Reviews for Hôtel Adour
Review 1:No lifts and the high ceilings mean very high staircases, but the owner helped carry our suitcases up the stairs.
Review 2:Quite an intimate atmosphere in a quaint hotel with very helpful staff. A nice breakfast at a very reasonable price. it was lovely to have tea/coffee making facilities provided on our floor.
Review 3:It was a little difficult to find the reserved parking location, Pau is a heavily pedestrianised area with a one way system so if you are driving be sure to ask the staff for directions first.
Review 4:Friendly staff and a fine location to explore Pau close to the main square.
Review 5:When we arrived hotel was closed even though it should have been open. When we spoke to somebody on the intercom she was rather rude. When the young receptionist arrived she was excellent and helpful.
Review 6:The location
Review 7:We were not lucky with the weather: it was cold , rainy and damp. The room , in my opinion , was cool , although the bathroom heating worked well and it was warm here.
Review 8:Excellent location : close to all the attractions . Quiet street in the city center .Several cafes on the opposite side of the street Large room, large bathroom . Excellent WiFi. Staff are very friendly and caring.
Review 9:The location and helpfulness of the staff.
Review 10:Awkward location anx shape of room
Review 11:Location
Review 12:Quaint
Review 13:Excellent location and wonderful staff. Very comfortable and the added bonus of in-room breakfast being available.
Review 14:Very quiet. There is no traffic noise and at night it was practically silent. The bed was also very comfortable, so I slept like a baby. The rate for the night I stayed was 55€. I felt this was an excellent value.
Review 15:The only slightly negative thing was that the room was very hot, but it was 38 degrees outside when I stayed! There is a fan in the room though which helped.
Review 16:I was really impressed with this hotel, it was very comfortable, clean and excellent value for money. I had a 'comfort' room which had slightly extra space, the decor and furniture in the room were lovely. Bathroom was clean and modern. The hotel is located in a quiet pedestrian street but it's in the centre of town so couldn't be handier for the shops, restaurants and station (15 minutes). Windows facing the street are also triple glazed. I had breakfast one morning which is also good value for money- continental style. There is free access to a computer in the lobby area.
Review 17:Customers should be aware of the reception's limited hours (much more soon Sundays). Always email ahead with your arrival time and they willsend you the security code to get into the building and tell you whereto find your key. There is no lobby area. The one lady who seemed to runthe hotel was not terribly friendly. When I showed up for breakfast shesaid "But I don't have any croissants because you didn't tell me." Wellof course because she hadn't been there when I arrived and hadn't spokento me later when she did see me. So you're on your own.
Review 18:I had booked the large double room and it was comfortably large with alarge double bed. Clean new tiled bathroom, good-sized flat screen tvwith bbc, extra layers of soundproofing on the windows (although hardlynecessary as the hotel is on a very quiet pedestrian street). Good wifi.
Review 19:We were a late booking so got allocated the only room at the third level. Yes 66 steps from street level to our front door an NO LIFT ( assendor) Town booked out for 25km radius on Booking.com so no alternative when we arrived or we would not have stayed Suggest that the fact that a multi storey property does not have a lift is significant and should be on the info provided on your web site At time of booking, we could have chosen from several alternative hotels and would not have stayed there No on site parking was available but underground park in city plaza reasonable price but about 200 - 300metres away by the time you get to your car The hotel is located in a pedestrian zone and 'George' our GPS had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel
Review 20:Was in centre of the city
