Reviews for Maison d'Hôtes Aux Bories de Marquay
Review 1:Liked everything, breakfast a bit lean.
Review 2:Without GPS in our car it was a little bit of a game to find the place, but it actually was very well marked in retrospect. The location is perfect for exploring the area and the room is wonderful. Giovanni is a gem!!!
Review 3:Beautiful property in lovely location. Very peaceful. We were late arriving in the evening after a long journey and they had dinner ready for us. We had a fantastic three course dinner with the kids sat out in the courtyard, fois grass, duck, and very reasonably priced. Excellent place.
Review 4:There was no air conditioning and the bedroom was exceptionally hot, with only a small upper window , which when opened let in dozens flies and wasps. This created an unbearable room. We could only stand this for 1 night and had to check out 2 days early.
Review 5:The decor and cleanliness was excellent. The hostess was extremely helpful.
Review 6:The only complaint would be the relatively unstable wifi; but it wouldn't stop me from booking here again.
Review 7:The friendliness and hospitality of the host, the lovely surroundings, the breakfast and location near the Vezelay valley. Great Value for the money.
Review 8:Just note: the roads in this area are narrow and winding - don't expect to pop into town in 5 minutes.
Review 9:Aux Bories is beautifully presented and the meals are wonderful. The hostess and the setting are equally charming. I stayed 5 nights, with dinner, and could have happily stayed much longer.
Review 10:We stayed three nights with our grandson who is 12.he was the first one to object when we suggested to have once a meal outside. The place has a special atmosphere, comfortable, good food and friendly owners. The place is definitely not, luxuroius but of very high standard, that's what makes it so special.

Review 52:I didnt like to sit at a long table with several other people, it felt a bit like a youth hostel/dormitory I think because you are very isolated in the country a kettle and coffee/drinks should be included. Also a fridge to stock your own food/wine if you don,t wish to drive the 30 min to Salat.
Review 53:The room was decorated beautifully. It was very clean, comfortable and fairly spacious.
