Review 1：We had trouble getting the car out of the secure public garage at 0900 on Sunday morning because no-one was on site.
Review 2：Sandrine's enthusiasm and personality. The position of the house is excellent
Review 3：A delightful property with a tasteful mix oft radio all and modern, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The garden provided an excellent area to escape from the outside world. Our hostess was superb - nothing was too much trouble for her - the warmth of her personality made our stay very special.
Review 4：Didn't know owner has cats (allergic), but no dramas - I kept out of their way and they ignored me... No fridge and no aircon which made night uncomfortable during hot night.
Review 5：Beautiful, boutique style hotel. Spotlessly clean with incredible attention to detail. Breakfast cooked to order whilst you wait and owner is happy to recommend/arrange dinner.
Review 6：we had the room on the ground floor, which was separated from the WC-Shower only by a wall which did not close with the ceiling.Thus the room and WC shared light, noise and even smells ,on my bedside there was no side table.

Review 9：The house is located in a poor looking part of town, opposite a police station. The pictures give the impression of it being somewhere rural and peaceful. The pool is in a very small courtyard garden. Not what I thought it was going to be. And no mention of a cat being at the premises.

Review 16：The style of the hotel, inside and out! The furniture was beautiful and very well kept. The owner was very helpful and tried to speak in English as much as possible, giving helpful tips on restaurants etc! The breakfast was fantastic, homemade by the owner.

Review 21：The Poux family: very nice and helpful. Recommended super restaurants. Central location only a few blocks from the city center and the river. It is an excellent location from which to make trips out into the Burgundy areas.

Review 23：The welcome, the friendliness, the attention to detail, the assistance, the advice......really every aspect of our stay was lovely. Powerful hairdryer, lots of good sized towels. The beds were so comfortable that we both overslept!
Review 24：Attitude of personnel. I would advise them to write separate email about arrival time as it seems to be really strict. We arrived at 9pm after traveling 600km and we were told off that we are not anymore welcome. In the end we were "allowed" to stay but didn't have a good feeling.

Lovely swimming pool to refresh on arrival, friendly welcome, great town to stroll round in the evening and lovely restaurant. The rooms are contemporary and stylish, but unpretentious. Comfortable and quiet and a great breakfast in the morning - what's not to like?

Review 28：Our room was on the second floor and our luggage was heavy. The proprietress insisted on helping us with the bags. The whole house has been beautifully remodeled and is nicely decorated and furnished. We would definitely stay here if we're back in the area again.

The breakfast was fantastic with a good variety of breads and unusual jams. The eggs were cooked to our requirement and everything was presented magnificently.

Having a swimming pool and sauna on tap, with only a few rooms, means you can almost have it all to yourself. The interior design is wonderful, like something out of a magazine.

It's a great central place to drive into Southern Burgundy... literally minutes to the Pouilly Fuisse region. Sandrine was a wonderful and friendly host, despite the language barrier. And free streetside parking right in front of the B&B.

The hosts were so friendly despite our language barrier but we still managed to understand each other.Absolutely amazing. Couldn't recommend enough! If I ever make it back to macon I will definitley be staying here again. Pure bliss!!! Definitley worth every penny!!
Review 55：The guest house is located on a street that is nondescript. It is across from a police station with a guarantee of safety but car doors opening and closing all night. The rooms are not air conditioned and it was a hot night. Fortunately, we could move to a room on the ground floor. Finally, Macon just does not have the sympathetic character of many other towns and villages in the Bourgogne.
Review 56：The guest house is centrally located, walking distance from everything. The rooms were lovely. The beds and bathroom facilities excellent. The swimming pool was most welcome and charmingly done. The breakfast was very good. And the owner was (and is) a delight.

Very friendly greeting on arrival; a boutique feel to the hotel, smart and modern, eg lovely fittings to the bathroom, best pillows we had all holiday and beautiful quality bed linen. Didn't try the sauna or pool, but looked good. Breakfast also very good quality.
Review 63：We had a lovely stay in Macon, we arrived late and this wasn't aproblem, we had a bike race on Sunday and an early breakfast was kindlyprepared and our bikes we're safely stored in the garage. Thelocation is ideal as it's right next to the town centre withoutbeing noisey.

Review 75：Whilst we had a large room it lacked a full length mirror (one on the landing is not suitable), a set of drawers. The bathroom was very smart with a large bath and two wash basins but the mirror was too high for anyone less than 5.5 feet, (my wife). A second tumbler would be better and a spare toilet roll! The breakfast was a little strange.There was a jug of apple juice on the table. We prefer orange but this was not provided until second morning. We were offered fruit but stewed not fresh. Yogurt and alpen were available if requested. We felt that we were paying for the luxury bathroom, swimming pool and sauna that we did not want. Room was not serviced during our 3 day stay..
