Reviews for L'Alpage

Review 1:The beds in the family room sag a little in the middle, but the room itself is huge.

Review 2:This was our second visit to L'Alpage. The hotel staff are wonderful, the rooms and bathrooms are wonderful, and everything down to the last detail such as the cuckoo clock seems to be just right.

Review 3:After a little mix up with check in, everything got sorted and really enjoyed staying here - rooms are amazing and have great balconies overlooking the slopes. Close walk to some great skiing and lovely restaurants. The food in L'Alpage us really nice and it was great value too. Stay here if you want to ski in grand bornand.

Review 15:This town, and this hotel (more like an inn) are like stepping into The Sound of Music. Beautiful chalet, huge room, great dining room, lovely terraces. Staff were wonderful and made us feel so at home. The beds were delicious with super white linens, the bathroom modern and bigger than average. Food in the inn is excellent. Price in May was very reasonable. Inn has great views of the alps, and the surrounding area is breathtaking. Mountains, valleys, goats, sheep, cows with bells ringing. Only 1 hour drive to Mont Blanc, and every minute of that is amazingly gorgeous. We would highly recommend L'Alpage to anyone and everyone.

Review 16:Owner was a bit stressed and unpleasent when we arrived for some reason. You can't have your own food in the hotel area.

Review 17:Price Good breakfast (extra cost)

Review 21:The beds were very small and it did take us a long time to find someone to check in which was a bit strange.

Review 22:The hotel was very cosy and comfortable. For what we paid for the room, I thought it was very good value for money and felt like we were very welcome.

Review 23:Amazing view off the porch. Very nice host, and ready to help whenever required. We loved the decor of the lobby and the rooms. We enjoyed a walk in the village, and the view of the mountains and valley. Place to return to.
