Review 1：Shower in room was not working properly in as much as the balancing valve did not seem to work and there was a danger of being scalded. Also The decor was a bit tired.

Review 7：Our room was on the ground floor and the bathroom was very small. No space to store shampoos etc. Shower not very powerful and hot water took a long time to come through. Also electrical sockets for kettle etc. awkwardly placed and difficult to use.

Review 9：Our superior room was spacious, had a gorgeous bay window, comfy bed and an amazing bathroom; it was very new, with a shower over a bath that had power behind it and the toileteries were super too. Breakfast catered for all - fab food! Quirky bar! Great location to explore The Trossachs National Park.

Review 12：Very comfortable room. Quiet. Good food in restaurant. I wanted to leave early in the morning and so a continental breakfast was arranged for me in my room - thank you.

Review 13：Only criticism is there were signs that a bit of touching up needed on paintwork on the stairs in several places and bad scuffing on our bath panel - minor points but a pity as it let this excellent place down a little.

Review 17：Our room, No 4, can only be described as 'en suite' in the strictest sense. It had a tiny broom cupboard in the corner with a shower and toilet squeezed in with no room left over. It was claustrophobic and contained by an ill-fitting sliding door that served little or no purpose. There was a tiny wash hand basin on the bedroom wall. The evening meal was a disaster; we ordered for four and when it eventually arrived, only 2 meals were served and 1 wasn't what had been ordered. By the time we realised the other 2 weren't coming, the first 2 had gone cold and were taken away. When the meals did arrive, 1 hr 25 minutes after ordering, they were inedible. It was almost 9 pm and we left without eating.

Lovely setting on edge of Callander, next to Ben Ledi, Hotel is very comfortable, room was excellent, dinner was a pleasure, bar was cosseting, whisky choice excellent and local people were employed & were very hospitable. Review 37：when we got there management had no proof of our booking so had to wait till he sorted it out wanted us just to stay one night but we had booked for weekend as we were up to go to concert in Falkirk so he did at finish up let us stay weekend came back from concert to be locked out had to knock n knock to get in that was the downfall of the whole weekend

We were lucky that the weather was excellent and so able to have our evening meal outside, having the dog with us. An excellent spot for a few days in the Trossachs, and would come again
