Review 1：We stayed in the 4 bed room with mountain view. The mountain was absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and evening. The old church behind the hotel added to the romantic feeling. The whole village was so perfect, clean and lovely. We always felt very safe, even late at night as there is beautiful lighting in the trees and around the hotel. We have stayed in this hotel for several Summer vacations and the staff has always been very nice and friendly.
Review 2：No reception after 8pm??? That's not a hotel. We arrived at 9.25pm, which was within the stated time for check-in, to find an envelope with key and a note in French waiting on reception. Hurriedly went out to find some dinner as hotel restaurant had stopped taking orders. Waiter directed us to a restaurant that might be open. We got back at 11.30 to find the whole place locked up and we worked out there must have been a code in the envelope to let us in but that was in the room!!! Rang buzzer .. No answer ... Phoned the number on the door listed as for guest emergency and left 6 messages on the answer machine.... Still waiting for a response!!! My husband had to climb on to the balcony and break in!! The Internet did not work properly. The man at breakfast would not even acknowledge us. The 'lake view room' may have a view of more than the main road in winter when there are no leaves on the trees!

Review 4：The Wifi never worked. No drink making facilities or anywhere to purchase a drink. Room very hot. Restaurant manager was not very welcoming.

Review 9：The rooms are refurbished and lovely designed. We liked the style. Our room was large and very clean. It is quiet at night, although the main street is just in front of the hotel.
Review 10：The hotel was only a few minute from the main town of Annecy and just a short walk from the very beautiful lake. The room was simple but clean, the bathroom recently refitted. The meal in the evening was of exceptional quality; a reason on its own to revisit.
Review 11：Just a little noisy if you are in a lake view room as the road which runs round the lake is immediately outside Strangely the hotel doesn't seem to provide the usual range of soaps and shampoos.
Review 12：The location is ideal, just four kilometres from Annecy. The rooms are basic but many have good views of the lake. The staff are helpful and friendly; the restaurant serves a range of regional dishes, with a very reasonably priced menu du jour; the chef is really exceptionally good. There is an underground car park immediately behind the hotel. Access to Annecy, the mountains and the lake is immediate!
Review 13：The small bedrooms were adequate, but we found them to be too hot. As we were on the front of the hotel ( with lovely lake views) we had to close the balcony doors at night to shut out the early morning traffic noise, thus making the rooms too hot. The fan provided, although welcome, was inadequate.

Review 37：The room was tiny, very dark and depressing . Bare walls , broken mirror in the bathroom, balcony doors that wouldn't open,and balcony not cleaned all week.Safe that did not work. Also no aircon, which is essential given the temperatures.

Review 42：Lovely location; great for going down to the Annecy Lake and also to walk to Annecy or the surrounding mountains. Very nice buffet breakfast. The beautiful trees in the garden provide guests with lovely, natural shade; a real pleasure to have breakfast in this décor. Quite a large terrace with table and two chairs add a plus to the room.
Review 43：Took a room with a view to the lake, from our room we have a small window among the trees to see it. The room has a lot of ants at the night time, I asked the crew several times to conquer them, but they stay with us all the nights.

No aircon which is a major requirement in a cramped room (12ft by 10ft) for four adults. Asked about an alternative room again they said that's the only one. Never again!

Review 48：The bathroom was far too small, without ventilation, which was causing the wall paint to peel. The bed was very uncomfortable, due to the mattress sagging in the middle. Walls were painted a dark brown, for such a lovely place, rather dull.
