Reviews for Hôtel Hexagone
Review 1:Smelly basic room, 15-20 minute walk to city centre with grocery shop and restaurants, property would benefit from refurbishment and new paint to remove smell of smokers
Review 2:Friendly staff, quiet location, garage for bicycle
Review 3:Friendly family run hotel, easily accessed from N116, parking at hotel or in public area opposite, easy walk (about ten minutes) to town centre, very good local food for evening meals, easy wifi.
Review 4:AC didn't work properly. Supposedly you can get a remote control from the reception, but that was not the case that night. It's also not free.... It was unbearably hot in the room! Could not sleep. Bed was rather soft. Hole in the wall in the bathroom. Breakfast ok.
Review 5:Padres is a very nice town, but please look for a different hotel.
Review 6:It's a bit expensive if you ask me. Wi-Fi signal was pretty weak in our room (compared to reception) but I believe it varies over the facility.
Review 7:I cannot judge the location as we walked from Villefranche-de-Conflent by foot (never try this!) and set off early in the morning, bus station is about 15 mins away if you walk with normal speed. The room was clean and pretty and even had a bath. The guys at the reception waited for us even though we arrived around 10pm which is not typical for hotels in small villages.
Review 8:I booked this hotel for 5 nights last July: a real nightmare. Everything is dirty and depressing.. Towels, bathroom, bed sheets are dirty, old and stinky. If you want to use air conditioning you must go to to reception and ask for the remote control (it costs 5 Euros/day).Internet doenst work! I told the owner if she could change the towels (as they were dirty) and she told me if I wasn’t happy I could try to find another hotel (she was not going to change my towels!) I’ve never seen that in my life, the owner is very rude. Hope never be back!

Review 28:Friendly reception staff Conveniently close to council pool
Review 29:Secure cycle storage. Proprietor happy to put on an early breakfast so we could leave in good time.
Review 30:The Wi Fi signal is very poor at the second floor, even at the first floor. Only at the room 102 which is closest to the office.
Review 31:Convenient location.
Review 32:In the end it's a 2 star hotel therefore you cannot really expect that much.I don't really mind about rooms in general, (otherwise as I always said if you want more you need to book a higher standard hotel) but the room could have been a little bit more cleaner..
Review 33:Location is good , if you want to travel around the roads are very good and never takes that much to go to other places. The owner is very nice and willing to chat with you.
Review 34:What a pity that thgere were so few other guests. We felt sorry for the owners who were very pleasant and welcoming.
Review 35:Freedom to come and go as we pleased. Also our small dog was made most welcome.
Review 36:The outside of the hotel is in need of repair and the bedrooms need updating and renovating. The toilet and bath were each in seperate rooms (more like wardrobes due to their size) with sliding doors. This hotel is like a travel lodge but worse!
Review 37:The staff were pleasant. Breakfast was reasonable at 7 euros.
Review 38:Our room was dark and the shutters were broken so they could not be secured into full open position
Review 39:Lovely homey atmosphere, welcoming staff, good food served in friendly outdoor patio
Review 40:The Booking coordenates were incorrect, takes us to the other sideof the street where we do not see the hotel at all! Large onefloor building.

Review 46:I did not realise you needed a code to get in late. It was not so easy to find on foot.
Review 47:Location, quiet and simple.
Review 48:It is not convenient for travellers by train. Too remote from the railway station.
