Reviews for Millennium Hotel Paris Charles De Gaulle

Review 1:Wifi was terrible in the room as well as in the lobby. It was slow and constantly dropping out. Buffet breakfast was cold. Guinness at the Irish bar was very expensive and tasted like it was watered down.

Review 2:Free shuttles to CDG and Aeroville

Review 3:Very inaccessible rooms. Almost 150m walk after reaching my floor. Extremely dated rooms. Not well kept, bordering on dirty.

Review 4:The courteous front of house was extremely helpful. The hotel is well connected by the black line shuttle service. No dearth of toiletries in the rooms.

Review 5:Room was stinking of wee, I start to sneeze because there was dust all over the room. As I was only staying for few hours due to an early flight I didn't complain.

Review 6:Shuttle bus had no space for the huge number of suitcases people were trying to fit in. Reception was so slow (30 mins for about a dozen couples) that new shuttle bus load arriving before first even half dealt with. Got to bed at approx. 1 am (our time). Needs urgent updating - big holes in carpet in corridor (health and safety hazard). Crack in wash basin. Leak coming up from floor by toilet - wet feet in the night. Tiny pillows,

Review 7:Hotel must have been magnificent when first built and still some lovely features. Bed very comfortable - tea and coffee tray and kettle, unusual in France Shuttle bus on time for both journeys

Review 8:Very good hopper bus service, reception staff were very helpful excellent location complimentary bus service to shopping centre village in easy walking distance

Review 9:The room was old, dingy with badly stained carpets and odor There was no soundproofing so every bus/airport shuttle that passed or stopped was heard EVERY 20 MINUTES The footsteps and running water from the room above was also audible The quality of the food and food service was deplorable !

Review 10:the location and navette to airport

Review 11:Coordination between the staff is not enough! swimming pool was never open on time at 7:00 AM!

Review 12:The hotel has a swimmingpool and gym! some Breakfast tables have great garden view!

Review 13:Restaurant was closed. Prices of food and drinks in the Irish pub were well over priced. Toilets didn't flush properly. Asked for a double bed and had 2 singles pushed together instead. Only 3 pillows. One of the reception ladies was rude and didn't smile. No one had any manners. The airconditioning didn't have a cool, it was only hot. There was an alarm that went off, we had to ring reception to find out what was happening. We got woken up at 7am by reception with a 'wake up call' which we did not ask for.

Review 14:Free shuttle service from the airport Discount pamphlets Gym and pool Shower

Review 15:The wi-fi network dropped connections frequently and while staff knew about the problem they did not attempt to fix it or bring someone in to fix it. They acknowledge the problem and that was that. I don't blame the staff as much as I blame management for putting their staff in that position. The rooms were hot and the cooling system was not working well. Again staff acknoledge the problem but did nothing to correct it. The rooms were not clean thoroughly. Overall this was a very poor experience and I would not recommend it.

Review 16:Staff is not very friendly. Old-looking, mouldy, in dire need of renovation. Food at the irish bar was very limited and not good at all.

Review 17:Close to the airport. Only worth it if you get a big discount, and are only staying for a short stay.

Review 18:Very dated, window in my room had no latch to keep it closed so constant airplane noise. Worn out bathroom, chips out of the ceramic coating on bat showing rust.

Review 19:Its not too far from the airport, wifi was free

Review 20:Leakage of the toilets and door of the room not closing correctly. The corridors need refreshing!

Review 21:Big bedroom, Comfortable bed and good connection to airport

Review 22:Loved the free shuttle service, great location to get to places via the train services at the airport, lovely staff, the Irish pub made us feel very comfortable.

Review 23:In desperate need of some serious maintenance; carpet full of holes and filthy, furniture is covered in stains. Food served at Irish pub is average at best.

Review 24:Free transfer between airport and hotel is well organised. Hotel staff is friendly.

Review 25:The hotel advertised the restaurant being open at night when it wasn't. It was too far from the airport and the evening bar staff and bar food service were appalling.

Review 26:The room and beds were comfortable and we were exhausted.

Review 27:Whilst we were there the ceiling in the bathroom leaked and left dirt and water all over the floor and cracks in the ceiling... However the staff were lovely and sorted us with a new room to shower etc and were very apologetic X

Review 28:Clean and comfortable rooms and amazing value for money

Review 29:Really not sound proof: you can hear outside, landing planes, corridor, neighbours from above and below. Room 209.

Review 30:Free Shuttle bus to CDG airport is very convenient, free WiFi rather fast, breakfast good, hotel is rather worn out, but clean.

Review 31:1. WiFi would connect to the hotel server but not ever to the internet, and I was there for two days. Other guests I talked to had similar experiences. Reception called the hotel's "expert" but no improvement ever occurred. 2. Not always enough staff at reception (try to pay your bill at 2 a.m. to avoid massive lines). 3. Sauna was closed. 4. Swimming pool water could have been a bit warmer. 5. Food was OK but was a bit overpriced, and there aren't many restaurants nearby except at other hotels: prepare to pay airport prices at any of them.

Review 32:1 Convenient location near CDG Paris airport (very easy access by car; shuttle bus also but slow and stops at many other hotels). 2. Decent-sized rooms, reasonably well maintained. Windows that open. 3. Spa and fitness area and swimming pool. area. 4. Fully accessible-no stairs anywhere except for access to spa and fitness area. 5. Windows that face the street have bright streetlights shining on the bed. I asked for and the staff found me a dark room facing the back, which was much more pleasant. (Room was identical, view far better.)

Review 33:Swimpool was dirty and the water could, and the temperature of the room was even lower than the water. Staff cannot speak fluent English. Explanation about parking place outside and inside was not clear at all. Ask for a cappuccino nobody can help me with that, after 10min I get a phone call in my room, was from the room service telling me that I can get a cappuccino after 30 minutes in my room. I work myself as manager in 4star hotel and I know exactly what service is, this hotel was a totally disappointing for don't say a disaster!

Review 34:The photos from the website and the actual hotel is totally different. Called for service but the person never showed up after waiting for several hours. subsequent call was never picked up by the reception.

Review 35:Not too far from the hotel and the price

Review 36:Wifi slow and TV did not work; need brighter lights in room. Key cards often did not function properly to operate elevator.

Review 37:Excellent place to stay near Airport and the shuttle (Black Line Bus) makes airport travel easy and convenient. Very good breakfast, hotel tastefully appointed and Irish Pub had appetizing dinners. Staff always helpful and welcoming, room spacious with large desk and table - a great choice!

Review 38:The WiFi connection very poor above ground level. A/C heating non existent in the room.

Review 39:The breakfast was great value and a bathtub in the bathroom was excellent for weary bodies.

Review 40:crowded breakfast area, hard to find a place to sit down. Window in room didn't close, though it was supposed not to open, next to the airport and motorway this is not so pleasant! Overall the hotel needs to be refurbished.

Review 41:Good location, good parking facility

Review 42:They will charge you extra to get into the room before 14:00 - not a good policy for an airport hotel. If you take the hotel shuttle, although it is close it will take a solid 20 minutes of travel.

Review 43:Although an older hotel and some things are worn, the bathroom was a good size and everything was clean.

Review 44:Room had no drinking water, the bar was closed when I arrived I could not get any food...the bathroom was not clean and the whole room and bathroom were very tired...definitely would not stay there again!

Review 45:Rooms smell and they are dirty (carpets, walls) with old furniture, in the first room there was a bad smell, in the second it was better but still not 100% good..old furniture in bathroom

Review 46:Location is good, there is also a shuttle connection to CDG airport - takes 20 minutes.

Review 47:The breakfast buffet was a little pedestrian and I'm still waiting to hear back about the computer mouse I left in my room.

Review 48:Comfortable bed, spacious room, huge bath, free shuttle to Charles de Gaulle airport - what more could you ask for?

Review 49:The room was not acceptable. Mold and Mildew especially around the window creating an health issue. Wallpaper that comes of the wall at the seams.more mold and mildew in the Bathroom. We tried, shortly after we arrived to change our 2 night reservation into just one night, but the hotel declined our request and told us, we can leave but they will not credit anything because we booked with booking.com.We tried to be fair offering staying the first night. At check-out we were charged for breakfast that was already included in our room price. They eventually took it off but make us proof that the booking included breakfast. Not a pleasant thung to do to look for documents in the packed bags, ready for a transatlantic flight.

Review 50:Location and the airport shuttle service are nice.

Review 51:I have a clear reservation by Booking.com,but after arrival I have to wait more then half an hour for my room. Room was very old fashioned and in very bad condition. I don't understand why this hotel has 4 stars.

Review 52:Nothing

Review 53:Very outdated and old fashioned hotel. The lifts are beyond despair. Rooms stink of damp and mould. Bathrooms are no better. Pay extra and go elsewhere. Only the lobby is good all else is a fail.

Review 54:Very poor bar restaurant service, apart from two of the waiters that were able to smile the rest of the bar staff did not seem to be interested in providing a service. Long wait at the bar before anyone took our order.

Review 55:The carpets and the walls in the hotel are old and tired and smell stale. It was such a contrast from the foyer. Yes I know that I could complain about the smell but it was everywhere in the hallway - it was not in my room. It was dismal.

Review 56:I like the enterance way - foyer - it is nice and welcoming and big. It reminds me of Paris

Review 57:It still takes awhile to get to/from the airport and the shuttle only runs every 30 minutes and in the morning, it was so full many of us had to wait until the next shuttle. Be sure to leave extra time to get there.

Review 58:Great breakfast buffet, very comfortable bed, included a shuttle, and really good customer service. Really good value!

Review 59:-Old carpet I didn't want to walk on, barefoot -No shower head holder -Remote TV did not work

Review 60:-quality mattress & beddings -Windows opened, which provided me a better sleep -breakfast included -very good breakfast buffet

Review 61:No air conditioner (after Oct1). Windows don't open (locked "for security") room temp was 29 Celsius (80 F) during the night. No fan available. Mold all around bathtub and toilet. TV reception (12 channels) looked like they hooked up rabbit ears. We thought the Ibis Budget at CDG was bad, but the Millenium was worse yet. Use only if all other hotels are full.

Review 62:10 minute ride on black shuttle from CDG. Prepared to-go bag for early departure, before 06:00.

Review 63:Poor service Room has several discrepanies They lost one of my shirtsthe day I asked not to have room serviced. It also smelled like someonewas smoking in room.

Review 64:Somewhat quiet

Review 65:Room was worn. Furniture tattered and scuffed. Bath fixtures worn down to base metal (stainless steel surface scrubbed away over years of cleaning). Orange mould/mildew in caulking all around sink and mirror. Water pressure in shower poor. Wake-up call did not arrive.

Review 66:Bar was good. Lobby was nice. Staff was friendly. Convenient to airport.

Review 67:Neglected and old. Although clean the property is old and in dire need of an overhaul. Wallpapers and carpets are of a poor standard. Passages to rooms are warmer than a Turkish steambath. Rooms are old and would be best suited for an 80's feature film!

Review 68:Good proximity to CDG airport and frequent shuttle buses allow you to take airport train to Paris city center.

Review 69:Couldnt quite understand why housekeeping wanted to clean the room at 10 am when we werent checking out until 12

Review 70:Closeness to the village of Roisseypole and midday checkout is great

Review 71:I did not like seeing the smashed wooden door jam in my suite. What else can one think except a break in occurred.

Review 72:Simple to leave from CDG to hotel by shuttle. Irish pub inside hotel. Ate in the dining room for dinner. Thus,no need to do go anywhere if you just want to take it easy for the night.

Review 73:Went for my 30th birthday and it just y my experience of Paris lush loved the hotel very posh and nice to stay will be going again also the place where I got engaged

Review 74:Was disgusting hotel, mould everywhere, in the corridors, bathroom.Window sill was all cracked. Rock hard bed, didn't sleep allweekend. Staff rude and charged me even more than what I should of paid.Do not stay here!! €55 to Eiffel Tower!

Review 75:Were given room 208. Went up to the room and the lights were flickering, the sheets were strewn about, water was running, and there was garbage. The room hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant...

Review 76:Cheap and close to airport

Review 77:Do not take the Shuttle to go there if you just want some rest after a long flight ( it takes for ever. It comes around every 45 min to 60 min after 5 pm ) on the web site sais every 15 min. Not even close. Much better take a taxi it cost me 10 euros and I was there in 5 min afther a long trip it's defenatly worth it .

Review 78:Good breakfast lost of choices but stop at 10 am

Review 79:The staff was not helpful no service mind at all.Wifi was not stable. The carpet were very dirty. It's 2 star hotel not 4 star hotel.Outside look good but in room very dirty.

Review 80:Access control not explained. Had to rigmarole before locating the room on the 1st floor

Review 81:Bed is comfy and room is very clean. Toilet is equally clean. Well lighted.

Review 82:We had reserved 3 rooms and when we checked in we were told that one of the rooms was cancelled - although I was holding my confirmation for 3 rooms. They told us the hotel was overbooked but when we looked on line, rooms were available. We told them rooms were available and they told us that we had to wait 40 minutes while the shift changed. NOT WORTH THE HASSEL

Review 83:Location to the airport

Review 84:The room was very comfortable and not confining. The people at the front desk were helpful in explaining the free shuttle service and which terminal to get off for our flight. The van came as scheduled to the hotel.

Review 85:it took them showing me 3 rooms befroe I got a room that did not have another guest in it or smell of cigar smoke. the food in the restraunt was cold when they served it. teh aiter was more conserned with watcing the rugdy match on tv than servering my food.

Review 86:The window wouldnt close properly so the room was noisy, the breakfast is a bun fight with food running out all the time. Outrageous price for the quality because the EquipeAuto fair was on

Review 87:Location, the Irish pub

Review 88:very dirty rooms, sheet and pillow cases smelled horribly bad, some pubic hair in bed, had to sleep with my cloth on , and on top of a towel, , also very smelly rooms

Review 89:nothing

Review 90:Near airport but not direct shuttle bus, finding shuttle pick up no easy task, unless arriving/departing from terminal 2D. This could be a lot clearer - would be same for other handful of hotels on the shared shuttle.

Review 91:Comfy bed.

Review 92:Waiting for the bus at the airport, 1 hour delay.

Review 93:The restaurant / Irish Pub was enjoyable, the staff was courteous and the shuttle to the airport was timely.

Review 94:Our room had to be changed 3 times! It took over an hour to check in. The keys did not work in the elevator, staff were rude and food was cold. We waited over an hour for food from the bar and it was still not hot after being sent back 3 times. The hotel is run down and very dirty. The windows were rotting and there was black mould in all the bathrooms.

Review 95:The mattresses were comfortable

Review 96:The shuttle bus was supposed to run every 30 minutes. I waited 45 at the airport. It didn't actually drop you back at terminal 1, it dropped you at the station where you then had to get the train to the Terminal.

Review 97:There were options of where to eat within the hotel.

Review 98:It is near to the airport, there is a shuttle every 15-20 minutes, so it is easy to get to the hotel and to the city centre. The welcome present in our room was great, internet connection also fine. The room was clean and nice. We like the Irish pub in the hotel, food is delicious.

Review 99:I booked and paid more then other hotel to benefit of z sauna and wn i wanted to use it they said its broken since one year ago and can not ne used

Review 100:The staff were friendly roome are bigand clean

Review 101:We had two rooms, both had no air conditioning and dirty. We asked for help and got nothing. After three phone calls I went down in p. J's to lobby. They saidf for another 158 euros they would move us. I said no way and asked for manager. They then moved us to new rooms but still dirty but cooler rooms. Certainly not to your standard of rating. It is about a 1 star and not as nice as an old motel 6.

Review 102:No much. Lobby looked nice and breakfast was good

Review 103:Rooms need updating. No air conditioning as of October 1, only heat. Windows don't open.

Review 104:We needed a room for one night prior to our return trip and the hotel offered shuttle service. Breakfast was very good and varied.

Review 105:Room was hot, (~80 degrees F.) Air conditioner does not cool in "winter season," starting Oct. 1. Window did not open---so no possibility to cool down the room. Person checking us in was sour, seemed annoyed to have to bother with us.

Review 106:I asked to see a manager--unfortunately, did not get his name. He was extremely understanding and helpful, and moved us to a room with a window that opened, so we could get some relief from the hot room. Otherwise, would not have been able to sleep there.

Review 107:Staff not very friendly and rooms are just adequate. Plus we were not able to get our shower working, maybe human error, but all the same - looks like push a button for shower, and nothing happened.

Review 108:The location is good.

Review 109:No working computers here. Ground floor looks nice. All the rest needs a serious face lift.

Review 110:Great food in the restaurant, but it was closed without notice our second night so had to eat across the street. Beds comfy and bathroom nice. Free shuttle (black line) to airport and another shuttle to shopping center

Review 111:Dining room was closed, the lounge was closed, the sauna was closed, swimming pool was cool, management and staff in Irish Pub very poor.

Review 112:location to airport, including shuttle.

Review 113:first room has terrible smell of cigarette smoke, switched to another one with lesser smell...garage parking was like a dungeon, terrible looking for this hotel, need to spend some funds to renovate the garage.

Review 114:distance from the airport

Review 115:This Hotel is completely run down. Mold on the windows and bathrooms, holes in ceiling, wall paper peeling, cigarette smoke smell throughout the hallways and rooms, carpets were filthy. This location is a disgrace to the chain and needs a complete up grade.

Review 116:Meal at bar. Was expensive and rather bad piece of steak. For less I had an amazing larger piece of steak in paris. The restaurant sign had open. When clearly closes. Corridor and walls etc look a little bit tired holes in carpet where I tripped.

Review 117:Foyer. Room size.

Review 118:the Irish Pub attached to hotel is very ordinary food

Review 119:Layout of room, ambience of hotel, service. fittings top notch. We were very happy with the hotel overall and have booked it for an other night on our return to Paris

Review 120:We got there at about 11pm. The kitchen was meant to close at 11:30, but closed early. They didn't even have snack food in the minibar. It was quite annoying, as we were so hungry.

Review 121:It was comfortable for 1 night and conveniently located close to the airport.

Review 122:. . . our favourite game at breakfast was "hunt the un-chipped mug" - they were dreadful! Only one day out of three did we find two mugs without chipped rims.

Review 123:Good location with reliable shuttle to CDG at a terrific price. Comfortable big room, good bed, well serviced and clean. Good breakfast, but . . . . .

Review 124:I had to change rooms three times to find a room with working A.C. I hated the sealed windows that used to open and allow from air. Was charged for early occupation and spent the time changing rooms, without an offer of reimbursement

Review 125:One of the worst places that I have stayed in my 46 years of traveling. Fifthly, front desk rating very bad, We wee bitten by some kind of bug in the bed. Carpets and walls Fifthly!!!!

Review 126:location

Review 127:Day time reception staff.. 2 females were not pleasant.

Review 128:Night reception staff was incredible. Very comfortable rooms and the staff was going above and beyond in the service

Review 129:We were going to the Airport Before the shuttle started, so we asked the receptionist to book us a taxi. Proved to be a private car, who charged us 25 euro for a five minute trip. They were probably cousines... Not OK!

Review 130:Lack of hair dryer, very sparse bathroom soap, amenities. "Irish" pub was a real let-down. Very poor food, definitely not Irish. Very inferior quality to almost any restaurant in France.

Review 131:Comfortable bed, good pillows, good location.

Review 132:Other than the lobby the hotel was threadbare. The pool was very nice but the dressing room was old and ill equipped. There was only soap in the room... No creams, hair conditioner, hair dryer. Only one pathetic pillow was on the bed. When I asked for more they brought 2 with no pillowcases. Breakfast left much to be desired.

Review 133:Location was excellent
