Review 1:The staff were very friendly and attentive, and great cooks! The room was comfortable with excellent en-suite facilities. A lovely B&B in great location, which I am happy to recommend and hope I will have the chance of staying in on another occasion.

Review 2:Tommy, the owner, was super friendly and helpful. Our clothes were soaking after raining all day and he make extra efforts to ensure they were dried. His breakfast was also top notch! Highly recommended.

Review 3:The bed was a little short especially for my 6'4 husband! So he didn't sleep as well as he could have.

Review 4:We had a lovely friendly welcome and were able to check in late and also check out a little later than 10am. The room was lovely and clean and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was great.

Review 9:Ashbank B&B is a wonderful place to stay. We only planned to stay overnight but found the warm friendly welcome we received from Tom and his lovely family enticed us to extend our stay for another night. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt all our needs were met. We will definitely stay again.

Review 10:There are no negative aspects of Ashbank B&B.

Review 11:From the arriving to the leaving there was a warmness to this B & B. The couple who run it are so friendly and have vast knowledge about the surrounding areas. Excellent rooms, food, bed, shower, etc... in fact all was excellent. You are a fool not to stay here whether for a night or four like what we did. We will return when in this area again.

Review 12:No choice for breakfast - if you had a cooked breakfast we weren't asked about choice of egg or what we wanted.

Review 13:Jug of iced water produced as soon as I asked

Review 14:There are no negatives with this B&B, it is excellent.

Review 15:The room was very spacious, comfortable, modern and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable. There is ample parking. Tom, the owner, was welcoming and there was a good choice of options for breakfast. The village of Drymen has a good range and choice of places to eat and drink.

Review 16:Just a comment - the B&B is mainly used by walkers. If they want to be out early walking, you'll hear them in the shower.

Review 17:Excellent location, very friendly host, clean and well-equipped room and bathroom and nice breakfast.

Review 18:The mattress comfort could have been a little bit more comfortable

Review 19:The facilities were of very high quality. Tommy was a great host and provided us with lots of helpful advice with our touring. Breakfast was very tasty.

Review 20:Very friendly and helpful, made us feel very much at home, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room, beautifully presented. Great breakfast, would certainly recommend.

Review 21:Lack of a wardrobe - ok if on walking tour, but needed for longer stays. Also some people were inconsiderate of others and were noisy. Sound proofing was not the best.

Review 22:Loved the location. Could get to Loch Lomond and into Glasgow equally easily. In evening a good selection of local eateries to choose from within walking distance. Tommy and Mhairi were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful, very approachable.

Review 63:lovely place to stay.clean fresh airy room.owners very helpful and local eateries excellent.

Review 64:Breakfast came with The Best black pudding ever tasted. The rooms were in an annex giving guests a real sense of privacy, and the hosts were most welcoming at the end of a long day's cycling.

Review 65:The cooked breakfast was a bit stingy and not very filling when we were about to continue on the West Highland Way. Not a big gripe however...

Review 66:The room was very clean and comfortable. The house was in the centre of Drymen and handy for the local pubs. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Review 67:Having completed a 14 mile section of the West Highland Way from Rowardennan to Drymen; and having also conquered the infamous Conic Hill, Ashbank appeared like an oasis in the desert.Greeted by a lovely building, a warm welcome from the owners, and a recommendation of where to get a brilliant evening meal. The place is immaculate, beds really comfy, and we were sent off the next morning with a smile and a hearty Scottish breakfast to see us on our final leg of our journey.

Review 68:Absolutely spotless, very comfortable and the owners were very welcoming and accomodating. We really had a lovely stay and will choose Ashbank again, thankyou.

Review 69:The owners have a meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of their service. For example, an older review complained about WiFi and now there is high-speed WiFi in each room! Breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious and comfortable. -3oC outside but nice and warm inside. Definitely better than any hotel nearby.

Review 70:tv channels needed tuning in, the picture was bad on the ones that did work.

Review 74:We stayed for three nights just after new year, we were in the fortunate position of having the place to ourselces and were given the option of any room. The family who own this provided an excellent service from the breakfast offered each morning to providing information on the local area. I would certainly recommend staying here for the facilities and service provided. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Review 75:This was one of the best b&bs we have ever stayed in. We were welcomed by Tommy and shown to our beautiful and immaculate rooms. Every little comfort was there. The b&b is almost next door to Scotland's oldest pub and a short drive from Loch Lomond. The whole stay was absolutely charming. We would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay.

Review 76:Tommy & Mhairi are a lovely welcoming couple. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and the shower room was excellent. Breakfast cooked to perfection by Tommy. Had a great night in Drymen, a lovely wee village, for St Andrews celebrations. Will definitely come again!

Review 82:There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this B&B.

Review 83:We are walking from John o Groats to Lands End and used the WestHighland Way as part of the route. Ashbank is right on the West HighlandWay and was perfect for us. We received a very warm welcome and wereinstantly made to feel at home. Attention to detail was excellentincluding things like checking what we wanted in our packed lunches,(most places ignore requests made through third party booking sites)location of extra pillows, a proper tray for our muddy boots, how to usethe thermostat if we became cold and asking for our wet clothes so thatthey could be dried, the significance of this is that we normally haveto ask the host for drying facilities. Of all the places we stayed induring our whw walk this was by far the best. We had the twin room roomand the sun rise was fantastic coming in through the windows. Enjoy!

Review 84:there wasn't anything not to like
