Reviews for Premier Inn Bolton - Stadium
Review 1:The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were really clean and more importantly the children really enjoyed their stay at the premier inn Bolton. Also the location of the hotel is Suberb- everything you could need was within easy reach!
Review 2:just a bit tight around the bed not very much space but Ok for a short stay 2 - 3 nights
Review 3:Great bed, firm but comfortable /plenty of room in the shower so lovely to have mirror, spare socket and light all in 1 place . No extension leads required!!
Review 4:Neighbours were shouting away midnight. All I got was they were drunk. It spoilt my evening. Plus the door that connects from the room I had which was 225 the next door person kept trying to open from their side. That is not on
Review 5:Friendly staff and very good location.
Review 6:Nothing really to complain about only as a mother with 2 young kids at breakfast time there was a long que from 7am. But maybe thats no big deal just though a bit of priority to young kids would be good :)
Review 7:Was all over good :)
Review 8:We were meeting a coach to travel to Southampton. Not enough room in car park for coach to park safely. Had to cross car park with traffic coming through to get to coach.
Review 9:Check in staff quick Large number at breakfast but staff coped very well. comfortable bed good hot food
Review 10:none
Review 11:All the staff looked genuinely pleased to be looking after us, nothing too much trouble and the whole place was spotless. Super breakfast and very good value!!
Review 12:Having experienced Premier Inns it angers me to think how ripped off I've been by the competitors! There is just nothing not to like about Premier Inns.
Review 13:Outstanding value for money. Have recently stayed in hotels over double the price of this, but Premier Inn beat them all hands down in every respect. Exceptionally comfy beds, fantastic breakfast, pleasant rooms, staff that care and a very quiet night's sleep - perfect formula.
Review 14:We were very happy .
Review 15:We arrived quite early in the morning, and to our surprise we had access to our room and we were greeted very well at the front desk.
Review 16:The noise from the pub over the other side of the car park on the Saturday night was a bit unfortunate. But wasn't sleeping much anyway as was getting up early on the Sunday.
Review 17:Stayed here as a great location for anyone doing the Ironman UK. Right next to Macron Stadium and T2. Staff were absolutely fantastic and so friendly can't praise them enough.. Bikes allowed in room and breakfast at 3am on race day if you can stomach it.
Review 18:Staff felt they should change our without even asking us. Next to reception. Never slept told receptionist but not interested. Children running up and down corridor which wasn't believed. Never again. As we visit family very regularly would not use again and other family members also told not to use.
Review 19:Nothing
Review 20:a bit pricey through booking.com but that was probably the location. shame as I'd like to go there again but couldn't afford it if it wasn't for work.
Review 21:Lovely room, ace location for my work. Friendly staff, good food, comfy bed
Review 22:Nothing bad to report would use this hotel again
Review 23:The hotel was near the trains. As I walked in I was met by a very pleasant receptionist who gave me a good overview of the facilities, breakfast times etc. Speaking of breakfast pleanty of choice and friendly service. Sorry forgot to mention my great nights sleep in a very very comfortable bed.
Review 24:Comfortable bed, clean room and public areas, friendly helpful staff, reasonable breakfast. Close to Bolton arena, retail park and selection of restaurants eg. Nandos, Frankie & Bennys. Short drive into Bolton centre.
Review 25:Bedroom very small, just enough room to walk around the beds. Floor of bedroom dirty with grass/hay & a brown stain near connecting door (hate to think what that was) In checking in staff tried to overcharge me, luckily I had a print out of my booking. Asked for a hot chocolate instead of tea/coffee at breakfast but told they dont do that. Breakfast very basic, no cheeses or cold hams etc.
Review 26:Comfortable bed, clean bathroom
Review 27:The free Wi-fi was not secure but if you pay £5 for the day.
Review 28:everything else was brilliant breakfast - brilliant room and staff wre excellent, friendly and could not do enough for you. will definately stay again!! X
Review 29:Morning staff very rude
Review 30:This was an overnight stay to catch a coach to Southampton for my 40th birthday cruise. We where kept up most of the nightly drunken idiots who have no respect for others. Reported it to a name next morning didn't even apologise and said I cannot be right as they go around all night. Aloud of rubbish we didn't get say sleep
Review 31:WiFi could have been stronger. None to subtle hints to pay for the 'premium' wifi service
Review 32:Attentive and friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast.
Review 33:Loud and pot smoking losers in some of the other rooms wrecking every attempt to get a good and much needed night of sleep.
Review 34:Friendly staff trying their best.
Review 35:The staff were excellent, helpful and professional.Ideally located next to the Bolton Arena and football stadium with a massive retail centre within 5 minutes walk.
Review 36:Along with most of the oother guests getting locked out of our room on the second afternnon and having to wait over half an hour to get it cleared.
Review 37:The proximity to the Macron Stadium. The adjoining facilites
Review 38:No hairdryer and limited WiFi.
Review 39:This stay was a business trip,we were exhibiting at a wedding fair. There were three of us booked in but I hadn't read the booking form properly, the room was for two adults and two children and the room was only meant for two adults at the most?. I didn't think three women sharing this room was a problem as the sofa is the size of a single bed. However Simon and Adele were very helpful and seeing us upset that one of us would have to leave they let us share the room and we paid for an extra breakfast.
Review 40:All the staff I spoke to were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and professional. The Continental breakfast selection (Yeo Valley yogs, fresh fruit, Costa coffee) was easily the best I've had when staying in hotels in the UK and ensured my day got off to a great start.
Review 41:Rooms do not have air conditioning. This is a problem for south facing rooms as there is some road noise with window open.
Review 42:Comfortable room, nice breakfast.
Review 43:Curtain pole kept falling down Asked staff who called to my room 3 or 4 times to do cleaning if I could have iron. Asked night staff for glass of milk as I had a littlw indigestion... they couldn't provide it... So basic...
Review 44:Wifi and bed
Review 45:No bar in hotel. Tea making facilities in room, but had to call to reception after one cup of tea each, only 2 tea bags and 2 sachets of sugar left in room. No telephone in room to ring reception so we had to go down 2 floors to reception each time.
Review 46:Lovely hotel, close to shopping centre, staff friendly and helpful.
Review 47:Convience to the M61. Excellent standards in all areas. Comfortable bed and lovely pillows. Step in shower and unique bathroom/toilet design. Friendly, helpful, polite staff
Review 48:Booked online 1 adult and 2 children upstairs. Upon arrival I was told my room was for 1 adult and upstairs. I had taken a print out of my booking. Didn't get much of an apology.
Review 49:Location for my purpose of visit.
Review 50:I intended to pay by cash on my visit but was unable as I didn't have a driving license with me as proof of id (bank card not acceptable) so I had to pay with my card. It should be clearly stated that if you want to pay cash you need to take a specific proof of id.
Review 51:great location for the stadium and the station. Nice and friendly staff.
Review 52:Would liked to have had extra coffee in our room, at least one for arrival and one for morning.
Review 53:I liked the fact that the staff went that extra mile to be friendly and everyone in a Premier uniform was wearing a smile on their face.
Review 54:was asked for £5 to park because football was on, could not use the harvester or the other pub, doormen on the door refusing entry, even though we had travelled 400 mile round trip, were made to feel like football hooligans
Review 55:room was very nice, clean comfortable, staff very friendly
Review 56:The floor in the room was really creaky no matter were you walked it creaked on leaving we mentioned it to the staff and they gave there apologies and they would look in to it
Review 57:The way the room was spotless and the bed being really comfortable also the buffet style breakfast
Review 58:I have never been met with such a friendly staff as I was when I arrived at this hotel. And everyone I met after thatwere just as friendly and helpful.
Review 59:Would prefer a small bottle of water for each guest in addition to the tea and coffee making facilities. Next hotel/room upgrade to include a small fridge in each room - as we prefer to bring our own fresh milk and thus need somewhere to keep it cool.
Review 60:Friendly, helpful staff
Review 61:walls are paper thin so if you have noisy neighbours your night is just ruined. Kept awake until 4am but people next door. Swearing, screaming, slamming doors. Went to reception 3 times in night and they gave them a warning but didn't kick them out. The man checked in at 10pm and was drunk so why let him stay? He was talking about cutting people up and being owed money. We heard ever word and the arguing with his partner. Awful, awful night. Got refund but I didn't want a free night. I wanted a nights' sleep !
Review 62:Beds so comfy, spotlessly clean, fantastic breakfast, great location
Review 63:third night really bad, wanted early night because of early flight, young children running around shouting on all floors till 9'30 not happy , supposed to be a quiet hotel
Review 64:first two nights really quiet
Review 65:Amazing bed! Massive pillows and the comfiest mattress ever! Lots of light in the room, perfect for make up applying :) Warm & friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Plenty of car parking space. Excellent location next to the Macron stadium.
Review 66:that it was only 1 min away from train station and 2 mins away from the football ground ,also was only 4 mins away from excelant retail park. beds were comfy.
Review 67:Premiere Inn makes a marketing 'thing' about solo women travellers feeling safe. Then reception staff put me in a room with an interconnecting door with a damaged lock. And don't move me, even when reported. And check someone in next door.
Review 68:Choice at breakfast
Review 69:A warm night meant leaving the window open - or as open as it will go. That means noise. Sirens, returning revellers, traffic.
Review 70:New, clean, efficient. Good size rooms and bathroom. Everything you would expect from a chain lodge.
Review 71:Room was quite cold even with their heater. Needed a supplemental heaters. I am normally quite heat intolerant too!
Review 72:Location near the macron stadium Good quiet room. Had a good sleep. Staff service very good. Allowed early check in and also brought up an extra radiator because it was too cold in my room despite the heating
Review 73:They put us (a young family with 2 children under 5 and a 8 months pregnant mother) next to a number of rooms with very noisy young sports players. They marched through the halls shouting and banging on doors persistently. My husband had a word but it continued until late. Better placing of guests would of greatly improved our experience! It was meant to be a quiet corridor. Night staff should have patrolled the halls. You also don't provide any non dairy in the restaurant, our daughter in dairy sensitive.
Review 74:Nice beds, clean room, friendly staff.
Review 75:Was very cold inside the room. The heater never warmed up even though I set it to go to its highest.
Review 76:Breakfast was really nice. Staff were super friendly. Room was really nice.
Review 77:Location was ideal, connection to motorway was perfect, eat what you like breakfast was a bargin and the staff were great. After a 5 hour journey from London with 2 small kids under 4 it was a relief to arrive. Greeted by Simon he was funny, welcoming and the check-in process was quick and efficient.
Review 78:Could not use the bar facility's in and around the premier inn as football was on and it was for home fans only.very noisy in the early hours from these bars aswell.
Review 79:Nice and clean
Review 80:Noise from the wedding party in the early hours of the morning. This though was dealt with by the staff promptly.
Review 81:The service and a good quality English breakfast.
Review 82:Nothing to mention
Review 83:Everything about this hotel from the staff to the beds is excellent. One of the most comfortable sleeps I have in any of the hotels I've stayed in. Not a bad word to say about this place. I'd also like to say thank you to the cleaning staff who never get a mention, the rooms are spotless!
Review 84:I had a feeling the price was raised for the game. At that sort of price one would expect free Wi-Fi. It's free abroad I don't see why they can't do it too.
Review 85:This is the sixth time we have stayed here. It is ideal for the football ground and shops, and easy to get to. We won 2-1.
Review 86:We were woken up at 2am by what we were told were a wedding party. Young lads effing and blinding which is not the hotels fault. Somebody did come up to tell them to keep it down but because of the disturbance we were given our money back with no hassle. Amazing!!
Review 87:We stayed in the hotel whilst at a football match. Fab!! The staff were so friendly.. It was my partners birthday and they put banners and balloons everywhere and we even got a cake! Excellent service.
Review 88:Allan; what a nice chap, always smiling, chatty and his customer service is second to none. There is nothing that is too much bother for him. I have to add that the rest of the staff are also excellent. As for this hotel, the beds are so comfy, the place is spotless. No faults at all 10/10 premier Inn
Review 89:Our room seemed to be located alongside a bus route which kept waking me up old of been nice to have been warned
Review 90:Reception staff friendly and welcoming. Clean and tidy rooms Excellent breakfast menu
Review 91:I cannot fault this hotel for its friendly and efficient staff, cleanliness and the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in - even beats some 5 star rated hotels. seven of us stayed at this hotel for one night and all had excellent feedback to give - my children included.
Review 92:Restaurant too small to cope on morning after race. Long queues - 20 minute wait
Review 93:Staff very friendly and helpful Room well appointed and clean Breakfast included indeal excellent Plenty of free parking Hotel accessible during race - other local hotels not reachable due to road closures Harvester on site excellent for dinner and quality of service
Review 94:No air conditioning.
Review 95:The breakfast room and breakfast itself. Quieter than expected. Staff excellent - printed out our route to the party which we were very grateful for.
Review 96:Bad ventilation of room, leaving bad air in room. Creating headache in the morning.
Review 97:Location perfect for the ironman event. Bed was good. Breakfast simple.
