Review 1：Only one negative and that was the soundproofing between adjoining doors(at least in our room which had that facility if required) although the staff accepted this and dealt with it accordingly.

Review 2：Every thing that was on offer was excellent ,food ,comfort ,convenience to Elgin centre but especially the friendlyness of the staff.

Breakfast on conservatory overlooking garden was a nice touch. Directly opposite train station which was very handy for most of our group too.

Review 24：For the money I paid which was a couple of pounds off a Hilton hotel room I would have expected a shower rather than a shower head attached to a bath: with no shower screen it made it very awkward. Room was very basic but the bed was comfy.

One guy in particular did his best to help us at 12.30 in the mornin when the railway was digging through the night and the noise was terrible, we got an offer of 2 other rooms and delt with it very well. Review 47：I visited Elgin with my boyfriend and although we didn't like the place much, we were absolutely satisfied with the hotel. Our room was very comfortable (I would say one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in) and very clean. Everyone in the staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel's location is nice and it's quite easy to get to the city centre on foot. The breakfast was very good and although we didn't have the chance to try any other meals, we tried the special menu for Valentine's day and I must admit that the food was delicious! This hotel is an excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend that!

Review 50：Stopped here for one night on business. A very nice hotel. Extremely friendly welcome. Comfy bed. Very clean. All you want. It's rated as a 3 star which is a fair rating. A good value simple menu in the restaurant as well with all the classic pub grub type meals. Just what you want after a long day in the car.

Review 51：The facilities were excellent except that the shower was in the bath with no rubber mat for safety, resulting in me slipping and falling into the bath breaking my ribs.This prevented me from visiting my friends and family.I thought a reduction of my Bill would have been in order.Although I will return but with an en-suite with a shower cubicle.

Review 53：I slept in the most uncomfortable bed ever. The room was part of a family room where children had been sleeping. They had obviously been jumping on the bed until all the springs were broken, which I didn't discover until I went to bed. Consequently I did not have a wink of sleep the first night. However, the mattress was changed the next day, which was a vast improvement. Perhaps staff should check mattresses when children are sleeping in rooms of their own, as jumping on beds is one of their favourite occupations! Perhaps parents would take more notice if they were charged for a new mattress, or asked to sleep in the bed their child/children had been occupying!

Review 75：NO LIFT - very disappointing for a three storey hotel, I was a lead of four senior ladies,(2x70+, 80 and 90.) and we found the stairs a big problem, we requested two twin rooms together/adjoining or near and we were on two different floors.

Review 98：A warm welcome to a very conveniently and well appointed hotel. It was great for our french only speaker in the group that one of the staff, Chloe, was prepared to speak in french - it really made a big difference to our French guest.
