Review 1：The decor was very tired and could do with some updating. The curtains were actually ripping due to the age of the fabric.
Review 2：Apartment was a good size with everything we needed and a balcony to sit on although the view was of a residential street. The weekend only restaurant that traded from the property was very good.
Review 3：- no real bed, only a bed-couch (a bit short) - old building and old equipment - lot of rain => water on the ceiling in flat (top) and reception

Review 5：paid 80 euros to sleep on an old sofa bed. The cheapest hostel in Montpellier would of been better. The rooms are old and shabby, no air con etc. They deliberately take payment from your card to avoid complaints the next morning

Was quite uncomfortable after that. While they did offer a slight discount, they didn't offer a fan ... had to buy one ... nor a room change. Only had one set of towels for 2 guests ... had to ask for an extra at the front desk next day ... only open from 3:30 to 5:30 afternoons w/ check in after 4:00

Review 27：We arrived at 6:30pm so within check-in time (meant to be until 7pm) and wanting to pay cash only to find out that the night had already been debited from the foreign card used to book the hotel (not a great surprise from a budget point of view). We also received emails just before arrival stating that basics needed to be paid for as extras (e.g. sheets, tv, etc) which on arrival turned out not to apply to bookings made on booking.com. This was however quite confusing. The bathroom wasn't clean and the corridors smelt of rubbish (the room didn't).
Review 28：The beds were clean, the air con worked and free parking on the premises was very handy in Montpellier. The receptionist allowed us to leave bags in a locked area for the day which again was very handy.
Review 29：Smell of smoking in both the room and communal areas. General awareness and smell of unclean areas. Very basic accommodation. Prepaid for cleaning but notes given to us with keys advised cleaning would be charged if apartment was found to require cleaning.
Review 30：Bed was comfortable and clean except for what appeared to be animal hairs on the bed cover and floors. Clean towels and hot water.
Review 31：We checked in Saturday evening and left Monday morning and there were no staff available to correct missing towels, broken lights, and missing sheets for bed. The room was dirty with excrement on the walls of the bathroom. We tried calling the after hours emergency contact number, left a message and no one responded. The pool was not open during our entire stay. This could be a nice hotel with a nice location with a little improvement in maintenance and cleanliness with accessible reception staff or response to after hours request. Would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made.

Review 41：This facility is not a hotel. It does not offer 24 hour concierge. There is nobody at the reception between 7:00PM and 8:00 AM. Therefore, if a guest was to arrive after 7:00PM, checking in would be impossible. Guests are provided a code to enter the facility.
Review 42：The kitchen had a few cooking tools, dishes and glasses. The room was simple but extremely spacious. We loved the terrace. The parking lot was very usefull.

Review 45：This complex has virtually no onsite service personnel. The receptiondesk is only open for three hours in the morning and three hours in theafternoon. Only a couple of hours all day on Sunday.We came out of our room one early evening and realised we had not brought the key (which is was a clunky mechanical item with a half pound fob – not a card as most places have). The notice outside the CLOSED reception desk had an “Emergency Telephone Number” - it also had a telephone number for a “Locksmith”. On phoning the “Emergency Number” we were told to contact the “Locksmith”. This we did and he got us into the room at a cost of 85 Euros by using a “house breaking technique” Nearly every apartment door on our floor exhibited the same damage as this technique causes. In some cases obviously repeatedly. In a normal hotel guests leaving their room and forgetting the key is a normal occurrence easily rectified by staff at the reception desk. At the SUN CITY APPART HOTEL a guest’s absentmindedness is considered to be a means to make EXTRA MONEY and rip off the guest. DO NOT TOUCH THIS PLACE WITH A BARGE POLE.

Review 50：Reception was only open certain hours and closed on Sunday. We had towait inna nearby cafe for 2 hrs for reception to open so we could checkin. Our towels were changed the 1st day but not after that. Theapartment is basic enough so if you go expecting this thereshouldn't be a problem.
