Hotel C2 sells fast on our site. Featuring a grand piano, HOTEL C2, located in the Pierre Puget courtyard in Marseille, is a 19th-century private mansion converted into a hotel. It features the original marble and parquet floors, columns, bas-relief sculptures, frescoes and bronze banisters, whilst offering a minimalist, contemporary twist. It opened in April 2014.
The light and airy guest rooms are spacious with designer furnishings and have a private bathroom.
In the lounge you can enjoy home-made Sunday brunches, afternoon tea or evening drinks, with eclectic music in the background.
Facilities include a spa with a relaxation room, indoor pool and thermal baths, a bar and meeting room. The hotel's specially-chartered boat leaves from the Vieux Port, and is available with the beach package. Each month the hotel also hosts art and photographic exhibitions and performances.

Review 1：I was travelling for work and asked for a quiet room, both before I arrived and when I arrived. Despite this I received a room on the ground floor facing heavy traffic. The noise to my room was constant. When I went to ask to change the room there was a very rude person at the front desk ridiculing me and in no way wanting to help. She made all kinds of claims one after another, first noting I should have asked for a quite room, when I said I did ask she went on to tell me that other rooms that were quiet were only available in other price ranges (lower ones) and all kinds of impolite comments. At night there was a loud fire alarm. I exited the building through the fire escape, and when I went to the reception the same rude person there now made comments about why I had exited when there was only an alarm and no fire. She said she had called all rooms to tell not to exit. I was not called but I was ridiciloude by her. I did not sleep well because of the noise and this person in the evening shift was very rude. Other people were kinder but I did have to deal with her. I would never go back to this hotel.

Review 3：The staff and their attention to detail was excellent. the overall ambiance of the hotel is very romantic. If there was something not in order, they immediately rectified the situation. I would definitely return to this location.

Review 4：I had a terrible experience at this hotel. I spent a hour wandering the hotel at 1am with the night manager looking for the source of noise from a party nearby which I could hear in my room. In the end I got a terrible sleep and was told in the morning that this wasn't the hotels fault. Terrible customer service. This was the most disappointing stay I have spent in a hotel and I would not recommend it to anybody.

Review 6：It's a 15 out of 10 points! Wonderfull hotel on a perfect location. A 5 minute walk to the Vieux Port. Parkservice ist helpful, the hotel easy to find. The Hotel is beautifully renovatet, the rooms huge and very practically furnished. The saff is lovely and very helpful. We're sure going to come back! You guys did a great job, thank you so much!

Review 14：Great location - around 8-minute walk to the old port. It would be very noisy if you stay at the old port area. Hotel C2 is located at a quiet area just behind the main roads. Very helpful and friendly staff speaking good english. They take good care of your car if you need parking. Modern and cozy rooms renovated from an classic old building. Toiletries are from Hermes!

Review 22：The WiFi was spotty. The valet doesn't start working until 9 AM so if you have an early morning flight you need to leave your car on the street. If I hadn't overheard about the 9Am start time I would have been in a bad spot. The food was not bad, but not great...fair to middling.

Review 31：I left an expensive bikini in a bag in the spa, which was entirely my own fault. I was rushing on the last morning. I immediately realised what I had done and called the hotel. They said that they had found it. I asked if they would please put it in their laundry service and gave them a card number to pay for this and the postage. I didn't hear anything back from them and had to send about five emails before they responded. After about two weeks of asking, they finally replied to say that I could expect it soon. When it arrived, it had been ruined by being left wet and unwashed in the bag for so long. It was actually still wet when it arrived, so you can imagine the smell and it is permanently out of shape. I found this service really upsetting.

Review 33：Would prefer twin mattresses rather than king size bed and couch. Free WiFi works but code needs to be re- entered and reactivated too frequently, also a bit slow. Lounge chair artistic but not funtional.

Review 35：The hotel has the most friendly and helpful staff and manageress. Every single member made a point of asking how we were doing during our stay. The building is historic but the rooms are ultra modern and spacious. There is a spa to relax in and with no added charges if you only want to use the facilities, read a book and have a drink. Breakfast is good with home made cakes, pastries, crepes and some hot food. Not too far from the port area

Review 36：The room had one large, "artistic" chair which was quite uncomfortable. However, upon request on our second day, it was replaced with two modern table chairs. This worked out fine.

Good idea to keep these prices lower and get the patronage. We tend to go out to the local cafe and buy deux croissants s'il vous plait. I recommend this hotel and Marseille highly. charming place.

The courtyard bar was a delightful refuge that was the perfect transition from street to room. I would certainly recommend this as a sophisticated fun place to experience.

Review 58：It needs more time to get a grip of the business and the service. They only have 5 parking spot and it's fairly far from the hotel and therefore it took time for them to valet the car.

Review 114：Breakfast was very expensive at 30€ a head even given the 5* rating of the hotel. We chose to go to a local boulangerie and eat outside the hotel so cannot comment on the breakfast quality or selection but as we stayed 3 nights it seems a bit steep to spend 180€ in that time just on continental breakfast. Wifi signal was a bit hit and miss. Tea and coffee in the room wasn't replenished upon use - for some reason we got two coffee pods for the machine but only one was caffeinated coffee! Also no milk or creme supplied in the room for the coffee.

Review 115：Beautiful hotel and tasteful decor. Room was simply fantastic, very modern with amazing bathroom and a huge comfy bed and the balcony as a nice addition. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Spa is a welcome addition. Hotel is also in a very convenient location to the Vieux Port. Overall had a wonderful stay - we didn't want to leave!!!! *Formidable!*
