Review 1：the bar below us was extremly noisey, both from the regulars an the juke box. which we were told would be off at 10.0clock. but on one occassion was still playing after midnight.so we had very little sleep over our stay.also the last morning at breakfast there was three dogs with owners in the dining room.i think this is more of a public house than a hotel. very disapionted.

Review 3：The shower unfortunately lets it down. Very little pressure and scalding hot with no control. There was a sign explaining how it works but this was totally inaccurate information.

Review 5：Paying extra for a "DELUX ROOM" No ensuite, curtains didn't fit bay window. Electric power down to ONE SET OF PLUGS. Noise from Bar below. Bathroom and Toilet down corridor no toilet paper. Door did not comply with fire regulations. Second-hand Dining Room furniture didn't match. Worst accommodation for past 60 years. Absolute Joke.

Review 7：in desperate need of refurbished ! Had to share a bathroom with the whole floor. Very dirty! When we tried to get out early the hotel was locked and we had to use the fire exit. Not worth the £80 we paid for the room! Very disappointing.

Review 13：Very warm welcome and friendly staff. Very accommodating e.g. willing to change time of breakfast to an earlier time. Good parking facilities immediately outside the entrance.
Review 14：The young lady in reception and also the maintenance man, went out of their way to help. The maintenance man suggested we visit the Aquaduct, which is only a few minutes away, it was nothing short of spectacular.
Review 15：No en-suite, wifi did not reach 2nd floor.Only one on duty in am to cook and serve breakfast-fortunately I was not in a hurry. Main problem was having to go out to eat evening meal. Meant I was unable to have an aperitif or alcohol with food.

Review 17：We will not be going back. I believe the hotel has just changed hands and although the staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be they have obviosuly been thrown in to the deep end without any training. On the first morning there were no eggs for breakfast as the ones they had were al cracked and could not be used and on the morning we departed we could not gain acces to the dining room or downstairs level as the door leading into it had been locked from the otherside. Together with another family my wife and I had to push open the fire escape door on the first floor to leave the hotel. Needles to say there was no one around at 8.40am to serve breakfast or to talk to. We left at 8.45a without breakfast that we had paid for and I have since been wondering if they have ceased trading!! The fact we had paid £75 per room per night for 6 nights and other rooms were being let for £60 just for a one night stay didn't help. We wil not be going back.
Review 18：A couple of things fell apart or were out of order and were not fixed till the next day. With pub accommodation, you expect some noise and from that point of view my room was not well-placed: there was a fairly high level of late-night noise two nights out of four.

Review 29：Friendly owners. Good location for visiting Aquaduct and not far from Llangollen, Chirk, Oswestry. As they are in the process of refurbishment to conservation standards, some allowances have to be made. Sure it will be lovely when completed.
