Review 1：Very well looked after by the staff. Food was very good, be careful when ordering as we had too much to eat.! the "Meze to share" was enough on its own!! Then we had a main course each to follow........ whoops!!! The room was very good. Far enough out of Derby but close enough. Thanks!!

Review 10：The bubble inn was excellent, we would highly recommend. Service was amazing. Rooms were clean, nicely decorated and comfy. Tea, coffee in room. Bathroom was modern and the power shower was fab. Underfloor heating so was warm all night. We didn't eat tea here but had a few drinks and food coming out looked and smelt amazing. Breakfast was really nice. All the staff were attentive and so polite but the cleaning lady who has a farm round the corner really is a credit to the bubble inn. She went out of her way to show us round the family rooms (which by the way are brilliant) and told us all about the area so we could come back with our children. She is amazing and I hope she gets some praise xx Loved it here and will stay again definitely.

Review 31：A few hiccups at the start...The Bubble Inn didnt have a record of our stay so it took a while for staff to rectify situation. One of the staff wasn't very switched on and asked my name x four times, forgot drinks (think he was in training)

Review 32：Asst manager took over and was excellent at resolving situation and ensuring rest of evening (including food service and complimentary drinks) ran smoothly. Manager explained next day that they hadnt received booking notification and apologised. Spotless facilities, room was beautifully decorated, really comfortable

Review 35：We ate dinner there, meeting up with family who lived locally. My steak had absolutely no flavour whatsoever. Ordered sauce but this never came. This was the only thing that let our stay down, but it wouldn't stop me going back and staying/eating again. I did at least have the courtesy to mention the steak to the staff on the night, which I think is only fair when asked how was your food.

Review 37：We stayed here the night before a donington car experience, perfect location only 15 minutes drive to the racing course. The inn was lovely for location, the rooms are decorated to a high standard and excellent shower facilities. Our room opened out to our own courtyard area, we asked for a bottle of wine in the room which was ready for our arrival - perfect! We ordered food that evening in the restaurant, highly recommend! Food and service was excellent. Breakfast was served between 7.30-8.30 but we decided to have a lie-in instead. Highly recommend staying here.

Review 45：Friendly staff gave a warm welcome that continued throughout my stay. The food and real ale were excellent with a substantial breakfast. The room was a combination of olde world but with up to date facilities.

Review 48：Lovely modern room, recently decorated. A nice bed with a metal and brass headboard and foot - unusual in a hotel room. French doors onto it's own little patio in a courtyard with a table and chairs, screened from adjoining rooms - great idea! The bathroom is modern and very clean, walk-in shower etc. We had a problem in the morning with hot water but the manager was great, did her best to help and sort things out - these things happen, not her fault! We ate in the pub - nice food, good choice. The pub was quite noisy but our room was perfectly quiet.

Review 64：The breakfast was a joke. Scrambled eggs are not fried eggs mushed up, the single mushroom was cooked in old tasting oil. Staff had no idea what a green tea was. Bacon barely cooked. In the evening our first 4 choices of drinks from the list were unavailable and the choice from the bar varied from very ordinary to undrinkable.

Review 65：Clean and comfortable. Very stuffy room, couldn't open the window past a few inches. Fortunately a fan was provided which made the room bearable. No hot water in the middle of the day. Staff dealt with promptly but had to wait 3 hours for it to heat up.

Review 66：No major problem really - just a word of warning on breakfast as it was cooked breakfast only so might not suit everyone. Absolutely not a problem for me as I enjoy making the most of my stays in hotels, and the quality was very good. Orange juice could be improved but when it comes down to small details like that one on the negative side, you know it's a good hotel.

Nice bedroom, I was lucky to be on the courtyard's side so spent a bit of time sitting there reading and watching the peacocks on the roof! I am not sure that the bedrooms on the other side of the corridor (with windows on the car park) will be as nice. Food was very pleasant, no fuss but good hearty quality and good value (I had the mixed grill and there was so much I couldn't finish it). Staff very friendly.
