Review 2:Sally and her husband were impressive hosts, giving us advice on where to eat/visit and even giving us a lift down to the centre of Cowes. The location was excellent for access to the town centre and travel around the Island. Very good breakfast cooked to order. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room on the ground floor was spacious, comfortable with a good sized bathroom with bath and shower. All very clean. We would definitely visit Mimosa Lodge again.

Review 18:Lovely b&b in Cowes great place to stay to visit the island, large beautiful room & en suite, owner very pleasant & welcoming. Only three rooms so very personnel would go back again.
Review 19:Location is not perfect but the owner was very generous with offers of lifts to and from the town centre, and location did not prove to be an issue.
Review 20:Fantastic room with balcony and wonderful views.
Review 21:The house is a little out of the way and you have to walk a few minutes to reach the bus stop or ferry but that's not really a problem and Sally always offered to drive us there!
Review 22:The house and the rooms are lovely and the owners are very sweet and helpful. The breakfast was great including really nice yoghurts and fresh fruit. You really couldn't ask for a better place to stay in. We will definitely return!!
Review 23:Head height was a little limited in some places, due to sloping ceilings. There was no shaver point in the room but Sally was happy to loan us an adapter.
Review 24:The house has very good noise insulation so that we were never disturbed by other guests. Sally was always happy to help us with any questions we had when planning excursions.
Review 25:Friendly host, beautiful and spacious room, and wonderful view from the balcony ensured a lovely stay. On-site parking also a big bonus, and excellent instructions provided on how to find the house. Delicious breakfast.
Review 26:We loved the seclusion in the beautiful, peaceful garden with space to safely leave our bikes. The room was very comfortable with everything you need. The shower was perfect with thick, white, warm towels and lots of tea, coffee, milk, bottled water etc provided in the room. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied, good quality and very tasty.
Review 27:If I have to say something under this heading, I would say that a second comfortable sitting chair would have been welcome and there is plenty of room for it!
Review 28:Everything! From location to comfort and peacefulness to friendliness. Stayed in the loft conversion which was perfect in every manner: Plenty of space, light, a balcony & super view over The Solent. A Boutique B&B but with 5* comfort with freshly cooked breakfast & WiFi throughout... Plus but not least, a wonderful hostess that really tries to ensure a perfect stay! Well done and certainly have no hesitation to recommend to anyone.
Review 29:Mimosa Lodge is lovely and incredibly well maintained. The room was really lovely - bright, spotless, spacious and comfortable. Sally was very welcoming and helpful and even gave us a lift to the wedding we were attending!
Review 30:nothing - we cycled up the hill to find it and it was well worth the climb.
Review 31:Great welcome. Comfortable wide bed, fantastic shower, fine views from the balcony.
Review 32:Sally was a fund of accurate helpful information, especially on where to eat. The breakfasts were delicious in the dining room looking out on the garden.
Review 33:There is nothing bad to say about this B&B
Review 34:The whole experience of staying here is a delight - this is NOT a generic same every where purple room - this is a unique experience where you are totally spoilt and pampered - NOTHING is too much trouble - beautiful home that you are encouraged to enjoy.
Review 35:Sally was a great host and make sure we felt welcome. Breakfast included lovely fresh fruit and a good choice of hot menu as well as cereal. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable.
Review 36:The time went too quickly!!
Review 37:We booked mimosa lodge on the back of reading consistently excellent reviews and we are more than happy to add to that collection. From start to finish Sally, the owner was welcoming and helpful - going above and beyond, giving several lifts into cowes, recommending places to go and even liaised with my girlfriend to buy and keep safe a surprise birthday cake ahead of our arrival! We had the top room which was faultlessly clean, spacious & comfortable with beautiful views from the balcony. The bathroom was massive with a big powerful shower and bath perfect after a cold day out. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All in all, a home away from home that we will certainly book again.
Review 38:We had a wonderful stay from day one. We stayed for 4 nights. We received a great hospitality from Sally, the owner. Sally was very friendly, kind and generous. The breakfast was superb. The location was great, very close to the sea side walk. The view from the balcony room was stunning and refreshing. The whole property was kept neat and tidy. Sally was very kind and she drove us to the town centre everyday which was very useful to us. She also offered to pick us up from the ferry terminal on the day of arrival as well as to drop off on the day of departure. The location and the hospitality weighs far more than the price paid for the B&B. We would strongly recommend Mimosa Lodge. We thank Sally for making our stay a memorable one. Hoping to come back again!
Review 39:breakfast was really good with hot tea and good conversation. Always ready to pick up and drop of us to the nearest commuting point. Friendly, knowledgable couple who made us feel like a real guest at home.

Review 41:The top bedroom with balcony and amazing view over the Solent & the evening sun was stunning. Huge modern bathroom, excellent breakfasts with local produce & a 15 minute walk into Cowes and good restaurants. Sally is a great host & we would highly recommend Mimosa Lodge to all family and friends considering visiting the Island
Review 42:It was a shame our room had no view as we were ground floor. Also two twin beds when pushed together are just not as comfortable.
Review 43:Friendly hosts. Breakfast room with a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was perfectly cooked, very good quality. A lovely house to stay in.
Review 44:Lovely house in an excellent location about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town, an extremely pleasant hostess, and a substantial breakfast with locally sourced produce- one could not ask for anything more!
Review 45:There wasn't a thing to find fault with
Review 46:We arrived on Sep 25th in our beautiful kingsize room and bathroom that were truly luxurious and as described on the website. On arrival we were served a welcome tray of tea on our delightful balcony overlooking the Solent and pretty garden by Sally who owns Mimosa Lodge.Sally puts a lot of thought into caring for her guests always with a lovely smile making us feel at home, something you just don't experience in most hotels hence we prefer, when touring to search out this standard of B & B.We booked a 3 night stay and breakfast was again upto expectations, beautifully presented choices from bowls of fresh fruit, cerials and juices to a full English breakfast which arrived piping hot and delectable while sitting in the dining room with French windows overlooking the pretty furnished terrace. We had a lovely Italian meal at a restaurant in Ryde called Michaelangelo's and another delicious meal in Yarmouth at The Bugle Inn.The principle reason to visit the Isle of Wight was Osbourne House,Queen Victoria and Prince Alberts own home that they built to use for holidays with their 9 children,we have now thanks to Osbourne toured every royal .home in the UK and would say that it joins one or two others on the top of our list being spectacular in its rooms, terraces, gardens and it's own private beach where we enjoyed afternoon tea at the pretty Victorian style tea room there sitting by the sandy beach looking out onto the Solent.....bliss. Thank you Sally for making our stay special...Helen and Brian Norbury
Review 47:The rooms are wonderful with amazingly comfy beds. The owner is extremely hospitable and was keen to ensure we had a great stay. The hotel is just a walk away from the bars and restaurants of cowes.
Review 48:We booked a seven night break at mimosa lodge, on arrival met by sally who showed us to our lovely room with the balcony fantastic views of the Solent. The breakfast was excellent , fresh fruit salad and Sally,s poached eggs were to die for. Already recommend mimosa lodge to family and friends.
Review 49:This is a lovely house, full of character, with really spacious comfortable rooms. Our breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the dining area lent itself to pleasant chat among the guests. Sally could not have been more helpful or made us more welcome.
Review 50:The room was beautiful, very large with great bathroom, and lovely view over the garden. The breakfast was tasty and the welcome from our hosts was warm and friendly.
Review 51:Nothing at all.
Review 52:The nicely decorated cosy room (it's even got a lovely reading corner with lots of books & plenty of tea/coffee supplies and Kit Kats!), the comfy beds & pillows and especially Sally's very welcoming and personal attention that made our stay most pleasant. Parking is free on site and the wifi connection is fast and fuss-free. Breakfast is good, especially the crispy and crackling bacon served with perfectly poached eggs which I like very much. Mimosa Lodge is an excellent quiet little place to rest and rejuvenate after our hectic travels around the UK. I hope to enjoy Sally's hospitality again on my next visit to Isle of Wight.
Review 53:The car parking was at the end of the garden so you could enter from the garden and it felt welcoming, like I was visiting a friend. Sally had corresponded with me offering help with regard to Osborne House so there was a familiarity. The house was on different levels as was the garden and it was light, bright and airy. Great attention to detail throughout and twin room with a bath in the ensuit.
Review 54:As we travelled without a car, it was quite a long walk for us to get into the town and back.
Review 55:Lovely friendly welcome, nice big room and bathroom, great breakfast.
Review 56:The facilities were far better than many of the big hotels we have stayed in. The bedroom was superb, the en suite was fabulous and everything was immaculately clean; the views from our room of the Solent were simply stunning. Coffee, tea, chocolate, water and fresh milk was available in our room. The breakfast menu was wide and varied catering for just about everyone. If you wanted a cooked breakfast it was cooked freshly for you when you were ready. The hospitality was second to none, both Jeremy and Sally are very genuine, kind, gracious hosts who really care that you enjoy your stay with them. I would highly recommend a stay in Mimosa Lodge.
