Review 10:Amazing, original, pics online are great, the real thing is even more exciting. Arranged and furnished with a lot of character. The breakfast was very good. The stuff very friendly. Location is very central, inviting for exploration of the cathedral area.
Review 11:The WIFI was broken the whole time of our stay which made it difficult to book our next hotel and also the breakfast was shoddy for 8 euros each , one croissant between two of us and a bit of bread, the coffee was cold ,also the hotel was full of badly behaved kids until late
Review 12:location and the room were great
Review 13:Only minor things like mozaic tiles in the shower coming off or biger bin in the apartments would be better but we enjoyed staying in the old characteristic b&b
Review 14:Great old building, with lots of features, in central location, no problems with parking, would recommend for a weekend break Almost forgot - great service too!
Review 15:Really beautiful clean light rooms in a fantastic grand town house. The bedrooms are full of character -lots of beams in ours- but te decor is simple. We were delayed crossing from Dover and the owners kindly arranged for us to check in late. Breakfast was great too.

Review 23:We loved staying in this hotel. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful and we felt completely at ease. We loved the charming historic house and the way it is decorated, the spacious room and the view! The hotel is well located in the medieval city. Restaurants are around the corner. We had no problem parking our car in front of the door when we came back after our day trips. We would love to come back here!
Review 24:Nothing to complain about.
Review 25:The whole atmosphere of this old house that has been set up in such a quirky way. Our room had exposed beams, a brick floor, but yet a lovely walk-in shower and other modern conveniences. Park right outside on the street.
Review 26:Loved the restoration work on the building and rooms which left a few rough finishes and stylish twists giving a relaxed feeling of french chic. The breakfast room had a welcoming feel and the view from the window of our upstairs room across the courtyard and towards the land below were lovely.
Review 27:Nothing at all.
Review 28:Warm welcome and staff very friendly throughout our stay. A house full of warmth and character in the centre of the town.A memorable place. French rustic charm.

Review 58:Great decore, lovely bright feel and will definitely be going back!!
Review 59:That breakfast was not included in the room price. The breakfast was an adequate traditional continental with fresh croissants and lovely jams.
Review 60:We were very warmly welcomed to this charming, historic house which has been restored and decorated most imaginatively. A truly medieval ambiance to fit with the walled city. We had a lovely view from our window of the countryside and the cathedral to one side. Information on the city of Laon was nicely presented in the room and our host gave us a good recommendation for dinner. It was lovely to be able to walk out directly into the ancient city streets and see the cathedral towers from almost everywhere.
Review 61:A quirky, old and delightful place to stay in the heart of the old city; they were extremely helpful with booking, coping with us arriving late, and parking. Highly recommended.
Review 62:Parking might be an issue and the correct road approach to the old city needs to be clearly identified. We wasted a lot of time (in an old car without sat-nav) trying to get to the property from the wrong side of town.
Review 63:The fact that we had the best room on the first floor (of three). Typical French townhouse. Very charming owner and assistant.
Review 64:That we couldn't get in,before 5pm, by a notice on the door, with a 'phone number but if you didn't speak French not a lot of use!
Review 65:The situation and it's quirky style, A winner
Review 66:The hotelier was very welcoming and offered us a number of rooms. He was very friendly and available to provide recommendations. Views were amazing & love the shabby chic decoration - a great boutique hotel.
Review 67:We arrived late and left very early but Jerome did all he could to accommodate us. Really excellent customer service and an absolutely exquisite old house. Would love to return one day.
Review 68:Warm welcome, delightful old property with lots of character in a convenient location, comfortable and spacious attic room with lovely views over and out of town. Free parking was available on the street right outside. Ideal for an overnight stop but also a great base to explore the area in a longer stay.
Review 69:We stayed in the attic room which was the highlight bedroom of our holiday. Authentic, simple decor. Very comfortable. Our hosts were extremely helpful and we enjoyed the breakfasts. Great base for many picturesque adventures!
Review 70:Nothing at all to complain about in the B&B. Arrived at a busy time so parking seemed difficult but soon found safe & convenient parking about 3 minutes walk away.
Review 71:It doesn't look much from the street outside so it was a wonderful surprise to find such an attractive & comfortable attic room. A very attentive, friendly & helpful host. Great location for sightseeing.
Review 72:It was all good. If you have mobility problems you might find the stairs steep.
Review 73:Beautiful rooms, quirky design, good quality facilities, lovely breakfast, quiet nights sleep, friendly staff. Great stopover accommodation in nice town, lots of places to walk to for dinner.
Review 74:The whole place had a tasteful, contemporary simplicity. The owners were welcoming and understanding, when they realised I was too tall to fit into their lovely attic they put us into a beautifully refurbished loft apartment a few doors away and the bed was super comfortable.
Review 75:Loose light switch in bedroom. TV didn't work as aerial cable not connected properly.
Review 76:Great location in the old city. Excellent breakfast. Spacious rooms.
Review 77:Do not follow the owner's suggestion to eat at Le Peche Mignon. It's one of the worst restaurants I've ever been.
Review 78:the location, city of Laon: a hidden treasure not widely known, but spectacular. The hotel is located at walking distance from every major landmark.
Review 79:Breakfast was very modest. Credit Cards not accepted - cash or cheques only!
Review 80:Very friendly reception. Great location in the middle of a mediaeval town. Free parking right outside the hotel.
Review 81:Nothing. Need a good Sat Nav to get to this, or a very good map. Lots of one way.
Review 82:Very old property. Ambience. Large rooms with brick/stone floors. Comfortable beds. Hosts charming and very helpful. Best for a stop over, we wish we had had two nights. Laon is not a place we had considered before. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Will go back to this property for our next stop over. Parking easy.
Review 83:The bathroom of Chambre des Rois lets the room down - it is in need of modernising and doesn't match the tasteful style of the house.
Review 84:Very warm and friendly welcome from Jerome, and the lovely house which is an unexpected gem in Laon.
Review 85:We were lucky to find a parking space in the road outside the house but otherwise parking could be tricky.
Review 86:Charming host. Good location in this charming little town. Excellent breakfast. Huge, comfortable, bed. Courtyard for breakfast.
Review 87:The breakfast could have been a bit more substantial for the price.
Review 88:The hotel was very relaxing, comfortable and very chic! Fab decore! Perfect place to stay for a sight-seeing stop over in a very interesting and historically rich town.
Review 89:We could have done with a bin in the bedroom and / or bathroom - hadwe been there for longer than a very quick visit we would have asked. Isuspect they had been taken away to be emptied and someone forgot to putthem back.Basin in bedroom did not have a plug which meant my husband had to shave in the bath (think that was the design of the basin rather than something missing). There was a kettle in the room and it would have been nice to have already had cups / tea / coffee tray too rather than popping downstairs again. The table with the television on was two-legged and not attached to the wall so we were a bit worried we might knock it over - didn't, so not a problem. Very small niggles which certainly didn't spoil our stay. Had they been a problem we would have had no hesitation in asking for them to be fixed as nothing was too much trouble for the owner.
Review 90:A very warm welcome and a fantastic breakfast. We arrived late in theevening (after check-in although we had said we would be late) and toldwe could help ourselves to tea / coffee facilities in the breakfastroom and make ourselves at home.We had a gorgeous double room with en suite bathroom and adjoining room for children. Top floor all to ourselves. Beds very VERY comfortable and we slept like kings. It was lovely and quiet. Loved the privacy screen by the basin in the bedroom and the half table that the basin had been set into!
