Reviews for Le Parc Hôtel, Restaurants & Spa
Review 1:This is a wonderful place to stay and use as a home base to explore the wine areas. The hotel does a wonderful job in having a very clean facility with great staff. Highly recommended.
Review 2:Sometimes I get the impression that clients from Booking.com do not get the best rooms. We have asked very long ago, for a room on the upper floor, but did not get it.
Review 3:Excellent Spa hotel with good facilities, indoor, outdoor swimming pools, etc. The hotel is 1 km from centre town, and uphill coming back, a fit far out of town for us, but easy walking
Review 4:They did put out key in the wrong cubby hole which cased a bit of a worry but it just proved they were human!
Review 5:The junior suite was huge and perfect for us...the staff jolly and helpful, the two pools, bar and breakfast were first class!
Review 6:We stayed three nights and ate in each time as we couldn't be bothered to go into town at night Obernai, a great place to visit.) The menu never changed nor had specials. Choice limited to about five or six plates; you cannot order two courses withut paying for the third -- we rarely eat three courses these days. So a very average restaurant for this category of hotel, run by excellent staff with a sadly poor and expensive product.
Review 7:The room was pleasant, comfortable with a good sitting area and balcony. The staff were very helpful.
Review 8:Breakfast closes at 10 a bit early. The room bathroom need to be refreshed. The breakfast is a bit expensive.
Review 9:The spa and the breakfast are fantastic. The staff is very nice. The restaurant is great.
Review 10:The Spa - for which I came in first place - consists of a pool in a very dark aerea. There was one sauna which fits 2 people or four if you like to feel like a fish in a can. The fitness room had the size of my bath room and from the total of three machines to work out one was out of order. I would never recommend this Hotel to someone looking for a wellness weekend.
Review 11:Overall the hotel (Rest, Bar, Room) are nice. Food was okay for the money. The chef de service a bit snoby. The Spa is poor, there is not enough parking and the little Restaurant called Stub is very noisy. Breakfast for 22 EUR a bit on the high side for what you get.
Review 12:Standard rooms (two lowest categories) are really small and, at least for a longer stay, it is very recommendable to have a higher range.
Review 13:Beautiful house in nice surroundings close but outside the touristic area (old city center) giving the chance to sleep in the evenings. Excellent staff speaking also English, breakfast tasty but a bit expensive, swimming-pool area comfortable with several saunas. Parking OK. We liked it all, after being able to find different places, our room, SPA, reception, breakfast hall in this big house with a lot of corridors, staircases etc.
Review 14:Small bathroom, tolerable flow of water in the douche but not more than that, certainly diminishes the pleasure of having a good shower. Drainage is also tolerable. A/C in the hotel was off, so had to go to sleep with the windows open...
Review 15:Very nice hotel, nicely designed. We enjoyed our room. Spa is very good. Excellent restaurant for a dinner.
Review 16:However, we have noticed that the quality and creativity of the chef seems to be decreasing. Some of the dishes are the same or are to standard for the level or restauration experience that the hotel trys to offer.
Review 17:Great place where we like to spend some weekends. The restaurant is one of the reasons for nice stay in this hotel
Review 18:Not inexpensive but worth it for the facilities.
Review 19:Superb food and the room for a family of four was perfect. Restaurant was lovely and all the staff were superb.
Review 20:The ridiculously expensive breakfast, which would buy an evening meal at many hotels.
Review 21:Imaginative and delicious restaurant food with excellent service, if rather expensive.
Review 22:Breakfast was way too expensive
Review 23:Staff were excellent
Review 24:Everything - stayed before and is still as good. Spa area is lovely and hotel is extremely well run.
Review 25:Nice and simple hotel with kind staff. It fitted us perfectly
Review 26:Great Breakfast. Good rooms amd parking.
Review 27:The aircon worked very well and was most welcome as the outside temperature was over 40 degrees
Review 28:Outstanding breakfast selection and quality, hotel character.
Review 29:Excellent Room and swimming pool, location.
Review 30:I thought the reception staff were a bit cold .
Review 31:I loved the location for running in the park , walking to town , the pool area was nice even if small
Review 32:Horrible WIFI. Really, for so much money in such a nice hotel we expect better.
Review 33:breakfast
Review 34:Arriving on a hot day ,and to be provided with all the essentials for a nice swim in their outdoor pool.
Review 35:Everything. The hotel was delightful!
Review 36:Proximity to town centre and luxury facilities
Review 37:Humidor room, spa, fire in bedroom, very quiet location just out of town.
Review 38:The spa facilities are outdated and do not match the quality of the rest ofthe hotel
Review 39:The rooms, the restaurants, the bar, the food and teh location
Review 40:High quality & service level Nice pools - in and outside Excellent breakfast
Review 41:Nothing
Review 42:The decor, the food, the room, the garden but most of all the staff. Absolutely wonderful.
Review 43:This was our third outing to the Alsatian region this year, with LeParc representing the crown of them all. This from an atmosphere, gastronomic and friendliness point of view. Outstanding! Keep it up!
Review 44:1) "existing" fitness room is very very poor, actually a bit of a joke 2) value for money is poor (compared to other hotels in similar price range) 3) poor wifi depending on location in building
Review 45:1) good ambience 2) very nice building
Review 46:We had a double bed suite. But it was twin beds put side by side with hole in the middle and not a double bed. Disappointing given we had expressly asked for a proper double bed.
Review 47:Pool. Gardens. Breakfast room. Dining options. All fabulous. Staff ally helpful. Parking good and plenty of it. Nice walk to town.
Review 48:Breakfast overpriced.
Review 49:Not a cheap hotel but well worth the money. The restaurant was really good but closed on sundays and mondays. However Obernai city center is 10 minutes of walking and the hotel personel has good restaurant recovery mmendations. The spa is nice and they are child friendly. In short it was a very satisfactory short stay for us...
Review 50:The prices for the services are too expensive. In addition the breakfast fast is not included, it costs 21 Euros per person, definitely too expensive when you paid more than 200 Euros for an executive room!
Review 51:The place is nice and romantic for a couple. It can be good for families as well.
Review 52:Staff were laconic, slow in serving. Food was very expensive for what you got. Rooms were a little small for the price.
Review 53:Attractive hotel, nice garden, short walk into town.
Review 54:Rooms are not super modern and in some cases are a bit dated, but it all works somehow and is a part of the charm. The "spa" is one element of the hotel, it's not huge bit it's nice.
Review 55:Hotel is super charming, plots of parking and the staff is top notch. The restaurant options are awesome too.
Review 56:Absolutely nothing.
Review 57:This hotel transcended all our expectations. Beautiful room, superb beds, excellent amenities, exceedingly helpful staff and just a leisurely five minute stroll to the delights of the town of Obernai. The only aspect we cannot comment on is the restaurant since, on seeing a Chinese restaurant just a few yards away and loving Chinese food, we decided to eat oriental. The decision proved to be correct in every way. The staff welcomed us as though we were family and the chef/owner provided the best Chinese food we have had for a long time at an extremely economical cost. We have promised ourselves that we shall return to both the hotel and the Chinese restaurant at some future date.
Review 58:The staff was friendly, helpful and first rate. The hotel is well situated, closed to Strasbourg, Route des Cretes and Route des Vins. Obernai is a charming little city!
Review 59:Despite we had a junior suite, there was not much daylight, in mid-August
Review 60:Outside pool area. Close to the village (Obernai) Good WiFi connectivity and performance
Review 61:Definetely not on the "cheap" side
Review 62:Really good dinner at the gourmet restaurant, and great breakfast! Room (deluxe) was spacious and country/mountain style like and the facilities of the hotel were really nice
Review 63:Me and my friend were on a combined business trip and holiday and had a few issues of wich one to be honest were beyond the control of the hotel. If however you’re dependent on wifi for vacation planning or as in our case for work, you cannot count on it to work in your room, and not necessarily even in the reception. We were told that a technician was to address the problem but there was no improvement during our stay.
Review 64:Basically a very charming hotel!
Review 65:Nothing.
Review 66:Beautiful hotel, large, stylish room, pool, parking, short walk to town centre.
Review 67:Friendly ownership, great food, happy staff, and excellent facilities (pool, spa)
Review 68:wrong bill in restaurant -(higher amount), which was corrected.
Review 69:location, facilities, standard, pool
Review 70:Gym was not fully functional, no fridge or coffee facilities in the room.
Review 71:The staff where very very friendly the food was great, spa was excellent.
Review 72:The bed had two mattresses. A couple can not really lie together. The bed is confortible if everyone lies on his on half.
Review 73:Friendly but totally professional staff
Review 74:Room a bit on the small side.
Review 75:Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant and breakfast. Quiet location with great atmosphear.
