Reviews for Domaine de la Condamine
Review 1:Facilities were a little old though the place was quaint and charming.
Review 2:The location and they had a pool but we had no chance to use it as it was September. The owners were nice and hospitable.
Review 3:The shower/washroom was too small. Shower cubicle leaked water into rest of washroom. Wash basin was too small and just a Vasque.
Review 4:Swimming Pool. Restaurant.
Review 5:A bit difficult access.
Review 6:Very quite. Nice pool.
Review 7:pool .
Review 8:location , all day sun at the pool .
Review 9:Room was comfortable, clean and large. Owner provided travel & tourist information for my next destination which was helpful. I would stay again & recommend to friends.
Review 10:some staff were miserable, It was expensive compared to similar hotels in Spain and England. The bedroom although clean was like walking into my nana's house 40 years ago, Pink bathroom, eiderdowns and blankets on the beds and garish pink flower wall paper like my mam and nana used to buy. I would recommend the hotel purely on Location, the views and countryside were very good
Review 11:The man who booked us in and checked us out was very nice, friendly and helpful, other than him, everyone else was miserable. Location was good. I would recommend the hotel purely on Location, the views and countryside were very good
Review 12:No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms and as breakfast didn't start until 8.00 it would have been nice to have had an early morning drink.
Review 13:Well situated for visiting the area, but quiet and relaxing away from the frenzy of Sarlat. Nice food and comfortable rooms.
Review 14:Very beautiful and peaceful setting, (absolutely no traffic noise), very helpful hosts, lovely large room with superb bathroom and shower and French windows opening onto a private sitting area, good breakfast and a nice restaurant, free Wi-Fi, local walks and visits and not far from Sarlat.
Review 15:Rooms are still very tired even though changed hands 4 years ago. Food overpriced. We were offered one starter and one main course only. Only when pressed were we offered something else.quality food no where near previous levels. Would not go back.
Review 16:Location is lovely. Pool but too cold to use
Review 17:Breakfast is not included and is fairly basic for what you pay.
Review 18:We enjoyed everything about our stay at La Condomine. The food is worth eating at the restaurant there if you don't want to venture into town. We requested 3 separate beds which we got. The bathroom was clean, great shower. Wifi didn't work well in our room but would've if our room was closer to the lobby. Jerome, (? Owner) was lovely and very accommodating, happily answering our questions about the region, which sights to visit, etc. They even did our laundry for us! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. The rooms are basic but very comfortable.
Review 19:Nothing - it was great.
Review 20:This was an excellent place to stay. The proprietor was very friendly and obliging, the setting was super with lovely views across the forested hills, and the food was excellent. It was also excellent value. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
Review 21:Not what you would call luxourious but good value for money, clean andcomfortable and good location.
Review 22:Very good location for travelling through france. Good swimming pool andfriendly staff.. Overall very good value for money.
Review 23:No tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms poorly insulated against noise of other guest rooms.
Review 24:Fabulous location and surroundings; lovely clean room and building; very friendly staff; superb dinners.
Review 25:The rooms may not have the best decor, but they are huge compared to any hotel chain room.
Review 26:This hotel was great. The staff are all lovely and helpful. The pool is a great size, the mini golf good fun, but best of all was the food. It was some of the best food I have eaten. Fabulous.
Review 27:The rooms were a bit small and spartan - but they were perfectly adequate especially as they were so reasonably priced. We would have loved some cushions on the sun loungers around the pool. Got pretty sore backsides from hard chairs. Also would have liked small tables dotted between the sun loungers to hold drinks etc.
Review 28:A beautiful setting in the most peaceful countryside beside a tiny village. The village had a terrific restaurant L'Estrel. I had one of the best meals of my life there last week! We also had an excellent meal in the hotel's restaurant.
Review 29:Room smelt a bit upon first arrival and not worth the price
Review 30:A very quiet location this hotel is in. The room was decent. Was very clean but quite dated and it did smell a bit when first entered. The breakfast was decent too and there was free wi-fi. Hotel staff excellent
Review 31:No English speaking TV channels. No Internet access. No tea/coffee making facilities in bedrooms. It should be noted that we felt the above are only minor issues.
Review 32:It is in a very pleasant country setting and quiet. The location was perfect for touring the Dordogne region.
Review 33:In the morning, no courtains in the room, so it can be a bit too light!
Review 34:The owner is awesome, really good value, the dinner was great with areasonable price... Everything was very good!
Review 35:A gem. Beautiful peaceful location, excellent locally sourced food. Owners very friendly.
Review 36:A good but rather limited menu.
Review 37:Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, dog friendly and value for money.
Review 38:Proprietors and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Review 39:Quite location close to sites of interest and good price. Ownerspeaks English.
