Reviews for Onefifty
Review 1:There was nothing I didn't like.
Review 2:The hotel was immaculate, family were very helpful and nothing was too much for them to do. Lot of choice for Breakfast and all cooked with fresh and local produce.
Review 3:What a find. Beautiful room, incredibly welcoming and accommodating hosts. Great breakfast. Could not recommend highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble, felt like a home from home.
Review 4:Paula was very obliging, offered me a lift from the Red Jet ferry quay and had bought in gluten free and milk free foods in response to my request at the time of booking. The room was very comfortable and the interior decor was lovely . Breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented.
Review 5:Modern and stylish B&B 7 min walk from Cowes High Street with lots of dining options, comfy bed, smart and clean bathroom, excellent quality breakfast, friendly and helpful owner, free parking space
Review 6:Nothing
Review 7:The location was excellent -- a short (uphill) walk or brief bus ride from the passenger ferry terminal in Cowes, and only a few steps from a bus stop that connected riders to the whole island. Our room overlooked the Solent and was absolutely spotless, as well as being comfortable and welcoming. Paula was friendly and informative about restaurants and attractions on the Isle of Wight, and the breakfast was simply fabulous -- varied (including fresh fruit) and beautifully presented. Paula dropped us off at the terminal on our return to the mainland.
Review 8:Friendly staff. Went out of their way collected and dropped off at the ferry port. Not sure if you had feather pillows or not. I should have asked. Thanks for everything. It's very much appreciated. Nice family run hotel.
Review 9:Very comfy beds, awesome breakfast, and lovely host family. We had a fantastic stay and woke up refreshed. I would go as far as to say the bed and duvet was the comfiest I have slept in other than my own. I would stay here again - really lovely place.
Review 10:The room was not big enough for a double. It was really a single bedroom size with a double bed in it. It was not big enough for bedside tables and nowhere to store luggage. Coffee making arrangement was in a cupboard and the jug had to be boiled on the floor.
Review 11:Very clean, very good breakfast. Good location
Review 12:Everything. Paula is the perfect host. Friendly, informative, flexible around breakfast timings and even picked us up and dropped us back at the ferry port. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Review 13:This did not affect me but there is no electric shaving point in the bathroom
Review 14:Really stylish B&B with lots of tasteful attention to detail. Lovely room, bed, linen, bathroom and a great breakfast with proper, freshly squeezed orange juice. Paula could not have been more welcoming and helpful including a free, personal taxi service to and from town.
Review 15:There was nothing we did not like, although maybe not great if you were disabled.
Review 16:It was a lovely clean bright modern place, with a lovely couple running it. Breakfast was first class. Location great for Cowes and restaurants.
Review 17:Lovely house, great room, excellent breakfast and a lovely host. Paula could not have done more for us. tea and cake on arrival for instance - how good is that!
Review 18:This is,quite simply, one of the best guest houses I've ever stayed in.The owners have thought of everything and the welcome was both warm and genuine. Just excellent, in every way.
Review 19:The owner was so accommodating and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The room was light and spacious and spotless. Breakfast was relaxing and generous.
Review 20:If I had to absolutely be picky...sausages at breakfast were teenie tiny
Review 21:Very friendly chatty owner, brilliantly clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and owner very knowledgable and helpful about the area
Review 22:The wifi in the top rooms was a little patchy. A booster is required
Review 23:Clean, modern, friendly and good breakfasts. Paula and Mark are wonderful hosts and the location is great, a short walk into town and a bus stop a hundred yards away for Newport and beyond.
Review 24:No room to work on laptop in bedroom. Drive only has room for two cars with no guarantee of a space.
Review 25:Room very bright and airy. Bed very comfortable.
Review 26:Bathroom to small not enough shelving or cupboard space, no alarm lock / radio. No phone to contact reception no dressing table with mirror.
Review 27:It was very clean, nice decor, fresh flowers, fruits and chocolate in room.
Review 28:Can't really think of anything.
Review 29:Fairly compact room but very nicely thought out with regard to facilities including fresh fruit, tea tray etc. Nice view of sea out of juliet balcony window. Very nice breakfast in conservatory with fresh orange juice and fruit included.
Review 30:Cannot think of anything to improve this place and hope that Paula will always have only nice and appreciative guests!
Review 31:Liked everything! Paula did everything to make our stay a really wonderful experience. Stylish, luxurious rooms, excellent breakfast and lots of thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, chocolates. All 4 of us loved this place (we've all travelled lots).
Review 32:I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Cowes - I cannot recommend the bed and breakfast highly enough! I'll be heading back very soon.
Review 33:A lovely well appointed room, everything and more than many Guest houses we have stayed in that were far more expensive,Flowers, fruit, excellent choice of teas in room.and every corner spotless. Breakfast was the very best choice and quality. Paula is doing a fantastic job, would recommend highly.
Review 34:If I wanted to be picky, a lack of bedside tables could be an irritation, while the shower was a little claustrophobic, but these were functions of the property layout rather than proprietor neglect, and they didn't detract from a very pleasant experience.
Review 35:Paula and Mark certainly understand proper service, and the rooms were pretty and clean. Breakfast was excellent.
Review 36:Nothing we didnt like.
Review 37:Made very welcome when we arrived. Shown to our room and offered tea and coffee and biscuits. The owners made sure we were settled in and asked if everything was ok and did we need anything. We had no complaints. Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Good choice for breakfast. The cooked breakfast was well cooked and well presented. Fresh orange juice and coffee. I would recomend this place to anyone. We would stay here again on our next trip to cowes.
Review 38:Parking might be an issue - only a few minutes away but uphill!
Review 39:Friendly, super clean, lovely breakfast. Made really welcome and felt like I was being pampered.
Review 40:We had a lovely stay over the weekend. Paula was wonderful and couldn't have been a better host. The breakfast was amazing for a B&B which was nice. The rooms are spacious and well designed.
Review 41:there was no light above the sink bathroom a little small
Review 42:Easy access location Lovely hosts, very friendly but leave you to do your own business Tasteful design of the house and the room Fresh fruit and chocolates in the room every day 7min walk to the main bar and restaurants area
Review 43:Excellent welcome without being fussy. Tea on arrival was very welcome as we had been cycling in the dark, Spotlessly clean and relaxing décor. Wonderful breakfast.
Review 44:A very warm welcome which continued throughout our 4 day stay.Anexcellent breakfast menu, freshly prepared. No complaints - we are happyand look forward to repeating the experience.
Review 45:Lovely welcome and beautiful room to stay in. I would have no hesitation in recommending the place. When I ate my fantastic breakfast in the conservatory with the sun streaming in I wished I had another night to spend there.
Review 46:Onefifty is in a great location, easy walking distance to Cowes and the port. The room we stayed in was lovely, clean and well-decorated. We were also provided with coffee-making facilities and little sweet treats! There are some great restaurants in Cowes, which were all walking distance. Had a great time.
Review 47:We are tall people, and a full-size bed is crowded for us. There is sufficient room in the suite for a larger bed if the hosts choose to invest in one.
Review 48:Location - just outside of town Facilities - excellent! Breakfast - wonderful! Host (Paula) - lovely!
Review 49:There was nothing I didn't like .

Review 51:There is nothing not to like!!
Review 52:The one fifty is a fantastic place, room loverly, welcoming and very clean! breakfast was amazing, very tasty and well presented and it makes all the differance
Review 53:Everything was great: spotlessly clean, contemporary and carefully thought out room. Offered to pick us up from ferry in the rain. Food excellent, and nibbles in room very welcome. Liked the pair of binoculars to inspect the coastline!
Review 54:Room was lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. Would highly recommend it to anybody.
Review 55:I should have checked that the twin room didn't have too many stairs before booking in for myself and my elderly grandmother (86) as it was on the second floor (breakfast on lower ground) though my fault for not checking and my grandmother laughed it off.
Review 56:The owner was lovely and very hospitable. Everything was spotlessly clean and also high quality - from the delicious breakfast each day to the bedlinen and bathroom toiletries.
Review 57:We were on the top floor and could clearly hear the conversation of the people in the next room as the wall was so thin. This was even more disturbing when they were using their mobiles. The shower room was very small and the sink was tiny. We could not get a signal on the wifi, probably because our room was so high up. The rooms on the first floor seemed much better.
Review 58:Paula was very welcoming, breakfast was very nice and the accommodation was beautifully clean. The walk into town was only about 10 minutes so you did not need to take a car. There was parking available at the B&B
Review 59:Great attention to detail and customer comfort.. bowl of fresh fruit, hot drinks available on arrival, free transport to ferry terminals on request etc,, all furnishings bedding etc of top quality. Excellent breakfast included in price
Review 60:I have stayed here 4 or 5 times over the last 3years and it never fails to impress. Smart immaculately clean rooms . Warm friendly welcome, nothing is too much trouble. 5* breakfasts. Very good value for money.
Review 61:None
Review 62:First of all Paula is running this B&B with excellent care and attention to all details possible. If weather permits breakfast is served in the garden, otherwise in pleasant, light extension to the house. We had a room at the very quite garden-side ("Culver"). The light room had a very good bed and has all comfort needed. Instead of 2 nights, we stayed for 5 nights. For us the best B&B we have ever chosen.
Review 63:No kettle in the room White carpets, walls and bedding (makes me very nervous about my make up and shoes!) Narrow stairs with ornaments displayed on the central landing (wary of knocking things with my bags!)
Review 64:Large comfortable bed Large powerful warm shower Stylish bathroom Attentive landlady Pleasant family home Well designed Very clean room Wonderful breakfast Walking distance to Cowes
Review 65:The walk uphill from the harbour if you arrived on foot, although Paula our landlady did offer to collect us from the ferry terminal if she was available at the time.

Review 72:Fabulous B&B. We were made to feel so welcome and attention to every detail first class. Delicious breakfasts served in the conservatory/garden.
Review 73:Nothing!
