Review 15:Lesley and Steve are great host, they provide great rooms and fantastic breakfast and facilities. Great area knowledge and certainly knows where to recommend to go for a meal or great views. We felt like family.
Review 16:Only one negative was the reasonably busy road alongside the property but double glazed windows helped with this.
Review 17:The room was lovely, bottled water available each day, the option to use the sitting room if we wished and such warm friendly hosts. The breakfast was especially nice with homemade yoghurt included.
Review 18:Steve and Lesley were very welcoming and friendly; they were extremely helpful and had plenty of good recommendations about the area; breakfast was lovely; despite the house being right next to a fast road and shaking slightly when a big vehicle comes along I slept like a baby every night!
Review 19:Very welcoming and friendly hosts who could not do enough to ensure that our stay with them was perfect. Very helpful with suggestions of where to eat locally, the best pubs and places to visit. Our room was of a very high standard as were all the other facilities at the house and the breakfasts were excellent.
Review 20:Nothing!
Review 21:Lesley and Steve were lovely, helpful and friendly hosts - they welcomed us on arrival with a cup of tea and Steve helped bring our bags in. They helped with local info and advised us on choices for dinner (the Mason Arms which was wonderful!). Our room was very comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was served in the sunroom overlooking the garden, with choices from the full English to fresh berries salad, cereals and home made yoghurt, Be aware that wifi is available in the lounge but not in the bedroom due to the thickness of the walls of historic Helstone House. We could not recommend Helstone House highly enough!
Review 22:My only very small concern was cooking smells from kitchen drifting up to my room. Be good to try and fix that if they can. But NOT a deal breaker.
Review 23:The details are what sets this b and b apart. Cosy room. Extreme clean and fresh with tiny but perfectly serviceable bathroom. Breakfasts were of high quality with homemade jams and local produce. Lovely hosts also.

Review 91:A very warm welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was spotless and the food was excellent and a really good choice all served with a friendly smile and greeting.
Review 92:It's out of town so no bus service, and as they're located on a busy road, maneuvering for parking space can be problematic.
Review 93:This bed and breakfast is in a wonderful historical building which has been renovated. Lovely older couple make visitors very much at home. I loved it!
Review 94:The location was unsuitable for walks being on very busy main road with no safe area for walking. The busy traffic made the room very noisy if the windows were opened. I would have liked the room to have a small fridge for keeping drinks cool,
Review 95:the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. we had access to the pleasant seating area in the garden. The room was en-suite.
Review 96:An excellent base for touring the Cornwall area. The hosts were willing to please and the rooms are very well appointed with quality linen and furnishings. Breakfast was terrific. Providing fresh milk in our room in a thermo jug was far better than the little thimbles full of UHT milk you get at other places. The welcoming pot of tea in the garden was much appreciated.

Review 106:The B&B is right by the road so there was a bit of traffic noise. We were there on a hot summer night and had the windows open. We suggested a fan to the owner so perhaps they will get one to block out some noise and keep the room cooler on hot evenings.
Review 107:The owners were very friendly and have done a lovely job renovating and updating this quaint country cottage. Stephen is passionate about the area and loves running the B&B. The breakfast he lovingly prepared was excellent and made with fresh local ingredients.
