Review 1：Bathroom could do with an upgrade. Tiles are falling off

Review 9：We had to wait to check in as it was a pub. It was a busy Saturday night and we had to stand and wait with our things. The fire alarm went off at 6.45 in the morning.
Review 10：The bathroom hadn't been renewed at the same time as the bedroom and was in a poor state of repair. In particular - there were long dark hairs on the bath (I'm blond and my husband has very short hair); lots of broken tiles around the bath; the main light didn't work; the shower constantly dripped. For £80 a night I expected better.

Review 12：It was a public house/hotel the manager 21yr old had not idea ofhow to run a hotel I say this as my son is a director of a major Hotelcompany the manager was dirty and untidy in appearance and was moreinterested in running a pub with loud music until 11pm so impossibleto stay in ones room with any degree of comfort, next there were onlyplasterboard wall and one could here conversations from the adjoiningrooms, next having to walk along the corridor to the bathroom (shared)Then there were the other guests (Builders) who were sick at the bar(Great I don't Think) and finally the price way way over the topits not even worth £25 per night in fact they should pay me forstaying there!!!!

Review 14：The noise from the extractor fan outside our Bedroom window kept us awake for while .A chair in the Bedroom would be good as there was nothing to sit on. I had stand up to dry my hair which was a bit awkward.
Review 15：Lovely welcome when we arrived to book in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice cooked Breakfast with good service. Clean room and comfy bed. Enjoyed the live Band too.

Review 20：Refurbishment was taking place with painters in the corridor area. Carpets in corridor grubby. Poor/non-existent wi-fi in bedroom. Poor TV reception. No wardrobe or chest of drawers in bedroom. Nowhere to hang towels. Furniture was of cheapest quality. No room service to make beds, replenish tea/coffee. No 'extras' like shampoo, shower gel or hair drier which would be expected in similarly priced hotels.

Review 22：Very dirty room and hallways. Staff were so poor and acted as if they didn't care. We had to wait for 15 minutes for them to find our room-key when checking in, and then had to wait for almost an hour because a delivery lorry was blocking the car-park exit.

Review 26：The hotel didn't look clean inside, very scruffy but the room itself and the bathroom were ok. There was only one hook in the room so there were no place to hang your clothes or towels.
Review 27：I loved my bed and slept very well. The hotel is right in the centre of Brecon, which is very convenient. Also next to Morrison superstore.
