Reviews for Hôtel Le Goyen
Review 1:It would be prudent to check which Menu you are ordering Dinner from (a la carte or fixed price) to avoid any shocks later. The menus appear to merge into one! However the gourmet food is an exceptional experience but can be expensive. Ensure you get it right when ordering. The Restaurant staff were first class and amongst the best I have come across anywhere. I would highly recommend it.
Review 2:All the staff made us most welcome especially the owner (Sonia). Our room 215 was excellent and nicely furnished. The large bathroom was spacious and modern with a separate room for toilet and bidet. The gourmet restaurant was exceptional. Breakfast was very comprehensive and good value at €14 each.
Review 3:Breakfast and drinks were very expensive.
Review 4:The staff were very good polite and helpful, we had a room with a balcony and it was nice to sit in the sun and watch
Review 5:Only thing we didn't like was the odd plastic-sort of floor covering they have put everywhere. It seems an odd choice as part of such an expensive and effective renovation.
Review 6:Everything, which is why we stayed there again after a similarly happy stay last year. Staff unfailingly nice, food excellent, balcony views fun - and all really well renovated very recently. Very good value.
Review 7:Expensive breakfast - but local shops within 5 minute walk.
Review 8:Location, especially the rooms overlooking the river/harbour. Good centre for exploring Quimper, Point du Raz etc. Good choice of restaurants within a few minutes walk.
Review 9:The hotel is clean, comfortable and typically French. The staff are friendly and courteous. We were made to feel welcome. The restaurant is very good indeed.
Review 10:Nothing
Review 11:Truly helpful staff, little extras like teamaking facilities, excellent shower and lovely view. Food was second to none.
Review 12:Everything
Review 13:Stunning hotel, form the reception, to the common parts, to the room with the obviously recently refurbished bathrooms etc.
Review 14:Nothing!
Review 15:Fabulous location and the room was really great value for money - much better than a lot of 4* business hotels I've stayed in.
Review 16:Comfortable stay in a hotel with pleasant staff in a room overlooking the beautiful harbour.

Review 35:Well situated on waterfront with balconies and obliging room-service. Civilised, comfortable, friendly. Very good food in a lovely restaurant.
Review 36:It is expensive but worth it
Review 37:We have been several times before.Perfect for couples who want a break from it all. Wonderful places to see if you like the outdoors. The weekly market is only a few yards away. All the rooms overlook the fishing port. Staff are friendly and food is amazing
Review 38:Not a particularly nice place, rather run down but okay for an overnight, not very attractive really
Review 39:Good location, very nice staff, very reasonable price
Review 40:The hotel was clean and the room decently appointed. Good value although the hotel is at the top of what I would consider a reasonable price for what it offers. Staff were at first a bit distant but warmed up over time and obviously take pride in their professionalism and in maintaining a good hotel.
Review 41:A hospitality tray would be nice.
Review 42:Friendly and helpful staff. The room was nicely decorated in matchingtones and the balcony overlooking the port and equipped with table andchairs was a plus. The restaurant may be slightly upmarket but the foodis very good indeed & great value compared to Paris prices. Ifsomething less formal is preferred there are lots of creperies etc, close by. The situation of the hotel is perfect & we woulddefinitely return.
Review 43:Lack of a decent shower.
Review 44:Excellent location with a balcony overlooking the port, restaurant a little pretentious but plenty of places to eat round about. Good breakfasts and very friendly staff.
Review 45:Old fashioned hotel, with old fashioned room facilities and the hotel had a certain stiff formality. The bath without a shower curtain, so that you risk splashing the whole bathroom when showering. Old fashioned hot / cold water mixer with 2 faucets in the bath. No bedside table, and no place to but luggage except on the floor. Hotel restaurant expensive and with limited choices. However there are plenty of alternative eating options close by. Expensive for the room quality.
Review 46:Location. Close to bus stop centrally in Audierne, and restaurants and shops. Audierne is good base for many walks on Cap Sizun. Interesting location facing the fishing harbour. Interesting traditional decor of the room. Nice large luxurious bathroom. Good buffet breakfast with nice view from breakfast room. Perfectly nice hotel with friendly staff.
Review 47:A very comfortable older style of hotel. Very clean, very helpful staff and a most enjoyable experience.
Review 48:Breakfast was expensive.
Review 49:Very courteous staff. Good dinner menu.
Review 50:All great! Very good food in deed!
Review 51:Some very unfriendly staff.
