In the center of Les Deux Alpes ski resort and 300 feet from Le Jandri Express ski lift is Hotel le Sherpa. It is a traditional, mountain-style hotel with a bar and ski storage.
Combining a contemporary décor and a chalet style, the rooms at Sherpa offer an LCD TV and free Wi-Fi access. Each features wood furniture and paneling, and some have views of the mountains.
Guests can start the day with the hotel’s buffet breakfast. There is also a restaurant, which serves regional dishes and wine. On warmer days, the terrace provides a nice spot to admire the views.
Local activities in Ecrins National Park include mountain biking and Sherpa also has a bike cleaning area. The public swimming pool and ice rink are 65 ft away and parking is free in front of the hotel.

Review 1：Our balcony could have been a little tidier - there had been work done to the balcony upstairs and the drill bits and small pieces of wood had been left on our balcony. However, this is a very minor point .
Review 2：We've stayed in a few hotels in Les Deux Alpes and this has been the best. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (I cannot emphasize this too much!), nothing was ever too much trouble. On arrival we were given a room up-date to the suite (we had booked the Family room) which was really spacious! The food was good and wholesome and plenty of it. If the girls didn't like what was on offer the staff were always willing to get them something else - even if they'd already been served! They even offered a departure meal at 5pm which was a lovely idea. The hotel was right in the center of town, a two minute walk to the white eggs and the Jandri lifts and opposite the skating rink if you had the energy!! I will definitely be back!!

Review 5：For us, it was quite warm and sticky at night, no aircon and leaving window open is ok but as in middle of resort, there is a bit of noise in early morning with deliveries etc. But I would stay here again...

Review 15：The staff were extremely helpful and informative. They are all multi lingual so communication was easy. My vehicle had a dead battery on day of departure and the hotel owner brought his own vehicle round and supplied jump leads to get me going. It was raining and miserable but this was no problem. Excellent customer care. Also location next to Jardin Express could not be better

Review 48：We arrived at Hotel le Sherpa on opening day of the 2013 season. Marieke welcomed us and made us feel immediately at home. Staying at le Sherpa was an outstanding experience for our family (me, my husband and two teenage children) - the Alpes were amazing, my kids had the time of their lives snowboarding with Marco, Les Deux Alpes snowboard expert extraordinaire and my husband and I could relax and enjoy ourselves without worry. The best part, however, was absolutely the people - Marieke, Paul (owner), Simeon and Marco. They were always quick with a smile, a drink and a conversation. A memorable trip not soon to be forgotten.

Review 50：This is more a budget hotel, so scoring it lower than tops is a reflection of this. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are adequate and clean, but not at all luxurious. Perfect for a lads ski tour, but not somewhere to take your mistress. However, if you only spent that much on your mistress, she wouldn't be your mistress for long! Location, close to lifts and centre of town were excellent too. So, if your on a ski trip with some friends, book it, if you are trying to impress, this is not for you.

Restaurant food really lovely we stayed half board and plenty of choice for buffet breakfast! Staff were friendly and polite also very helpful with anything we asked! Review 57：This is a small hotel based in the centre of the resort that offers excellent value for money. We arrived after a long day traveling to a polite and friendly welcome. If you’re expecting luxury then you’ll be disappointed but if you’re after a nice, clean and relaxed environment that has both a bar and a set menu restaurant of good wholesome food at a very reasonable price then you’ll not be disappointed. Very close to the tourist information, swimming pool, ice rink and local shops so plenty to do. Car parking is on street but was free when stayed. Ideal as a stop over or short break hotel.
