Reviews for Gasthof zur Post
Review 1:We booked a room at this family-run place for four nights and for daily commuting to Saalbach ski resort. Thank God Saalbach had been fully booked because this Gasthof is simply a must. For this price category plus location such combination of just-like-your-granny-made dishes, wellness and welcoming atmosphere is almost a sheer wonder. Thank you GzP team, we had a great time! Make sure you try their Veal(!) Tafelspitz and the Wiener Schnitzel. Sooo good :)
Review 2:The only negative thing was that there was no hot water late at night, so not everyone in our group managed to take shower before bed.
Review 3:Very nice hotel with clean spacious rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, good restaurant for dinner.
Review 4:The internet was very slow, but is a minor problem. We did not read careful the information page. The staff at the moment of the arrival did not speak english and we do not speak German, and the communication flow was not that good. However, we found ourself looked out out of the hotel at 11:50 pm! After 20 min we found the way to out room. So please read all the information!
Review 5:We were visiting friends in the area, so we did not spend too much time in the hotel. The room and the bathroom were big and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was included. The staff was polite.
Review 6:We had booked a normal double room but instead we got a big apartment. Nice!

Review 14:it did not impress too much as it was just an ordinary place, ordinary breakfast for Austrian standards could be better
Review 15:location, simplicity
Review 16:Excellent location, out of the tight confines of Zell am See, and semi rural, yet accessible and convenient. Wonderful facility, very clean, nicely decorated, good kitchen. Staff very attentive.
Review 17:-overnight hotel was locked, only way out through back-door -the access to reception and breakfast locked out till 07:30 every morning, strange -no elevators, hence rather difficult with heavy luggage -far away from any ski resort -rather difficult to find a ski-shuttle (there is none) you have to find locals to explain, hence with no knowledge of german language you will get lost
Review 18:-breakfast was excellent -friendly and helpfull staff -good kitchen, can just recommend, with decent prices
Review 19:It was a bit too warm during night with heating off.
Review 20:Best food I had for a long time, nice looking and clean, nice stuff, nice view from balcony, bus across the road.
Review 21:Staff were wonderful. Location was perfect. Room was clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food was delicious.
Review 22:Unattentive staff, waited 20 minutes for staff to come to reception for check in. Room description said room with 2 separate bedrooms, but room given was a normal room with a bed and a sofa bed, so not as described.
Review 23:Nice hotel, great views from balcony, beautiful location.
Review 24:Our room was on a noisy road.
Review 25:The swimming pool is amazing. A natural pond with plants, insects, but totally clean pristine water, and big. Lovely to swimm in, a dream.
Review 26:Departure time. No bathroom goods (shampoo, shower gel, soap).
