bus, on departure, from the Holiday Inn a few yards away. Free buses along Bath Road to the airport all day. Whole area fenced in to keep the cars and rooms safe from intruders. Wonderful restaurant called the Pheasant in walking distance.

Review 97:Pull out bed in the lounge was fine for a 3 year old -so no problems for us but may have been a bit uncomfortable for an adult.

Review 98:Fantastic location near the airport. Very nicely presented apartments, clean tidy, everything you would need. Friendly, efficient reception staff

Review 99:Felt a bit stranded. Not sure what to do in evening. Not near any shops or restaurants or anything. I had car with me so drove into London by car to meet family..

Review 100:Great apartment Well equipped. easy to find. Parking. Easy drive to airport t.4 to pick up daughter in morning.

Review 101:Liz on the front desk was wonderful, we arrived early and she checked us in straightaway. Her helpfulness and good humour were evident right through our stay.

Review 102:Approach to apartment quite dark. Although this is a council fault.

Review 103:Free bus from Heathrow. Then 3 mins walk. Shops close and pub.Clean well equipped apartment. 24 hr. Reception.

Review 104:Good from beginning to end. Long flight and I was tired and crabby. Checked in and given a quiet apartment to refresh and relax. Service was friendly and professional. Would definitely book again.

Review 105:Shower facility. Poor design, easy to cause water flow out of bath tub. Sofabed too soft. TV a bit small. Early check out at 10am.

Review 106:Clean and modern kitchen. Ample parking spaces though chargable. Convenient location fr Heathrow.

Review 107:Having to pay for towel use no matter how long we stayed. Did not have the time to recycle them everyday by washing them which is why I paid for that inconvenience.

Review 108:Friendly staff, quietness and security

Review 109:the place is very nice,, the only problem we had is that most of taxi drivers refused to take us as it is very close to the airport which I think it is good but bad in the same way

Review 110:Wi-fi was a problem - once logged-off, unable to get back on using the guest codes provided. Getting stung £10 at check-in to park car outside apartment, even though it was on their property !

Review 111:Location. Gated entrance. Very well finished one bedroom suite. Friendly receptionist.

Review 112:Easy to find and staff were helpful. Giving us a local map and explaining where to get the free bus for heathrow airport. Accommodation exceeded my expectations.

Review 113:Nothing

Review 114:Nice, modern apartment! Spacious room. Good view. Surprisingly, it is a quiet place to stay even it is just beside the airport. Friendly and helpful staff. We do had a comfortable stayed in the apartment.

Review 115:I love the apartment but next time I will prefer to stay down flat unlike the second floor I stay the last time. They is no lift so I have to carry my luggages and shopping using the stair.

Review 116:The apartment is clean and very relaxing.

Review 117:Strong Smell of urine in hall Pungent smell of curry powder/takeaway or some such thing in bedroom in closet and on pillows Not sound proofed, couldn't sleep for the planes taking off Sofa bed inadeqaute mattress for adult, springs came through causing back pain in the morning Cheap furnishings

Review 118:Close to airport

Review 119:The smell in the apartment - it smelled like an Indian restaurant (especially the kitchen). We had to keep the windows open for most of the time and also used an air-freshener in the kitchen as it was unbearable.

Review 120:Nice location for the airport All you need to feel like home Feels relaxed although you are at the airport

Review 121:During this extremely hot we should not have had to ask for a fan, but when we did the manager was very quick to supply it.

Review 122:Excellent troubleshooting of two problems with electrical equipment Courteous and helpful staff Would recommend these apartments.

Review 123:The corridors had a horrible smell of stale takeout food The a/c didn't work and the room was stuffy The bathroom is big but the wet room idea doesn't work, it looks like it was an old people's home previously and they couldn't be bothered to put a shower tray in as it would cost more money. They have just left the floor as it is and without a proper dip in the floor the whole bathroom floor is covered in water... infact the bathroom in general feels like you're visiting your Grandparents in an old peoples home with the seat that pulls down, the extra handrails and the emergency cable in the bathroom which is not what I would expect for the price

Review 124:Having access to a kitchenette . The bed was fairly comfortable

Review 125:Poor lighting in bathroom

Review 126:Helpful and friendly staff who were genuinely concerned about their guests. Great location and facilities in studio apartment.

Review 127:If you are going to stay / visit the centre of London, it is not so preferrable as it needs to travel long but it is good for those who want to stay near the airport for their catch up of planes. Price is a bit high.

Review 128:Cleaniness Tidiness and comfortness Staff is very helpful

Review 129:- Shower was very hot. It didn't turn toward the cold setting. - Having to pay for checking out later. - Having to pay for car park - No bed sheets came with the sofa bed

Review 130:- Free WIFI - Clean - Received a free upgrade to executive room (very much appreciated).

Review 131:There should be a seperate shower area or a few rooms without a Tub..... Wi-Fi connectivity should definitely be improved.

Review 132:Conveniently located near Heathrow, Nice rooms, Good & Clean...The Kitchenette is a good idea. Staff very helpful.....Good Value for money in London...
