Review 1：When I saw lice walking on mattress that was it for me,and also the breakfast was horrific,it wasn't eatable except toast,and the owner pretty rude.

Review 15：CLEANLINESS! one of the two wardrobes was full of hair and dust! dont know when was the last time it was cleaned. Also the spiders in the lounge, ive found at leat 5-alive-do not if its due to the fact that its an island yet, im bit doutful and the room was very cold. Usually i donot fear cold but i was freezing sleeping with a knitted cardigan

Review 17：Very dated property. Rooms a bit tatty. No showers worked. One bed in our room had springs virtually jumping out. Breakfast was a big disappointment. Don't pay more than £30 / head for this. Also take cash as landlord cant take credit cards over the weekend....hmmmmm

Review 24：the en-suite was a tiny cupboard with sliding door,power shower only worked when it felt like it. only one window opened the rest were painted shut. The bar was a poor excuse with no beer in the pumps and very little else to offer. You had to order your breakfast the day before and if you weren't down at 8.30 the toast and coffee was cold because it was already on the table., there was no fresh fruit or yogurt, the only choose of spread was marmalade. The T.V was without sound on BBC for 4 days. the room was not hovered in the all time we were there. John had a ready excuse for everything. if we were staying any longer we would have walked out.

Wi Fi only works in some rooms Breakfast only at a particular time for each room! No shower Gel of any kind Old and dated Road outside is quite noisy 2 tea bags, no coffee and one milk on the "hospitality" tray TV remote didn't work at all The owner is just plain weird!

Tea-making facilities and TV remote missing from room (but quickly resolved). Smelt musty. No wifi reception in the bedroom

Review 76：The property requires modernisation, cleaning and electrical safety checks. Staff were not present or contactable. The so called bar was unattended. Furniture was cheap bedsit standard. A kettle was provided in the room but no cups, tea, coffee etc. We left the place feeling that we needed to get clean. In all, a horrendous experience that we will not forget. On a plus side, had a car park (small) and close to the town centre and beach.
