Reviews for Les Pierres D'aurèle Chambres d'Hôtes
Review 1:It would be lovely if an evening meal could be offered so that you didn't have to get in the car to find some food.
Review 2:The surroundings, the quiet, tranquil environment, the tour of the vineyards and wine tasting was a lovely experience and the pool was an added bonus! Borrowing bikes and riding around the are was also a highlight. Our hosts were very accommodating.
Review 3:This was everything we hoped for from a Loire valley country home/hotel. The rooms are very large and have character. The property is surrounded by vineyards and they also make their own wine. Staff was so friendly and the home made jams and juice at breakfast were a nice touch.
Review 4:Pool was not clean, no air-con so a fan would be great
Review 5:Lovely spot next to the vineyards, with free wine-tasting. The owners were friendly and helpful. Small kitchenette was handy.
Review 6:Very friendly fun small place, so perfect after being in Paris. Beautifully renovated winery somewhat remote but close to chateau area in Loire Valley. A very favorite stay. Fantastic king size bed!
Review 7:Wifi connection doesn't work in the room and works more or less in common spaces.
Review 8:The owners are very kind, warm and helpful, they offered us wine that themselves produce and a bottle of water for the trip when we left. Beds are very good, even if you can't get rid of the typical soft square pillow...and of the "french" toilet as well. Silence and cleaness.
Review 9:It's a peaceful and real beautiful place. The owners' family was great; very polite, friendly and communication is not an issue as English is spoken. There's loads to see and do in the region, a car is advisable. We slept well, and the shower was great. A lovely stay.
Review 10:Running the B&B seemed like a secondary activity rather than the primary focus of the owners as this was a working vineyard. The overall appearance was ok but with a little more attention to tidiness, the B&B could have been spectacular.
Review 11:This converted barn was an architectural delight. Location was great relative to visiting Chenonceau.
Review 12:Lovely, large room with beautiful views and lots of character Breakfast was plentiful and good Hosts were very welcoming, flexible and friendly and made us feel at home We would have liked to have stayed for longer Also, the wine they produce on site is very good and worth sampling. You can also go on a tour if you are there long enough
Review 13:We stayed here for two nights on our way down through France. We loved the location, the view over the fields of grape vines from our modern, quiet and very comfortable bungalow, the lovely owners, and the wine! The pool was great after a long hot day of sightseeing too.
Review 14:Comfort, quiet, staff made dinner reservations upon request.

Review 21:Beautifully renovated property. Great wines available. Comfortable bads. Great hosts.
Review 22:There wasn't anything we didn't like.
Review 23:We liked the entire place. the staff (who are the owners) were friendly and engaging and the 'pavillon' we had been allocated was spacious, well appointed and comfortable with a great view onto the vineyard... P de A is ideally situated for touring the nearby villages on the Cher, such as Montrichard and Chateau de Chenonceau. The place itself, though a work in progress, was quiet and peaceful. We hope to visit there again. The tour of the winery and tasting thereafter was a convivial to spend an evening - leading to some purchases before we left. The owners have hit on a winning formula for holidaying and I predict that it will be a success for some time to come.
Review 24:hospitality was excellent, very friendly and welcoming owner; he even makes table reservations to selected restaurants (the menus are available at b&b) and yes - the wines are excellent !
Review 25:Jean-Richard gave me a very warm welcome. He and Pierre (Aurelie wasabsent due to an accident) were absolutely friendly to their guests, although there were some problems (central heating did not work) and alot of work (harvesting time!). The appartment was nicely fitted andspacious. The breakfast was the best I've ever had in France.Special thanks again to Jean-Richard, he made my stay really great.
Review 26:Let me think.........nope can't think of anything.
Review 27:The hospitality was excellent, the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, when we arrived a restaurant was booked for us, we sat outside the b+b and we were given their wine to taste, what can I say, we were going to stop 1night but we ended up staying 2 nights and still didn't want to leave, very relaxing and would most definitely go back there again.
Review 28:Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Review 29:The room is big and overlooking the beautiful countryside. The owner and host very helpful, very friendly and speaks English well. Wine tasting is free and the wine is good. Also had a tour of the winery. Not expensive.
