Reviews for Logis La Charpenterie
Review 1:Room was disappointing and old fashioned. Booking.com did not tell hotel we wanted twin beds which meant we had room in the eaves. Bathroom looked like it was designed in the 70s. Cistern leaked and despite the receptionist trying to mend it , it dripped all night and drove us mad. Shower head affixed next to roof beam so couldn't stand up in shower. We left at 8.45am and no staff in the hotel
Review 2:The view across the lake
Review 3:thin walls meant you could here the occupants of the next door room.
Review 4:We chose this hotel for location. it was clean and tidy albeit a little old fashion within the room. however good views and a good restaurant on site.
Review 5:the main picture for the hotel in booking web site is not true ther a houses front the hotel so not direct view for the lake ):
Review 6:the palcony for my room is beg but not have direct view there smale food market near by have great carosan for breakfast
Review 7:Breakfast was not gut, very few choices. I also missed bedside table, bery uncomfortable not to have and lost my earings because of this ((
Review 8:Stuff and reception is so friendly and helpul! And the restaurant is very good.
Review 9:The room may be 'charming' but it was really quite dated for the price we are paying. In fact everything looked like that at first. There is no coffee or tea in the rooms. Two of the plugs in the room were not working or it was a system that I was not familiar with. The bathroom needs to be swept everyday, please.
Review 10:The staff were friendly, helpful and quite well informed on what was going on in the area, events in Talloires, etc The internet was good and the location of the hotel is hard to beat. I liked that it was in town, rather than the short walk down to the lake front. The bed linen was clean and the room overall.
Review 11:The welcoming was not a very warm one. People were not too keen on exposing themselves to some English or tolerating our French (with the exception of the wonderful cleaning lady). There was very little information about the area, no maps- only a diagram of the neighborhood. The room was nice but too small for a family of 4. Weak wifi signal.
Review 12:Location is excellent.
Review 13:We thought that the restaurant was over priced for dinner for the quality of the meal.
Review 14:Very pleasant stay in a great location. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was very comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony. Breakfast was very good. The staff were most helpful.
Review 15:No tea & coffee facilities in room. No room service to enable drinks to taken on the balcony.
Review 16:Local character hotel with excellent food at fair prices, superb location overlooking Lac d'Annecy. Close to lake frontage and beach. Quiet but central to facilities in the village. Attentive and friendly staff. Lift access to all but top floor off road parking for about 8 cars, with free street parking nearby.
Review 17:The shower in the top floor room is very low, had to crouch.
Review 18:This is a quaint little hotel with a fabulous restaurant - the set menu (degustation) is excellent, definitely worth splashing out on a meal there! The rooms are what you would expect for a 3 star, clean and functionalnqotj great views over the lake. Well located and close to the beach (plage), supermarket and other cafés. The staff are very helpful and there is free parking. We would go back.

Review 30:Everything was fine, nice comfortable rooms, beautiful view..
Review 31:The village is quite small if you want to stay for longer than 3-4 days.
Review 32:Talloires is an excellent village for a 3-4 day stop close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and provided an excellent recommendation for hikes. The room had a great look over the Annecy lake. The resturant is great.
Review 33:Absurd rules: We arrived with a small child but according to house rules would not have been allowed to consume food in the room (we chose to ignore). What was booked as room with sea view turned out to be a rather small fraction where the sea could actually be seen.
Review 34:Room was quite spacious. Everything incl. bath room was very clean.
Review 35:Bedrooms/common rooms boast slightly odd (but very French) design style; staff were efficient and professional but not overly welcoming or smiley; great balcony from the bedroom but it allowed neighbouring guests to see into room.
Review 36:Loved the location close to Annecy lake and in pretty village; loved the truly excellent shower; excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

Review 42:Nothing
