Review 1：As per other reviews, the upstairs of this family suite was a little bit of a challenge to move around in because of the sloped ceilings, especially in the tiny bathroom. But you could always go downstairs to the other bathroom if you wanted.

Review 2：The proprietor, Karine, contacted me ahead of time to make sure I could get in when I arrived, and she was super helpful in organizing paragliding for my children and me on the day we wanted to go. If you book through her, you get a discount and free photos, so be sure to do that!

Review 4：Flexible & Bilingual, I booked last minute and arrived late on evening train from Paris yet nothing was a problem. I asked for local referral to paragliding community and it was spot on.

Review 5：The main disadvantage to RDC is that it is not within walking distance of Lake Annecy, although this was not a problem for us because we had a car. The walls are a little thin and we were woken at 4:30 in the morning two days in a row when the upstairs guests were leaving their room. The kitchenette did not come with a sponge or rag for washing dishes, or a towel to dry dishes. However, it did come with a wide option of cooking and serving utensils/devices, many more than I expected in a kitchenette.

Review 6：Lake Annecy is AMAZING! Crystal blue waters (think Caribbean), a slide and diving board for kids, different swimming areas for various sizes/abilities, boat sports for grown-ups, and amazing scenery. RDC hotel is up a serpentine hill from the lake, and it would be very dangerous, and nearly impossible, to walk or bike it. Luckily I arrived in a car, and the trip down to the proper village of Talloires is just 3 minutes. The main parking lot in town near the lake/beach was not crowded in the second week of September so it was not competitive to park, but I imagine it could be during summer holidays. The furnishings and style of RDC are simple (Ikea meets mountains), but cleaner and more organized than most 5-star hotels. The kitchen suite was small but very comfortable in every way. The hostess, Karine, was extremely helpful and went out of her way to help us book a horseback riding experience. My two daughters (ages 9 and 11) and I had a wonderful stay at RDC. Though it is just a two-star facility, it felt much more comfortable than many 4-star hotels I have stayed in.

Review 17：The location of the hotel was great. Parking was available outside the hotel with no extra charge. Mrs. Karine (manager/owner of the hotel) was very kind and helpful. The style of the hotel and its atmosphere was nice. The price was very good. I would highly recommend it.

Review 20：More of a B&B than a hotel. There is no bar and reception is open between 1 and 7pm after that you have to phone to get code for door. I did not realise this and arrived after 10 pm and did not get the friendliest greeting after travelling all day, tired, frustrated etc. Breakfast was very simple and basic but sufficient.

Review 21：Clean and tidy and very warm, nice view of mountains from the front rooms. Good if you are on a shoestring budget and just looking a comfortable bed to sleep in. I liked the bedroom decor it was very French. and would maybe stay again if in the area. Breakfast area very pleasant and nice view from it.
