Reviews for Villa Bellagio Euromedecine
Review 1:its not worth the money. its not clean at all, we had already emailed about arriving late with small kids, the sofa bed wasnt even opened, and it was so dirty, it wasnt proper at all, the place looks like a damp, a deception. not to recommend.
Review 2:Public areas badly need decorating
Review 3:The most pleasant and helpful young female receptionist of our entire two weeks in France. Room spacious and well designed
Review 4:Maybe some guest was kind of noisy, but you hear that only otside the hotel - in rooms is very silent, you hear only fridge somethimes. Hallway kind of dirty, but rooms very clean.
Review 5:For that price, a perfect hotel. Very good localization, big store very near. Cheap underground parking and free on the street. Very big rooms, with a fridge and good working air condition.
Review 6:The walls and the ceiling were not clean (there were a number of already dead mosquitos or other insects)
Review 7:Very safe car park Nice location if you want to see more than montpellier and travel around with a car Air conditioning Very comfortable bed
Review 8:The room was located next to the doors which were very noisy as they kept slamming soon as anyone went through. The noise came from the floor we were in as well as the floor above, a change to the type of doors used would help make the rooms more peaceful around the doors, if in doubt with this please request your staff to try either of the rooms located close to the doors and share the experience this may help,
Review 9:The overall service was very good the staff were friendly and very helpful. This was a good location with secure car parking and a good value for money hotel with adequate services provided.
Review 10:Walking distance from a Casino Supermarket, and two minutes by car from a parking and tram station. Easier to use the tram to visit Montpellier Town centre.
Review 11:far from city center
Review 12:room is huge and very clean bathroom is huge, clean and has a bathtub loads of facilities, bed is huge and comfortable close to supermarket, easy to find
Review 13:The hall carpets were dirty. In front of the hotel there is a small garden, however the benches and chairs were dirty as well. Staff wasn't friendly....
Review 14:Room offered a lot of space. Fridge was available inside the room. Fast internet was available.
Review 15:It was filthy, out of date, the fire alarm went off twice in the early hours of the morning. Not one member of staff could be seen. No fire checks or helping guests. No apology the following morning. I wouldn't put a dog in that room.
Review 16:No where to eat nearby and staff weren't helpful! I think the tram was a good 10-15 min walk but it was late and we needed to eat so drove into the centre of Montpellier. Very noisy fridge in the room (had to switch it off). Second bed was not made up and it was a shabby stained sofa bed that tilted to one side and was uncomfortable. Generally a rather shabby/tired looking room. Breakfast wasn't included and by the time I'd paid for 4 of us it made the hotel bill expensive.
Review 17:The main bed was comfortable and breakfast was ok.
Review 18:Lino floor tiles, have to hold shower-not attached to wall, exposed plumbing, cracks in the walls, tiny TV, cold and unfriendly rooms, receptionists not very helpful, nowhere to eat, the area is scary and not nice, no kettle, iron or hair dryer. Not really pleasant at all. We were thankful we were only staying one night passing through. Wouldn't recommend.
Review 19:Nice outdoor area for smoking.
Review 20:Photos are not showing the reality in the rooms. Not cleaned rooms, extra bed dirty. Staff not interested in customers. Wifi really poor. Breakfast poor. Not value for money.
Review 21:Near by a shopping place and parking place easy to get.
Review 22:Underground closed parking for few Euros. Good breakfast and room for the money. The location is good when working in this area.
Review 23:Journey too far from Montpellier
Review 24:Nothing
Review 25:Tramway station is far Smell of cigarette inside the room
Review 26:Without noise Price is fair
Review 27:Breakfast Hygiene
Review 28:Location
Review 29:No restaurant or bar and nothing decent nearby
Review 30:Large comfortable room
Review 31:It was situated in an area with no facilities and it was difficult to get anything to eat when we arrived after 5pm
Review 32:Very helpful reception
Review 33:This hotel was quite a long way from the town center. There were very few restaurants nearby (MacDonald's and a cheap cafeteria). OK for business people not holidayers.
Review 34:The hotel quality declines with years and the rooms are not always really clean.
Review 35:I appreciated the location near the universities and near a supermarket. The rooms are spacious and own a fridge.
Review 36:No restaurants nearby were open when we wanted something to eat but we ordered a pizza via reception. The floor covering was lino tiles which were a bit grubby in places. No holder for the shower but good pressure.
Review 37:A large spacious room with a comfortable bed. Parking available. Breakfast was included and was OK.
Review 38:Can not specify anything definitely
Review 39:Good location (personally for me, maybe not for everybody), quiet and friendly atmosphere. 24 hour reception. Reasonable price.
Review 40:Bathroom not as good as main room Very limited choice of local restaurants Car park charges
Review 41:Large room 24 hour reception Quiet Well equipped Free easy parking on street
Review 42:Not easy to reach by even by car. Our gps was essential in findingthe hotel.
Review 43:1)Their laundry room which we greatly appreciated after a few weeks on the road. 2) While it has no restaurant it is located within walking distance from a budget-friendly hotel with a decent buffet. 3) Well-priced.
Review 44:We decided to stay in Montpellier on our way to our barging holiday in Argens. The hotel was not like the pictures on the website. It was run down - the carpets were very dirty and needed to be replaced. The outside canopy was dirty and very delapidated. The breakfast was the usual continental but was not displayed well - everything was squashed up under a plastic cover - not very apetising. Would definitely not recommend. There were no good restaurants within walking distance. We ate at a garage cafe which was disgusting! We were very disappointed.
Review 45:On our way back from our barging trip we stayed in Montpellier at Park & Suites Elegance Montpellier Millenaire - the best - excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Review 46:noisy fridge (impossible to switch it off); cooking facilities in the room but closed (not even a glass available); fire alert at 5 a.m. I was on the 3rd floor and took the stairs to walk down to the desk. The guy told me there was no fire but didn't apologize.
Review 47:Rooms spacy, choice between air-cooler and open windows, good bedding.
Review 48:Nothing to say
Review 49:The hotel is very clean and the room are comfortable compare with the price range and others hotels where we have been stayed on our trip. 3 mins walk to a big food store. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel and recommand you if you are driving..
Review 50:Did not have a kettle in the apartment. Horrible carpet in the room. Balcony tiles were dirty. Shower in bath did not work well. Very cramped space. Not a great area.
Review 51:Staff were friendly and helpful.
Review 52:We stayed here for one night. The rooms are basic. Coffee and teaamenities locked behind padlock in room? Fire alarms activated due toflooding from burst pipes? We left room when alarms were going off, nostaff informed us of what was happening. 45 mins for fire engines andpolice to arrive. We appreciate that this is out of their control, butmanagement or staff did not inform any guests of what was happening.10.30Pm at night and wondering if it was safe to stay or go?? Sleeplessnight.. Staff or management need to respect and keep guests I formedwhen a matter like this arises.
Review 53:Didn't find anything to complain about.
Review 54:Good room facilities. Staff were helpful and, while it is a fair way from the city centre, the local transport was excellent and very convenient.
Review 55:Wasn't the cleanest hotel room i've stayed in. The second daythere was no hot water so we had to shower in cold water. Hotel wasfarther from the city center than it looked on the map
Review 56:The price wasn't too bad.
Review 57:Cleanliness was at sufficient standards. For hosting the cradle we hadto move the sofa: it was very dirty under it.
Review 58:Very nice hotel. Good rate price/quality. Beautiful room andoutstanding breakfast. The garage is wide and suitable for suv: onlyfive euros a day. The receptionist was nice and effective.
Review 59:I arrived very late-after midnight with a small pet, but the guy on the reception was very friendly and welcoming -ofered me a coffee, showed me around and even asked if my dog need something to eat !!! :) The room was OK. (had one double bed) Nothing special, but fairly comfortable and clean. The bed has a proper duvet-not a cheap "hotel blanket" thing.. quite comfortable so sleep on - did not have any back aches in the morning.. :) Breakfast- simple. Some scrumbled eggs (made out of egg powder),sausages,pastries,yogourts,jams,cereals,etc.... fair enough
Review 60:The room was not very clean and was very tatty. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable as the springs could be felt through the thin mattress. The breakfast often would not be replenished for the people breakfasting towards the end of the session. There was only one high chair. Staff were not professional arguing in front of guests.
Review 61:The kitchen in our room is locked and the tiled floor are very dusty. We arrived late night, so there is plenty of time for thehousekeeping to clean our room. We presume most of the rooms herewere not cleaned daily.
Review 62:The facilities are tastefully designed which include an outdoor seatingwith Canopy.
Review 63:Dirty room Very uncomfortable beds Broken outside door which was a security risk. When the manager came to look he agreed that it had been broken into before but could not change rooms. Breakfast was very bad, Ni selection and nostaff. Don't go here unless you like dirty rooms, power cuts, unsecured rooms etc Bad, bad, bad spend an extra 10 euros and go to novotel
Review 64:Internet
Review 65:We had booked a suite for 4 people but when we arrived it had been let to someone else. We were then offered two separate double rooms, but in completely different areas, which was not ideal with children. Then one of those rooms was also occupied, so we're given one room in completely different building to the other. Fortunately we were only staying there for one night.
Review 66:Good breakfast, large selection.
Review 67:Well, the room was not clean and we had a lot of bugs (insects) in theroom, and with this I do not mean the occasional mosquito or spider ...it was disgusting. We already arrived late so no use in complaining orlooking for another hotel. The room should be equipped with enough spacefor 3 people, we had a 2 persons bed and a sofa bed which was alreadyfalling apart, so we took our 3 year old in our bed after squashing someof those insects.Morning breakfast was okay, I think. Didn't touch anything besides some croissants to be honest (thinking about those bugs). Staff was not really friendly, they were walking around like "potato sacks". Was glad when I was back in my car on my way to Spain. We used this hotel as a stop on our way to Spain and had it normally booked as well as a stop on our way back to Belgium, but the first thing I did when I arrived in Spain was cancel this hotel and book another. Never ever again ...
Review 68:Not much to be honest ....
Review 69:room very ,very dirty also the hotel. The bathroom had not been cleaned for years. The sign of non smoking was there for nothing ,because the room smelled so bad .Breakfast was poor and the place was dirty .
Review 70:The renovations were nice, but unfortunately, the cleaning of the floorwas dreadful. The hallways were smelly and very old, making the insideof the hotel look run-down. When I brought up the fact the floors werereally dirty and I had children that played on the floor, the lady atthe desk said there was nothhing she could do, the florr was incrusted.I asked to have a bucket to clean the floors myself, as the kids wereplaying there. She gave me the bucket and mop and after an hour ofcleaning, the bucket was black, after a second wash and the floor was nolonger "incrusted" with dirt. There were still some spots, but it was100% better. It looked totlly different!
Review 71:It was close to the tram and within proximity to the historicalcity by Tram.
Review 72:It is too far away from the station of TRAM by 20min. It is also hard to find the location. And the price is not cheaper than the others in downtown.
Review 73:The room is quite large and clean. There is house cleaning everyday.
Review 74:The staff was very rude and unhelpful. Requests were not met and nobody was willing to accept responsibility for mistakes or oversights, or to apologise for such. Simple requests for information were met with annoyance, requests for something to be done in the room were ignored.
Review 75:Room was a good size, the garden was nice to have.
Review 76:The first room we entered was full of cigarette smoke. It seems that inthis hotel smoking is allowed all over the place. We asked for anotherone with twin beds. The second room (nr.2 - ground floor) it smells nice(we then realised that the scent was fresh sprayed 2 secs before ourentry in the room.. ) Then the bathroom was epic! It smells like urineso much as I thought I will get ill instantly. I tryed to change theroom but the personell was missing in action. The shower sprayed waterall over the bathroom but not at all vertically (calcify).PS: The shower is fixed in the wall, leaking all over and no shower cabin, the shower flows directly on the floor. Not advisable!
Review 77:The garden looks really nice, it had a nice gazebo.
Review 78:We had untold difficulties in actually finding the Hotel. We rang the Hotel on 3 seperate occassions seeking directions to be given little help, and indeed we were given false instructions on 1 such call. The police eventually told us how to find the place which is behind a large supermarket.
Review 79:The hotel is very difficult to reach, although internet is offered duringbooking ,it was not available, reception staff was so uhgery &uncooperative,
Review 80:The breakfast was nice
Review 81:they say on booking.com that it is 3km from the center while in the reality it is 7km or more
Review 82:nothing at all!, the personel was so lazy and not firendly at all
Review 83:We assumed we would be getting a room with kitchenete facilities because the Villa Bellagio site mentions this type of room is available. However, upon arrival we noted that the kitchenete portion of the room was closed and locked. When we requested that it be opened we were informed that reservations made through booking.com didn't include the kitchenete. Upon returning to our room the next day we were startled to find the bed unmade and the room wasn't cleaned. Upon inquiry we were informed of a fact that I had unfortunately not noted on Villa Bellagio's page at booking.com: "...Daily cleaning is not included and on departure the kitchen must be cleaned." The receptionist made a concession and our beds were made and a quick cleaning was done daily. ."...the kitchen must be cleaned." What kitchen!??! We left earlier than planned and the prepaid unused portion of the reservation was only returned with booking.com's intervention. All in all, a rather disappointing stay!
Review 84:Well stocked Casino supermarket and restaurant 1/2 block away was extremely convenient. Also nearby (five minute walk) to the tram.
Review 85:The whole experience. Would not recommend
Review 86:Absolument rien a reprocher! C'est top!
Review 87:Très contente de l'avoir choisit!
Review 88:It was noisy. Inside (a fridge) and outside (noise from the road). 2 stars hotel, not 3...
Review 89:The terrace in the garden in the morning.
Review 90:The shower was awkward to use, but that may just be a feature of my room.
Review 91:Everything was very straight forward.
Review 92:the rain
Review 93:Location mainly and close to tram, also quiet area of city
Review 94:Impersonal feel to the hotel
Review 95:Comfortable bed
Review 96:Shabby rooms, Unfriendly staff, Very run down area nothing to do or eat.
Review 97:Large bed, fridge, good size bedroom,
Review 98:Noisy AC, noisy room
Review 99:The room floor was very dirty
Review 100:Dog friendly
Review 101:Nowhere to obtain food and drink except breakfast.
Review 102:25 mins from montpellier airport, clean basic hotel.
Review 103:good value for money.clean and comfort room
Review 104:15 minute walk to tram station and then direct in to centre of Montpellier. Hotel in a quiet location with plenty of parking. Breakfast nice.
Review 105:none
Review 106:We had booked room for three people, the manager was very nice so that my son had his own rrom, and we could have some privacy
Review 107:Difficult to find.
Review 108:Location was fine; once we found out the Tram was 1 Km away! Breakfast was very good.
Review 109:Room not particularly clean
Review 110:OK location for day trips with a car, fairly spacious family room
Review 111:Pictures posted are mis-leading. No fixed shower head. Needsmaintenance.
Review 112:The elevator.
Review 113:It's very far from the city centre, good thing there is a supermarket nearby. Nearest public transport is a 20 min walk
Review 114:The price is reasonable
Review 115:Far away from the centre of the town
Review 116:Clean, good services, silence, not so expensive
Review 117:Very good value. Excellent breakfast included in daily rate. Free Internet and free parking. Spacious room. Highly recommended.
