Reviews for Souleias

Review 1:Nothing really to complain about. The dinner is a bit expansive but tasted awesome and the breakfast was allright but nothing special.

Review 2:The hotel is lovely, the staff really friendly, the view and the pool are gorgeus, close to the beach and great parking.

Review 3:You have to pay extra for the WiFi.

Review 4:Staff makes you feel like you are the most precious guest ever. Stunning view from the swimming pool and the restaurant. Excellent service and food in the restaurant.

Review 5:The rooms are old, and really need an upgrade Some rooms don't have airconditioning or fans and it's just too hot in summer without. Check this in room booking The gardens could do with a good landscape

Review 6:The rooms were immaculately clean The view is beautiful and the walk down the hill to the beach is worth the view The staff are very friendly and helpful

Review 7:The AC unit was old, made lots of noise and didn't properly cool the room.

Review 8:Fantastic location. Clean, confortable, nice people... Wonderful pool, with a bar... Great hotel, particularly for the summer...

Review 9:The location is perfect and offers splendid views. It is also away from the daily traffic jams along the bay of st.tropetz, which is within easy reach via a small winding road.

Review 10:We travelled from Rome to Saint Tropez which took around 10 hours+,after we arrived around 5pm the first thing that we asked after checking in was could we arrange to have dinner in which we were told it was not possible! Now I wouldn't have minded but my partner was 6 months pregnant and was very tired and slightly fatigued but after explaining our situation they still were not willing to help. I found them to be very unhelpful and unsympathetic. The room was dirty cramped and definitely not worth €161 euros whatever you do don't stay in room 9!! After we made a complaint about the room we got a reduction in the price of 5%.

Review 11:The breakfast was really nice and good location.

Review 12:Room was quite small, even though we paid for an upgrade. One of the worst hotel breakfasts I've had. Hardly any choice. Had to pay extra for an omelete that I could hardly eat. Pastries tasted old. There were blood stains all over our balcony floor, table and chairs. I still wonder what actually happened in there.... We had to leave early so never got the chance to ask/raise it with the hotel staff...

Review 13:Beautiful view overlooking the ocean. Watching the stars at the terrace whule tasting local beers was lovely too.

Review 14:At the restaurant they act like in a 5* hotel and also the prices are way too high, while the food isn't great at all. Most of the staff treated 'well dressed' people much better than normal ones. Air conditionning costed 300.- extra but stopped working in half if our stay, we didn't get the money back. Prices per night are way too high.

Review 15:The view is amazing

Review 16:The beds could have been more comfy. And it would have been useful to have WiFi for rebooking the flights, but the hotel staff sorted this small inconvenience for us.

Review 17:The staff. The hotel. The food. The view. The gardens. The pool. The quick walk to the beach. The beach and its restaurants. We felt we had gone back in time, to a charming, unspoilt place, and we liked it!

Review 18:We went in June the pool bar didn't open until July which seemed crazy as there were plenty of guests, seems like a real wasted opportunity from the hotels perspective and an annoyance for the guests. A very formal restaurant which was not our thing but it is a "posh" hotel. Our son had a separate room 7 which really was pretty basic and a bit tired with poor aircon.

Review 19:We stayed in room 4, a small suite, with a large balcony overlooking the pool and bay.. It was a lovely room with a bath and a shower no complaints at all. Lovely swimming pool plenty of comfortable sunbeds. Lovely inclusive breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the bay.

Review 20:It was at the top of the hill and a little confusing to find at first but the views were worth it!!!

Review 21:Staff was awesome. Booked last minute while traveling. There were only 2 available and manager gave us the larger room without charging us more. They were really polite nice and filled us in on everything we wanted to know. I would recommend!!!

Review 22:The room was 3rd rate and the bed was the worse we slept on during a 6 week trip in France. So that makes it the worse bed in France - hard as a rock, way way too small and a pillow no better than a sandbag.

Review 23:The setting is sensational, the pool and outside bat excellent, the dining area, particularly the outside dining area is fantastic. The area is quiet and away from the maddening crowds that generally choke this region at the peak of summer. So thumbs up on these scores.

Review 24:The room was too small. Dead flowers on the terrace were a disappointing contrast to the perfect sceneray

Review 25:Breathtaking view and fantastic pool side facilities. Beautiful outdoor bar and restaurant. The cuisine is correct and the pianist will entertain you all through the evening with all your favourite songs.

Review 26:The double bed is not big. Nothing near the hotel. A bit far away from the downtown Saint Tropez.

Review 27:The swimming pool, the terrace for breakfast, the outdoor dining area facing the lawn & ocean which gave a relax environment of the stay.

Review 28:We were in hotel Souleais third time in the last 6 years and we were always absolutely excited of the view of the see. The gastronomy is perfekt too. We love this hotel.

Review 29:Drinks from the bar too expensive.

Review 30:Super hotel with fantastic view. Service very good and we were upgraded because we had a baby. Excellent breakfast which is included in the room rate.

Review 36:Great pool. Terrific location and view from the hotel. Stylish hotel and lovely garden.

Review 37:had to wait for the room for 2 hours, communication skills of staff, medium breakfast, no children services

Review 38:location, environment, pool, room comfort

Review 39:Standard of the room was bad and no AC. The poolarea was good as well as the locantion and the view.

Review 40:No free wi fi

Review 41:L'emplacement, la piscine, la belle vue.

Review 51:Amazing location with spectacular views. Friendly staff Clean

Review 52:Splendid breathtaking view.so romantic!

Review 53:Double bed is small. Furniture in the room seems old.

Review 54:Terrence with beautiful ocean view

Review 55:WiFi only via a paying Orange service

Review 56:Great setting Intimate small scale hotel Short walk from beach Good food

Review 57:I would have preferred a room with air conditioning; a bit unhappy with the wholesale closing of facilities tor residents during private parties. the dining room is one thing and understandable but not the pool.

Review 58:The views, the ambiance, the food, the weather, the opportunity to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings

Review 59:Wonderful position overlooking the bay standard of decor has improved as has the breakfast with more choice available staff all were friendly and helpful food was of a high standard and a similar high price to everywhere along this coast now overall a very enjoyable stay in this simple but beautiful restaurant with rooms and a lovely pool area

Review 60:The cost of evening meals. We have stayed at this hotel at least fourtimes now, always previously on a half board arrangement. The hotel hasnow gone away from this and has a range of evening menus ranging from 48Euros to 78 Euros. We ate in the hotel only once as we did not find themeals to be good value for money as they always used to be at thishotel. Only two other tables were occupied, which speaks for itself. Also the quiet, peaceful area around the pool was spoilt by peoplehaving long conversations on their mobile phones. I think this areashould be made a mobile phone free area.

Review 61:The lovely location overlooking the sea. The lovely gardens that therooms are situated around. The lovely comfortable area around the pool.

Review 62:Very old and dirty carpet in the room, wood or stone would be much beter, bed is a bit to short for Nord Europeans.

Review 63:Great view and exellent restaurant

Review 64:The view

The Fine Print

Please note that pets are allowed in the hotel, but not in the restaurant and around the pool.
