Review 6：We stayed at Brookside for two nights & found it to be a very comfortable B&B. The room facilities are excellent well kept & extreamley clean which included a very comfortable double bed & fridge which we found useful.. The breakfast provided was 1st class. Richard was very at-tentative & helpfully at all times without being intrusive. The B&B is a 10 minute walk from the town centre with a very good bus service if desired. It is also a great location for those wishing to use ias a base when travelling around South Devon. The customer service is excellent with tea, coffee & cakes provided on our arrival. We will definitely use this B&B the next time we are visiting Brixham. John & Angela Cirencester.

Review 16：The house & room is very clean. The room (we stayed in room 3) deserves to be described as luxurious and far exceeds many hotel standards. The breakfast was delicious with a good choice. Richard & Julie are lovely hosts. We would stay again.

From basic expectations of a comfortable bed, an effective shower and good food to the not so necessary overall quality of decor, cleanliness, accessories together with the little extra touches - sweets, complimentary chocolates, tuck box with honesty box, fridge with fresh milk and a host that couldn't do enough to ensure the stay was just as we wanted it to be. Breakfast was top class - included everything you could possibly want to choose from and your request taken in advance and cooked fresh while you wait and/or indulge in the other items available. Add to that a treatment room where you could opt for a massage or Reiki treatment and you have the recipe for a most pleasant stay. Will take a lot to beat such quality and recommend wholeheartedly.
Review 24：The cleanest room/accommodation we have stayed in. We loved the extra touches like water, fridge, cake, dressing gowns, toiletries. The room was really modern and bed comfy. Richard and Julie were really helpful and friendly. The best breakfast we have had.

Review 49：Fabulous B+B...one of the best we have stayed in. We were greeted by Richard and Julie who gave us tea,cake and tips on where to eat out. Our room was lovely with every attention to detail. Scrupulously clean, comfortable bed, fluffy white towels and wonderful bathroom products. Breakfast was lovely, cooked to order appearing in no time. We were especially impressed with a number of small but significant ways in which Julie and Richard added to the enjoyment of our holiday.

Review 55：Welcoming and friendly hosts, kindly suggested to book us a restaurant as we arrived late. It took us 15min to walk to the harbour from Brookside which is a lovely walk. Very comfy bed, room was very practical despite not being large. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, we were welcomed at a lovely presented table with fresh orange juice and a large choice of delicious home-cooked food. Richard was very knowledgeable about activities and food places in the area which contributed to making our stay really special. Would highly recommend it!

Review 59：Searching for a B&B on the Internet can sometimes be the same as trying to pick the winning numbers in a lottery. However on a recent short trip to visit Agatha Christie’s home at Greenway we found this absolute gem of a B&B in Brixham. Under the new ownership of Richard & Julie Cooke we (a family of 3 adults) were warmly welcomed by our hosts and shown to very elegant and well-appointed quality rooms with extremely comfortable beds guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The free Wi-Fi was a welcome addition to help with last minute holiday planning ably assisted by Richard with his local knowledge of places to visit and restaurants. The breakfast at the B&B was a delight with a broad menu on offer including local produce freshly cooked to order and served with a bit of style and panache. While we only had a two night stay the area and this B&B in particular has ensured that we will make a return visit!
