Review 5:LOVELY PEACEFUL LOCATION AND COMFORTABLE with good facilities for self catering, which is a vood option for travelling with an elderly parent. Nice to bave the option to breakfast or lunch on site. All recommendations viven to us were very good.
Review 6:A lovely kitchen/living room area in an idyllic setting. Red squirrels, chickens and peacocks wandering around. A good garlic restaurant next door. Recommended.
Review 7:Perhaps a little more guidance as to which cottage is yours but not a big thing and was resolved with a quick phone call.
Review 8:The location was picturesque, we had a private paddock with a table, chairs, sunbeds and now, we stayed in the one bedroom cottage (paddock) and the private outside area is accessible through the bedroom so in the morning you could open the doors and enjoy the birds tweeting and the gorgeous sunshine. The shower had great pressure and lots of hot water, everything was clean and tidy. Some of it is a little old fashioned (furnishings) but they were old or worn out and still pleasant. The breakfast which is available from the garlic farm was incredible, great setting and very very tasty!! Bought lots of food to take home from the garlic farm shop! The place is run by Jenny and Hugo, Jenny welcomed us to the cottage after we had arrived and she was lovely and gave lots of tips on the local attractions etc. I would highly recommend this place for a get away and relax or somewhere to bring the whole family.
Review 9:Although functional, the kitchen could do with updating.
Review 10:Paddock Cottage was lovely and warm with lots of character, light and a cute little garden through the bedroom patio doors. 10% off at the adjacent garlic farm shop and restaurant was great. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and allowed us to feed their chickens and peacocks.
Review 11:Some guests would like Sky TV but it didn't bother us.
