Review 1：The hotel is in desperate need of maintenance. It has rotting timber everywhere and hasn't been painted for years. The restaurant was closed and there is nothing within walking distance, that's if would dare walk in this area at night!

Review 3：Only bad thing is that it's out of the city. But it's a bus ride and 10 minute walk away ! I'd call and ask for directions.

Review 5：No elevator. No porter available for those not able to haul their bags to upper floors, though that was not an issue for me. Travelers with limited strength or disabled must request room on first floor Not the hotel's fault but google maps (usually 100% reliable) did not guide us to correct location. Bathtub only, no shower in the two rooms that I and traveling partners stayed in. Overall, property is a bit tired but has charm.

Review 6：We knew when we booked this was an eclectic choice and required a cab ride to city center/restaurants... which proved to be accurate. Nice outside balcony space with interesting flora on grounds. No comment re restaurant as did not dine there. Observation: several repeat business guests checked in at same time we did. Good choice if you do not want to drive into city center

Review 7：The hotel is out of town, a 10 minute walk to the tram stop and then a 10 minute tram ride right into the centre. But is is an oasis out of town, so depends what you are looking for.

Review 8：The staff were exceptionally helpful, thank you. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The pool and pool area was lovely, and could happily spend the day in the grounds in the dappled shade of the trees. It was better than we expected. You have to accept that it is slightly dated, perhaps more faded elegance, but beautifully colonial in feel. Rooms were very clean and comfortable though

Review 9：a bit annoying was the gardener who used to clean the yard every day with a motor vacuum. surely, the fallen leafs could be as easily removed with a broom and it would definetely be less noisy.

Review 10：i had already stayed in the hotel a few years ago and really wanted to go back there. the house, the garden and all the atmosphere is just very beautiful and romantic. it really feels like holidays and we would go there again anytime. they have a nice garden restaurant with friendly staff and good food.
