On the Snowdonia coast, Wavecrest is 2 minutes’ walk from Barmouth Beach with its spectacular mountain views. This elegant guest house offers free WiFi and freshly cooked full English breakfasts.
Guest rooms at Wavecrest have en suite facilities with a shower, hairdryer and toiletries provided. There is also a flat-screen TV, alarm clock, wardrobe and tea and coffee facilities in each room, and some also have sea views.

Review 1：The view, the tea/ coffee tray including a teapot! Fresh milk available anytime although would have been happy with LL milk portions to save waste

A splendid stay in a beautiful and convenient location with some truly lovely people. The sea views were stunning. I would definitely go back to Barmouth, and would hope that there was a room available at the Wavecrest. Thanks to Eric and Shelagh for making our break extra special. p.s Letting us stay on a bit possibly saved our lives :)

Review 22：Didn't like that my belongings were touched by outside cleaning staff. Never had my toiletries or suitcase touched in any hotel / b&b I have ever stayed in. This was not the owners but chambermaids they were using. I don't think packing someone items away is expectable.

Our room was comfy, clean and plenty of space for the 2 of us.The breakfast were excellant, nothing was too much trouble for either of them. we were sad to leave even after having 7 days there, hopefully we will be able to return again one day, the only thing that prevents us is the long journey as we live in Hampshire
Review 28：The usual warm welcome from Eric and Shelagh at the Wavecrest. Out sea view room on the first floor was a great size and immaculately clean. The regular little touches of tea and coffee and fresh milk on request not the silly little cartons, with complimentary shower gel and shampoo in the modern bathroom. Breakfast as always was superb with a choice of five breakfast cereals, some organic, fresh fruit (blueberries, raspberries, grapefruit) prunes and organic yoghurt also available. This all followed by a substantial full english using on the best ingredients not cheaper alternatives. Directly across the road from Barmouth's superb sandy beach the location cant be bettered. Definitely a hotel worth a regular visit and we can strongly recommend it.

Lovely room with modern bathroom. Attention to detail throughout hotel - everything from food, bedding, crockery showed the pride they take in looking after their guests.

The room was extremely clean comfortable well appointed and maintained, with very good tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite facilities were very cafefully planned into the room. The location on the seafront and parking were also excellent.

You also had a choice of scrambled eggs & smoked salmon or kipper & tomato besides the traditional English breakfast. All in all, a wonderful stay!
