Reviews for Woodvale B&B
Review 1:Superb B&B. Alison runs this with warmth, charm and effortless ability. Great attention to detail, an accommodating nature and she cooks the best B&B full breakfast I've ever had. Thoroughly recommended.
Review 2:We stayed at the B&B for two nights. Alison was extremely nice and made us feel comfortable straight away. She gave us lots of good advice on what to do in the area and could not do enough to help us ! As we were going hiking she even lent us walking sticks and gave us tea to bring in a thermos. The room was very clean and comfortable, especially the bedlinen. The breakfast was excellent as well and very well organized. Thanks for everything Alison and we hope we will come back !
Review 3:A very enjoyable and comfortable place to stay. Friendly staff bent over backwards to help us - from doing the laundry to helping us get a flat tyre fixed locally without being overcharged.

Review 5:Alison was a most gracious, helpful, interesting and humorous host. Location was close to town, breakfasts were delicious, beds comfy and rooms updated & tidy. Loved.Loved.Loved everything! Thx for helping us celebrate our anniversary!
Review 6:The one thing I found disappointing was the size of the towels, bath sheets are a must in my opinion.
Review 7:The house was very well located a short distance from Balloch centre, Alison was very welcoming & helpful with suggesting places to see or eat at, and the room was spotless with a well stocked hostess tray. Breakfast was also excellent with a lovely dish of fruit to start with.
Review 8:We liked everything.
Review 9:Close to everything in Balloch. Alison was informative about Balloch and suggested a walk around the Castle Park which we enjoyed. She is very welcoming and keen to help in any way. Wonderful breakfast - we particularly liked the fresh fruit and appreciated that Alison was willing to fit in with our food preferences.
Review 10:Alison was most. Accommodating with helpful tips for hiking and a great place for dining We really would recommend this place as a base for the Loch Lomond area
Review 11:Warm,friendly welcome.Nothing was too much bother, even willing to make mw breakfast though it wasn't included in price.Personal bathroom was lovely. Heating was available if you wanted it.
Review 12:The whole experience was fantastic, we went to a wedding at Cameron house hotel and Alison could have taught them customer service skills
Review 13:Alison went the extra mile at every opportunity. We were attending a wedding and she offered a button hole. We went for a walk and she offered a cardigan.
Review 14:Location is near the balloch train station and Alison is very warm and nice person. Room is prepared with comfortable living facilities even with games for my kid. And Alison cooked us really amazing breakfast.

Review 19:Very happy with our stay. Friendly helpful owner of a well presented and well equipped B&B. Breakfast was lovely and we had our evening meal at a local restaurant that the owner recommended to us. We would certainly return again and would recommend this B&B to others who have high standards.
Review 20:Not a bad thing to say, all good!
Review 21:Alison was really friendly and gave us advice on the best walks. The guest house is ideally located...and the breakfast was gorgeous!
Review 22:The only weakness is the bathroom for my room is downstairs, so it is a little bit inconvenient at night. The other rooms does not have this issue.
Review 23:The hostess was very kind and the room is cozy. One of my best B&B experiences.
Review 24:That we didn't stay any more nights.
Review 25:The location was easy to get to from the train station, even with a buggy and luggage. The house was quaint, the room was very nice, the breakfast was excellent and the host was so charming and helpful.
Review 26:Very small attic bedroom at the top of a very steep staircase. Advertised as having a private bathroom on landing. The landing was down the steep stairs and though the hallway into the main part of the house. Hard to negotiate at 2am in your pyjamas. Room not suitable for solo senior travellers. It seems solo travellers are given accommodation suitable for children.
Review 27:Hostess very friendly and relaxed. Breakfast fresh and dining room very pleasant. Good location. Short walk to town centre, buses to Luss and Loch Lomond cruise services.
Review 28:A fantastic overnight stay very accommodating great room decor was light and modern towels very soft All in all faultless We booked with booking. Com and mistakingly never ordered breakfast but Alison overseen this by giving us a breakfast A fantastic guesture Looking forward to returning in the near future

Review 32:Can't think of anything I didn't like
Review 33:Everything was clean and tidy. I could have no complaints about the bed or any of the facilities. The breakfast was very tasty - we had a full Scottish and there was plenty of cereal and fresh fruit. The location of the B&B is perfect, just a short walk away from Loch Lomond and Balloch Country Park. There is a supermarket nearby and the cafes and restaurants are in easy reach. Alison the landlady is very cheery and welcoming, and saw to our every need.

Review 52:Alison was a great host. I picked this place due to the reviews about Alison's hospitality and I was not let down. The fact that she made us feel at home and customized our breakfast based on our likes and dislikes was amazing. We stayed in the attic of this quaint house and it was amazing. Sitting in the lawns in the evening, enjoying the walks to the town center was wonderful. It's 5 minutes from the center which is great and the location is quiet and calm. With young kids you need a quite place hence this was ideal. Would most definitely visit again if the opportunity arises
