Surrounded by 60 hectares of vineyards, Château Pape Clément, Grand Cru Classé of Graves, is located 5 miles from the heart of Bordeaux. Part of the castle was built in the 16th-century and guests can sample 13th-century wines at an extra cost. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

Review 2：The service especially daytime manager/butler was phenomenal. Breakfast was always timely and more than we expected, delicious and in a dining room fit for royalty.. Our every wish was fulfilled. The wine tasting was excellent but my favorite activity was tour of the chateau and the beautiful grounds. We enjoyed every aspect of our visit to France and Chateau Pape Clement and hope to return soon.

Review 5：Service was not genuine and lacking. Bathroom, although beautiful, did not have shower. WiFi did not work and no attempts were made to fix the problem. Rather limited breakfast, not even cheese was offered.

Review 9：Top of the line experience from beautiful historical chateau, amazing staff, delicious breakfast, to the small touches and room amenities like coffee machine in the room, bathroom supplies, robes and slippers, comfortable bed, everything. The beautiful vineyard surroundings and wine tasting tour (extra cost but worth it) was great as well. The wine is very good. Conveniently close to airport and short drive to city of Bordeaux.

Review 10：The visit of the domain and the vineyard and the desgustation were very good. But what we really enjoyed was our night at the castle. We have been fabulously welcomed by David who showed us the different rooms of the castle. It is really beautiful, with a lot of history as showed with a lot of of painting and documents. The bedroom was fabulous with view on the garden. The view on the rooftop is amazing. A real fairy tail...

Review 13：The lovely lady who greeted us, recommended a restaurant, and served us breakfast was incredibly sweet and made us feel so welcome. Spacious, beautifully decorated room. Close to the Bordeaux airport.

Review 14：All was wonderful during our visit. No A/C was fortunately not a problem since we visited in early June. I suspect lack of A/C may be a drawback for some during Summer.

Review 15：Staying in the home of the man who, when elected Pope, moved the seat of the Catholic Church from Rome to Avignon. Breakfast in a private dining room fit for royalty. Looking out over vineyards that have produced fine Bordeaux wines for 700 years.

Review 18：Staff was incredible, very attentive and always there before we even needed them. Breakfast was amazing. We had our own private breakfast hall and ate at a large long table (like kings). The room was decorated with beautiful old furniture.

Review 23：A grand chateau surrounded by Grand Cru vineyards and we felt like traveling back in time. The breakfast (extra to be paid) was so nicely setup! The staff was attentive and the wine tour was very interesting too!

Review 25：Incredible experience. Lovely staff. Splendid chateau, spectacular grounds. Room lavishly appointed. Ours had a view of the front garden. The winery shop gave us a spontaneous wine tasting of the famous Pape Clément wines, sandwiching us between two booked tours. We booked a private dinner for four with their chef. Absolutely fabulous meal. Our server then took us on a personal tour of the cellar - with an effigy of Pape Clément himself as well as an archive of very old wines. Breakfast delicious as well. Our stay was a highlight of our entire holiday. We will be back!
