Reviews for Résidence Le Ruitor

Review 1:We did not find the beds comfortable, the wifi was very slow.

Review 2:Front desk support was very good, well-informed, pleasant to deal with and nice to the kids. The rooms were clean and kitchen was well equipped. Great location within a few minute walk of affordable restaurants and the ski lift.

Review 3:Beds are very hard, the day after I came back to my house I left with stiff neck :(

Review 4:Lovely place, clean, location is good if you like to stay in small resort, lovely people, staff very friendly.

Review 5:The only slight downside was a little walk to the slopes although the shuttle bus was very regular.

Review 6:Beautiful apartment with panomaric views of the mountains. Staff very helpful. Lovely pool complex.

Review 7:Wi-Fi signal was very weak (only worked in one out of 3 bedrooms). Bathrobe and slippers to access the spa cost 9 euros per day - something that should be free in a 4 star accommodation.

Review 8:Very friendly and helpful staff at reception desk, spacious and clean apartment with spectacular views from the terrace. Located within short walk from the main village with plenty of good restaurants and skiing activities. Perfect place to stay for a family with children.

Review 9:I did not like that there was no contact for emergencies and it was by pure chance that our neighbour knew there's someone from the staff on the ground floor when the key they left us (since we arrived after 8 pm) did not fit the lock. I strongly recommend that a contact number be provided for such cases.

Review 10:I especially liked the swimming area, very clean and comfortable, the well warmed ski room, the beautiful lounge area and the shuttle available to take skiers to the ski area. The apartment was very spacious with a great mountain view and on the whole our stay was very pleasant.

Review 11:Internet was terrible, constantly trying and retrying for a connection and when connected, it would often fall off again. Very frustrating

Review 12:Friendly, helpful staff. Bakery service. We apparently had a very spacious apartment compared to some others. Facilities were great, comfortable and oozing class and character.

Review 13:Very well organised and planned property making skiing easy with a family. A bus to save walking not far up the hill was a luxury, ski boot room , pool and the steam rooms were just what we needed after a tiring day. We will definitely be back.

Review 14:No spare key for apartment and had to move apartments when we lost the key. Mattress too hard.

Review 15:Great location, 500m from slopes and shuttle if you don't want to walk. Very good staff, friendly and approachable. Communal area welcoming and loved decor. Able to order bread for breakfast. Pool small but lovely

Review 16:The kitchen could have done with a few more utensils (eg grater, fish slice) but this is a very minor point.

Review 17:Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Great shuttle bus to take you a few hundred metres to snow front. Lovely swimming pool for end-of-day

Review 18:Wi-fi kept dropping off so couldn't be relied upon. Would have preferred there to have been closer supervision of children in the pool, either by hotel staff or for it to be compulsory for children to be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Review 19:Stunning view of the mountains from our clean and comfortable apartment with convenient, safe parking and thoughtfully designed ski & boot room. The staff were very efficient and the communal areas nicely done. We liked the pool and being able to order bread to collect from reception in the morning.

Review 20:We loved that we could borrow fondue and raclette sets as well as tobogans. We loved the shuttle which made the little hill to the slopes even easier. Pool and sauna were gorgeous & staff always so helpful.

Review 21:wifi slowliness the fact that reception closes twice a day, early check out

Review 22:Location, hotel staff, the pool, the high standard kitchen appliances, the view, cheap rent a car

Review 23:WiFi connection was problematic

Review 24:The reception staff were incredibly helpful, patient and resourceful. We also appreciated the assistance in calling a doctor and having the Résidence Le Ruitor driver take us to our bus transfer at 6.00am.

Review 25:WiFi connection is slow in the appartments. I don't need internet during vacation but if you do it will be slow (good enough for Facebook etc.). However, you can use a computer station in the rception area with good internet connection. WiFi is also better in reception/bar/Lounge area.

Review 26:Location, Very Friendly Service, Appartment equipment, Swiming pool / Sauna, Bar/Lounge with fire place, Shuttle service, End of piste dirctly at front door!, Bakery service, Garage, Ski lockers, View (book appartment with mountain view :),

Review 27:Wi-fi was a bit sporadic, but otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Review 28:Clean, comfortable apartment with all mod cons. Perfect for family with children. Free door-to-door shuttle service made it easier to get to slopes than some apartments that are actually closer to lift. Friendly, helpful staff. Great pool. Heated private boot room. Perfect!

Review 29:The double bed, although comfortable was tiny with so much wasted space either side, if we'd had younger children we would have swapped our room for the twin room.

Review 30:The Chalet was very well equipped especially the kitchen, and a very good bathroom. A really good space. The Spa and Pool facility was first class. Over all this for us was a great place to stay.

Review 31:Kitchen was missing essential items such as teapot, milk jug, potato masher, egg cups etc The double bedroom is tiny and the duvet thin and pillows hard. WiFi very slow.

Review 32:Sunny comfortable apartment. Better quality of bed and bedding and more kitchen equipment would make the apartment outstanding. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Review 33:Hard beds

Review 34:Virtually everything!

Review 35:- Internet....(but it might not be a problem in the hotel)

Review 36:- Beautiful lobby - Hiking courses nearby - Kitchen facilities

Review 37:Wifi only allowed one device to connect

Review 38:Location, quality of accomodation

Review 39:wi-fi horrible

Review 40:reception team . marion especiaplly kindness .professionly

Review 41:Beds a bit hard but everything else very comfortable.

Review 42:Wifi was very weak when it worked

Review 43:Cozy reception with very accommodating staff

Review 44:Very bad WiFi. Sometimes non-existing connection.

Review 45:Very good apartment that is close to the ski-lifts. Good standard and very nice staff. Nice spa.

Review 46:Hard beds. Rubbish wifi. Bar closed at 8pm.

Review 47:Loved the pool reception and bar. Really lovely. The apartments were spacious and of a good standard.

Review 48:The bar, reception, spa and pool all closed at 8pm so we were unable to sit and have a drink in the evening except within your own apartment. The Wifi reception was only available in the reception area so after 8pm we found ourselves sitting cross legged outside the reception area trying to download e.mails Although you can walk to the ski area you would not want to with skis as it is uphill and quite far in ski boots

Review 49:Staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was comfortable, modern and clean. Transport available to the slopes.

Review 50:It was a difficult area for public transport to and from Tignes and other skiing resorts and sights. Taxi prices expensive.

Review 51:We stayed from 20-25 March 2014. New Self contained apartments with hotel style service. Walking distance to Sainte-Foy Sking area. Parking is available at the Resort for a price. Great spa, indoor pool and sauna rooms. Our room was good with 90' view of the village and part mountain and situated above front entrance. The receptionist Delphine was very accommodating and extremely generous with her information and openness. Connection to Wi-Fi only in lobby. Overall great spot in a quite location.

Review 52:The beds were rock hard and toilet seat creaked - but that was about it!

Review 53:Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. Pool and spa facilties were fantastic. The apartment was clean, warm and well-equipped with amazing views.

Review 54:Your website told us you'd take payment in full on a non-refundable basis however the hotel insisted we had to pay them, this was confusing and I still don't know if we;ve paid twice?

Review 55:Ste Foy is fantatic, Le Ruitor is one of several complexes that offer exceptional accomodation. Our 3rd visit, many more to come!

Review 56:The WiFi. Needs to be sorted. Kept dropping out.

Review 57:Great place, very helpful and pleasant staff. Far better value than staying at Tignes or Val d'Isere where we planned to ski. Tignes Brevieres - free parking is only 20 minutes by car. We spent more time than we had anticipated in St Foy itself. Great skiing despite its size. Lovely mountain restaurants too. Very different from the expensive self-service you find in the larger resorts. Pool and sauna good. Whole place clean, stylish, and well-appointed. Will repeat the experience.

Review 58:Nothing! It was all good.

Review 59:Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel reception, lounge and bar area were comfortable and welcoming. The apartment was simply furnished but felt of good quality and had everything we needed. The pool and steam room were lovely. Clearly, a lot of thought had gone into the design of the hotel and the requirements of its guests...it surpassed our expectations! We visited at a quiet time but everyone in the resort was very friendly and there was a good atmosphere in the bars and restaurants.

Review 60:A bit of a maze to get from entrance to the different buildings and apartments. We had some kitchen tools missing such as toaster and incomplete coffee machine. You need some 300m uphill to get to ski .

Review 61:Nice staff and pool/sauna was very convenient for post ski relaxation. The apartments were very well furnished with taste. Large parking underneath so free of snow and easy access

Review 62:Terrible internet. 6 persons apartment is too small for 6 persons.

Review 63:Close to nice village and small quiet ski area. Spa and lounge are very nice. Reception in the residence is convenient.

Review 64:Wifi was broken for first 3 days but very slow and unreliable thereafter. Power cut one day - apparently no emergency generators or lighting. The location is OK as there is a shuttle service practically on demand to take you up to the chairlift, and you can ski back, but the street is still undergoing construction so there are a few soulless building sites (only chalets, so no disruption or eyesores at all, just that it feels a bit empty).

Review 65:All equipment provided was spotless and in perfect condition. Good bedrooms, nice showers, comfortable beds. Nice that the corridors are all internal and carpeted (have experienced apartments where you have to walk along outside walkways). Ski locker room warm and well-equipped.

Review 66:Local information was limited. Some very minor problems with the apartment (wi-fi did not work and the apartment lacked character)

Review 67:Great location, Friendly Staff, Comfortable accommodation

Review 68:The two building lift system. The location is 200 meters from the slopes and the minibus system was flawed. I only managed to get a lift up once in 6 days!

Review 69:The apartments are Clean and spacious. well laid out and comfortable. Staff were friendly.

Review 70:Nothing

Review 71:This was our second stay and despite booking late and not being able to have the larger apartment than we had last time we were really impressed. The smaller apartment for 4-6 persons was well designed and beautifully decorated with all necessary good quality appliances. The spa area/ pool and bar were excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We really appreciated the minibus service to the slopes which saved us the hard walk up the hill that we had to make on our first visit. The L'Occitane products were gorgeous! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Review 72:its a real shame that the reception, and more importantly, the pool etc is only open at odd times, and closes at 8 pm, which is not convenient at all.

Review 73:clean and pleasant. nice design.

Review 74:The cooking equipments, such as deep pan and flying pan were awefuly old(the surfaces of some of orange pans were teared off and those are not for our healths! )and hard to cook. It was very stressful during our stay.

Review 75:The inner pool was clean, and sauna and hammam were easy to use.

Review 76:only issue was that beds were far too hard, making it difficult to sleep well

Review 77:Very well designed, staff were very friendly - adequate space in appartment ( but slept 4 in an appartment that could sleep 6)

Review 78:Internet speeds are far too slow and unreliable which was v frustrating for adults and teens. Couldn't get up last 50m of road to the hotel on the arrival day as road had not been gritted. Wait for ski passes was 1 to 1.5 hrs on the first day for most of the day.....while this is not specifically the Hotels fault they are part of the tourist business for the resort and it was totally inadequate, they need to sort this out as it caused significant anger.

Review 79:All modern and high standard facilities with a rustic finish in complete keeping with the local style. Great views over the mountains and valleys Easy walking distance to the ski slopes Spa and pool facilities were great.

Review 80:the wifi

Review 81:The staff and the facilities plus its closeness to the piste

Review 82:Oven in apartment not great! Sofa not very comfy and wifi not working on first night.

Review 83:Friendly reception! Good facilities modern decor in apartments

Review 84:Poor Wi-Fi & the beds a bit hard.

Review 85:Location for skiing was fantastic St Foy & Les Arcs from Villaroger. Great value & very clean.

Review 86:lack of wi-fi shuttle bus service not available at the end of afternoon ski

Review 87:superb atmosphere and decor. would definately return

Review 88:Wifi was appalling

Review 89:Location and although full did not feel congested

Review 90:The bed was a bit hard. Didn't have wifi for first three days.

Review 91:Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 92:Poor wifi but I think that was across the resort and beds not that comfortable

Review 93:Lovely chalet feel to the property and the apartments were very nice

Review 94:Internet Wifi drops out all the time, especially in the evenings whenyou want to use it the most.

Review 95:Overall a very nice place

Review 96:Toilet in the kitchen

Review 97:Everything! Very good hotel, bargain price when we stayed there but have looked to book again & it's quite pricey.

Review 98:Paying for towels

Review 99:Leisure Facillities

Review 100:too small swimming pool (!)

Review 101:good view, good room, friendly staff
