Reviews for The Lodge at Prince's
Review 1:Had a lovely room but due to near a bin store the noise was not acceptable . There was no hesitation and we were moved to the best suite. All the Staff couldn't have been more friendly ,helpful and nice and made our stay there a lovely one
Review 2:The location was our main reason for visiting and when it was daylight, we got there during the dark, the view and closeness to the sea was what we had hoped for
Review 3:evening meal a little pretentious, overly seasoned not to my taste. Plus it was expensive for what it was. the cooked breakfast was excellent but the continental was very limited and very disappointing.
Review 4:room was exceptional. view; delightful.
Review 5:Location is remote and directions poor. Staff unhelpful. Woken every morning at 7am to lawnmower. Chased for money every time we turned around. Surely a credit card is a guarantee enough. Felt uncomfortable all the time like not trusted.
Review 6:The weather and the sea
Review 7:First room had a noisy extractor fan from the kitchen running from 7am to 10.30pm. However we were quickly offered another and better room
Review 8:Friendly and helpful staff.
Review 9:Only one comment - we missed a chair(s) to use for watching TV/reading - there was plenty of room for a couple of chairs (room 21)
Review 10:The staff were very obliging - changing a room (first one noisy from fan in kitchen), cheerful and welcoming. Very good breakfast with caring waiting- on staff..
Review 11:Bed very uncomfortable both me and my boyfriend said we had bad backs and I'm 23... Wifi kept disconnecting and room was very noisy!
Review 12:Staff very nice
Review 13:I didn't like to leave !
Review 14:( firstly , not so much of the mature ! ) the staff made us feel very welcome , bar, waiting and reception all very polite and happy .the room was amazing ,with balcony overlooking the golf course (23).the food in the restaurant was lovely and tbe breakfast excellent.
Review 15:Rooms in the main building get noise from the kitchen extractor fan and on fridays and saturdays evenings from the parties. The restaurant is often is booked for receptions on weekends so you have to take the car and find a place where to eat somewhere else.
Review 16:This was my second time here and the location is magic. Rooms are very nice especially the ones facing the sea..
Review 17:It was a shame that the Brasserie menu did not change for the three nights that we were there.
Review 18:The room was large and light. Large very comfortable bed. Seating area to relax and read or watch a large flat screened T.V. The bathroom was warm and had a bath and shower, toilet and wash basin all spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. The bar food and the brasserie food were excellent. Overall a very enjoyable long weekend. We would defineatley return, maybe in summer.
Review 19:Quite soul-less, like a conference venue with fluorescent lighting and cheap-looking decor. Our room was huge but completely lacking in personality, just a double bed in an otherwise empty room. Accessible bathroom was a bit strange - felt a bit like being in a hospital. Very rowdy group of golfers there when we stayed so didn't really enjoy the atmosphere in the bar. No one to greet us for breakfast, had to eat surrounded by crumbs/dirty plates of earlier guests, food not very appetizing. All round, very disappointed.
Review 20:Right on Sandwich Bay.
Review 21:The location is a little isolated which wasn't necessarily a problem for me but might be if you were travelling in a golfing group.
Review 22:The staff were excellent, very polite, helpful and attentive. WiFi fast enough to stream the football at the bar! Rooms were clean and bed was extremely comfy.
Review 23:Room too hot to sleep. heating couldn't be adjusted. Also noisy - heating system?
Review 24:Spacious room. Very good shower. Very good selection of breakfast options.
Review 25:The check in time was quite late and the check out time was quite early (10.30) but they were so accommodating that this really didn't matter.
Review 26:We were lucky enough to have a corner room with a balcony over looking the course which was a treat on a sunny morning. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower was excellent, very powerful. We were attending a wedding in Sandwich so were unable to check in early but were able to use changing facilities and to check in late after the wedding with no issues, the staff were exceptionally polite and helpful on this point.
Review 27:Mowing the green outside my window at 7.00am if I had wanted a late start Telephone too far from the bed for a wake up call Old pair of socks in the cupboard
Review 28:Absolutely everything, 1st class
Review 29:The Lodge was empty & lacked atmosphere. Would not recommend for a romantic getaway. Feels more like a golfers hotel. Re

Review 44:No bath Cold room (heating looked complicated so had to use a little room heater)
Review 45:Big spacious room Very clean Friendly staff Delicious breakfast
Review 46:some of the menu was unavailable and thin walls (it could get noisy) at night before guests left for their party!
Review 47:The apartment layout and location.
Review 48:Isolated in winter Tricky to find and get to
Review 49:Restaurant and Bar Location near golf courses
Review 50:Driving over humps for some distance in order to reach hotel.
Review 51:Views over tees. Spacious room.
Review 52:Nothing
Review 53:Everything from comfort, cleanliness, food and very friendly staff. 2nd visit and not disappointed.
Review 54:Quality accomodation with great meals
Review 55:Thought the staff were not as attentive as they should have been
Review 56:Handiness for Prince's Golf Club
Review 57:Early check in and extended check out would have been appreciated.
Review 58:The location and the tranquillity of the surrondings.
Review 59:It was not possible to make the room dark enough to sleep. The emergency light, the telephone, the bathroom mirror, the outside light, the corridor lights and a round green light next to the door in the room all emitted light. Studies show that a good night sleep requires a darkened environment. I suggest you look at improving this.
Review 60:The modern feel, the attentive staff and the quick wi-fi.
Review 61:The A/c was not working and the so called King Size bed was too small for us
Review 62:The view and size of room
Review 63:Fantastic outlook onto the course & the staff and room exceptional along with the first class breakfast.
Review 64:hardly any one staying
Review 65:The food
