This Victorian house, built in 1863 is nestled in the heart of the ancient fishing town of Brixham. Beacon House offers picturesque views over the sea and nearby harbour. Free private parking is available, as well as a garden and sun terrace.
Views of the sea, harbour or marina are featured in each room at Beacon House, as well as free Wi-Fi, an en suite bathroom and a tea/coffee making facilities. Many rooms feature original Victorian furnishings, such as fireplaces and exposed floorboards.

Tea/coffee facilities in the room and a cooler in the breakfast room if you need to keep a bottle or two chilled for your return from the harbour or town which are only a short walk away. The view from our harbour view room was beautiful with everything lit up at night.
Review 4：I cannot recommend Beacon house more highly. It is immaculate in every respect and with a very friendly and hands on owner. The room was spacious and had a lovely view and the shower facilities top notch. Breakfast was also very nice and nicely presented. Small, friendly, and very well run.Will certainly visit again.
Review 5：The attention to detail in matters concerning the comfort of the guests. The food was super well prepared local produce. The location gives super views of the town and access to its facilities, including a good old fashioned local pub serving real ales you will have never heard of.

The breakfasts were superb and a really good choice. The views are stunning over the harbour and we had the most glorious weather for mid April which was a bonus to sit out on the terrace or in the garden.

The room was lovely with wonderful views, it was very clean, modern and well equipped and breakfast was superb. We only had one night here but would be more than happy to return. Review 83：Nigel and Amanda made us feel very welcome indeed, and have done an extraordinary job to refurb the hotel. The quality of the furniture, fittings and fixtures is first class. If you don't manage to book yourself in to the Beacon, then you will definitely have to settle for second best. Absolutely first rate. The view across the harbour is outstanding too. Can't wait to return.

The breakfasts were superb - probably the best I have every had at a B&B. I really liked the "light" option - so tasty. My only regret was that I was on a work trip and couldn't spend more time there!

Review 97：Beacon House is not a "typical" B & B. It is far superior. From the outset, we were made to feel very welcome. Our room which had a balcony overlooking Brixham harbour was stunning. Spotlessly clean and really well equiped there was nothing left to wish for. With the chiller, we were able to keep our wine and soft drinks cold, along with bottled water which was supplied freshly every day. On returning to our room each day, there were fresh homemade cakes which were delicious. As has been mentioned on previous occasions, the breakfast is all that you could wish for and more. Nigel and Amanda were fabulous hosts. This is a B & B which the tourist board should use as a benchmark when rating other B & B's.
