Review 3:We had a two night stay at Bramblewood for a friend's wedding close by. It was perfect and we would definitely stay again. Drymen is beautiful and we would love to return in the summer for more walking!

Review 4:Extremely comfortable, light, spacious, modern house, in a very quiet area. The host was extremely welcoming: when we arrived he brought us a pot of tea with homemade shortbread, and we had a good chat. There's some separation between the family house and the B&B rooms, so you can have as much privacy as you want (not the case in all B&Bs). The breakfast was amazing.

Review 55:Very friendly owner who is passionate about his business. Peaceful location yet conveniently located near a village with a shop and pubs. Room is furnished to the highest standards, could well match higher-end hotel rooms. Comfortable beds, good quality amenities and the adjecent patio is a nice extra. Lovely to have a choice of a full Scottish or a propper continental breakfast, including freshly baked croissants. The communal breakfast table might not be to everyone's liking, but for us it led to interesting conversations with fellow guests.

Review 56:Fabulous breakfast. Wonderful hosts who came out to pick us up as we were a bit lost and very tired. Very quite, lovely view out of bedroom. A very comfortable stay.

Review 57:Beautiful house in quiet peaceful location. French doors opening onto the balcony overlooking the garden where we enjoyed our morning coffee. Ally the owner - so friendly & helpful - dropped us down into Drymen for an evening meal & asked that the proprietor ring him when we are ready to be picked up again!

Ally was welcoming and we were greeted by tea and biscuits and treated to a great breakfast before we left. Lots of choice in village of places to eat. All in all the best night sleep away from home I can recall. Thank you Bramblewood!

Review 68:For us on holiday the choice of time of breakfast either 8am or 8.30am mid week was a bit early for us. Most places we stayed at were more flexible, and breakfast was usually served up until 9.30-10am. Having said that it would not put us off.

Review 69:Nice location not far from the village. Accommodation was really nice, very comfortable rooms thoughtfully decorated. Very nice hosts. Very well organised, nice breakfast. We would definately stay again.

Review 72:I had the honour of taking part in the British Gas Great Scottish swim in Loch Lomond and chose to stay in this B&B for the weekend. From the moment I met Kate, she made our stay wonderful. Kate was extremely welcoming and very helpful. This B&B is amazing. Lovely room and bathroom, spotless, very comfortable, spectacular views close to the trossachs national park, first class hospitality and first class Scottish breakfast as well prepared by Ally. Perfect location just 10 minute’s walk from the idyllic village of Drymen with its fantastic hostelries. I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough, it is worth every penny. The only disappointing thing was that the weekend ended and I had to come home. Heartfelt thanks to both Ally and Kate for a very memorable stay. I am already very much looking forward to coming back again to this B&B in 2014.

Review 73:Room was just missing a luggage stand, but plenty of space with a closet to store clothes and other things.

Review 74:Bed was comfortable. Good spacious, clean & modern room. A folder full of tourist information in the room. Good proximity to hiking destinations. Some nice personal touches in the room. Good, filling breakfast. We really liked this place and would stay again if we are in the area.

Review 75:We stayed with our sons 2 nights in Ally & Kate's B&B. We did found out that they are the new owners of this great place. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about their hospitality, Ally's cooking, the premises or the location. Well maybe one thing... the bed was a little too hard for my wife. Highly recommendable, whenever we will be in this area... this will be our home from home!

Review 76:A little noisy when guests moved out early in the morning.

Review 77:Everything! The owners were very helpful and friendly. My room wasvery clean and the breakfast was perfect. I even had help withcharging my phone.

Review 82:Rooms are spacious, clean and very well decorated. Bed is very comfortable. Location is great, very calm at night but a walking distance to pubs and restaurants in Drymen. Best English breakfast I've ever had in a hotel/B&B.Under new direction, the hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Perfect stay.

Review 85:The owners were very friendly. The room was very clean. The breakfast was very good. The views were amazing. We emailed to ask to checkin early which was not a problem to the owners. We were meeting friends in the village for a birthday weekend. We will definitely stay again.

Review 86:It was easy to find and as we were rather early we were still very graciously shown to our room, Rosemary the owner was very warm & friendly but still gave us our privacy. it has a very pretty outlook to the garden & breakfast was excellent. We would definitely go back and wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anybody.

Review 87:Nothing - it served us perfectly.

Review 88:The warm friendly greeting on arrival. The large, warm room, cleanliness, comfort and good en suite facilities. The excellent service and breakfast. The friendly chatter with other residents at breakfast. I would recommend this over and above the local hotels.

Review 90:Our hostess was very gracious and accommodating. We had to depart at 6:00 AM to catch a flight from Glasgow and she prepared a snack breakfast for us. The room was very spacious, clean and well the first place in 12 days that had adequate lighting.

Review 91:Could not fault Bramblewood at all - this is one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. Our host (Rosemary) was extremely friendly and made us feel at home - nothing. was too much trouble. Good breakfast. Lovely room & spacious. Easy parking.

Review 92:The friendly reception by Rosemary, her advice and help. Breakfast was really lovely. The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything you might need. The our room opened out onto a large verandah which added to the sense of being in the country.

Review 93:No signs from village center towards the B&B. On foot hard to find, so take a printout with you!

Review 94:After a days hike on the West Highland Way this B&B is more then welcoming! It is truely hotel standard concerning cleanliness, furnishing, space and service. Very recommendable is the breakfast! The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The setting is in beautiful landscape with a nice private terrace!

Review 95:For me: the beds were too hard. Some window blinds were not in order do that you cannot open or close them.

Review 96:I liked the view from the balcony and the gorgious food. The rooms were stylish also the breakfast room. Lots of information booklets, also the weather forecast - printed in the mornings. REALLY friendly owners with good advise. I felt welcome.

Review 97:This was an excellent b&b located a 5 min drive (you should have a carto get there) from Drymen in a very quiet environment. The owner wasvery nice and accommodating and gave valuable information on what to doand where to go.The room was clean and facilities where all new and especially the bed was comfortable. On a terrace you can sit and enjoy the occasionally nice weather in scotland and the beautiful view. The breakfast was also very good. You can choose between continental and scottish. The black pudding was particularly good. Highly recommended

Review 98:Bramblewood was beautiful and everything we wanted and so much more.Rosemary the owner was amazing and made our honeymoon stay fantastic. We will stay there again. The surroundings were peaceful and the best way to describe the stay was WOW!!

Review 99:Very friendly and helpful host in Rosemary. Lovely spotlessly clean room. Great breakfast with a wide choice on the menu. A nice quiet area just out of the main village with a rural outlook. Could not fault the service.

Review 100:Wonderful and peaceful setting; owner was friendly and efficient; room was extremely comfortable; everything had been thought of; breakfast was absolutely superb.

Review 101:Hosts Rosemary and John made the stay very comfortable and were prepared to put themselves out to ensure we had all we needed. The room was well presented and we were left to ourselves as much as we required, but if we needed something they were on hand to help. Rosemary and John were well informed about the local area and shared their knowledge freely. Bramblewood is well located for a range of activity, whether walking, climbing or sightseeing. Whatever you do, the breakfast will set you up for the day as it is top quality.
