Reviews for Greenacres
Review 1:Excellent accommodation, very clean and comfortable and in a peaceful location although not far off main A39 road. Owners friendly and welcoming and we liked the friendly ambience of a small b&b.
Review 2:June and Michael are the perfect hosts, in the perfect location with the perfect B & B. Everything was just fantastic! We would hope to return and would definitely recommend Greenacres to others.
Review 3:Nothing
Review 4:The room was well decored and comfy. The bathroom was huge and carpeted! The host, June, was extremely welcoming and helpful. We were made a cuppa when we arrived and were treated like friends. June's 4 Labradors were an added treat. Breakfast was very nice.
Review 5:It was very homely and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Also it was on one level and perfect for my husband who has a mobility problem. It was so comfortable and had a lounge and two comfortable chairs in our bedroom and a roomy shower in the bathroom. The bed was so comfortable. They even made us a cup of tea on arrival. Breakfast was beautiful with home-made jams and the house had so many nice touches. We will definitely recommend it to all our friends. The grounds were beautiful with a river running through. Like nearly all our stays, it was not in the middle of the town, because we chose to stay mainly at farm locations
Review 6:The property was advertised as having its own patio, which it did not have. There were no locks on the door, which is a basic expectation. I felt this led to a general lack of privacy.
Review 7:Clean room
Review 8:A beautiful B&B with stunning views. June and Michael are the most hospitable hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They made our stay extremely comfortable. The B&B itself was spotless, gorgeous room with a lovely en-suite. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options. Easily accessed and great location. Fantastic value for money. Thank you so much for everything. We will definitely visit again.
Review 9:No dressing table, so from woman's point of view nowhere for putting on makeup, though good light over sink no place for make-up,
Review 10:Everything, good sized rooms nice en-suite very clean and comfortable. Also host were excellent, nothing too much trouble. Will definitely return.a
Review 11:Very friendly and accommodating hosts. It's always difficult when you are booking for others and on this occasion we had to book four days for the in-laws arriving from Australia. They were bowled over with the beautiful views from the breakfast room and the very well-behaved pets. June catered for a gluten/dairy/preservative free diet each morning and bought in kippers when requested. Bed really comfortable and warm. We didn't have time to wander into the gardens but they are very well-maintained by Michael. Both rooms and en-suites were very clean and well-presented and with the use of the dining room in the evening we were able to play our traditional game of scrabble. Down a quiet lane, did not hear any traffic. Would not hesitate to book again if in the area. thank you from all of us.
Review 12:June balanced her amicable nature with a pleasant lack of intrusion making this an easy and relaxing stay. A lovely house with sweeping grounds and deliciously adorable dogs (kept away from the guest area), great location for Tintagel, Port Isaac etc. Super comfortable room with a bathroom the size of a small cathedral!
Review 13:It was a bit difficult to find, but that could be because we are coming from wide roads where everything is marked.
Review 14:June was awesome. The B&B was comfortable, had everything we could possibly need, a huge ensuite bathroom, and a delicious breakfast. She was super helpful when we needed advice on local attractions.
Review 15:limited don't menu, we one choice apart from omelette or salad. Cooked well and served with a smile but no real choice. Very noisy road and of you are in a front bedroom, as we were, not good at all.
Review 16:Fair price
Review 17:The Hosts, June & Michael made us feel very welcomed and at home. Thank you! Our room and bathroom were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Lovely breakfast. We will definitely come and stay here again!
Review 18:Parking space required some maneuvering to get out. No credit cards accepted.
Review 19:Stayed at Greenacres with friends for two nights. Rented both rooms, so felt like we had place to ourselves. June and Michael, the owners, were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean, nicely decorated and beds comfortable. Our bathroom was very spacious, spotless with lovely shower (no bath). Breakfast was great and very relaxing. There was a lounge that we could use too. Lovely views over the fields from breakfast room and lounge. Tintangel and Port Isaac some 20-30 mins by car. We were lucky to discover this little gem.
Review 20:Nothing to dislike
Review 21:The warmth and friendliness of the hosts June and Michael. Spent ten days here we were made to feel at home from day one. The fact we could have our pet
Review 22:The owners were really nice people. Very pleasant. Wished we had found it sooner, would have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend to all couples as a place to stay.
Review 23:Nothing at all.
Review 24:Lovely hosts with a genuine interest in travellers. Room was big with a large en-suite bathroom - both meticulously clean. Great breakfast.
Review 25:Difficult to find initially as tucked away
Review 26:Lovely location, bed was incredibly comfortable! We're made to feel very welcome, plus the cooked breakfast was amazing!
Review 27:There wan't anything I didn't like. Greenacres gave us 100% perfection.
Review 28:Greenacres is ideally located well-away from the occasionally busy A39 and lies peacefully within the lush Cornish countryside in a hamlet called Tregoodwell, near Camelford. It is a quality B&B and offers tourists the perfect stay. It is brilliant for visitors to Tintagel, Port Isaac and Boscastle, and I couldn't thank our hosts, June and Michael enough as they certainly enhanced our holiday break. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the beds are conducive to a good nights sleep. The breakfasts are delicious and the whole atmosphere is one of friendliness. we couldn't have had a more welcoming stay. Greenacres is without doubt one of the best B&B establishments I have ever stayed at and I would recommend them to anyone touring Cornwall. 100% satisfaction and top marks, and long may they continue offering such a wonderful service.
Review 29:June and Michael made my stay such a pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble! The breakfast was amazing, all local produce. The extra touches make all the difference too. I came back to the B&B at 11.30 pm. June had put the side lights on in my bedroom and lit a candle. If you have dogs then there is a fabulous area at the back to exercise them! Would highly recommend! Thank you
Review 30:Everything was fantastic
Review 31:On arrival we both received a very warm welcome from June and Michael. We were then introduced to what must be one of the largest, and best equipped en-suite rooms that we have ever stayed in. Everything was immaculate. The attention to even the smallest of details ensures that the guests at 'Greenacres' will thoroughly enjoy their stay. I must also mention that the breakfast was Superb. We have no hesitation in recommending 'Greenacres'...
Review 32:June & Michael made us so welcome that we are going back later in the year, Every Thing about our stay was outstanding cannot fault a thing. The best B&B we have stayed in.
Review 33:The bed was too soft for OUR liking.
Review 34:The welcome, the hosts were very friendly and could not do enough to accommodate us. A stunning breakfast, much choice.
Review 35:We arrived at 9pm, totally exhausted, after a 96 mile bike ride from Lands End through the most atrocious weather. June and Mike were so welcoming it was fantastic. Mike actually came out to look for us in his car. They let us put our bikes in their garage and didn't complain about the muddy state we were in bearing in mind how beautifully clean their house is! June even offered to cook a meal for us. Lovely place, nice people, would definitely stay again.
Review 36:We found exactly what we were after here in this little gem in Tregoodwell. And that means we will be coming back as soon as we can! We had the most relaxing time, met wonderful caring hosts, had a breakfast as delicious as it gets, all organic local (or home) produced products, and the back garden is simply beautiful. All this and pristine clean en-suite rooms. Thanks June and Michael and see you again soon!
Review 37:Spotless room. Superbly comfortable bed. En suite was like something out of a show house. Breakfast was much better than at any hotel where we have stayed. And only a 2 minute drive to the A39 and then on to the N. Cornwall beaches.
Review 38:The room was a very good size, clean, comfortable and lovely ensuite. The hosts June and Michael were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent cooked breakfast, dining room overlooked beautiful views of the fields and stream below. Would definitely recommend.
Review 39:Comfortable spacious room with beautiful furnishings and bathroom. Best breakfast anywhere with tomatoes from the garden. Hosts are friendly, helpful and very gracious. This was the best B&B experience of our trip.
Review 40:There was nothing my wife and i didn't like and we are so looking forward to our next visit.
Review 41:June and Michael were so welcoming and the property was everything we expected and more. The breakfast was cooked to perfection, the bed was so comfortable and we are planning to return in November. Green acres is the best place we have ever stayed in and I would score them a 10+ for our stay in every way.

Review 43:Large comfortable room and ensuite. June and Michael were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was great and the trout in the creek at the bottom of the garden were an added bonus. I can highly recommend.
Review 44:Absolutely no complaints whatsoever!
Review 45:The owners are very friendly (as are their dogs!) and the house is very well kept and in a beautiful setting. All the rooms are spotlessly clean and in a very nice/new condition. Very tasty breakfast with an amazing view out the back for an extremely good price. What more could you want?!
Review 46:Only thing to dislike was that we wished it was a longer break.
Review 47:Small and beautifully formed , we recieved a warm welcome on arrival , shown to our lovely room , manicured lawns lead down to the river with peace and tranquility to unwind .breakfast is served at a time to suit you and freshly prepared with local produce .this meal sets you up for the day exploring cornwall . Will be returning.
