Review 1：The room is quite basic. No drinking water in the room, but you can borrow kettle to boil water

Review 5：The staff was very friendly and helpful, we could ask "everything". The 2+1 room was not very big, but we had enough place. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The breakfast was perfect, there was no a very big variety of food, but the quality was excellent and the atmosphere was very familiar. There is a subterranean garage (for extra-cost). The tramway and the supermarket is only 5 minutes walk. The Old City Center is very near by walk, but also the sea is about 30-40 minutes by 2 tramway and one bus.

Review 6：- they forgot to build the roof to access 3rd floor from the side they indicated to pass from - elevator outside? - breakfast was good, you have to pay it extra though - shower was broken, we needed to change the room, in the second one aircon was broken (heating mode)

Only a small recessed area in the wall behind a small curtain with a few hangers and two high shelves, one we couldn't reach. We had to keep both suitcases on a spare bed in the room with most of our clothes in. No laundry service which was a disappointment.

Review 33：While the hotel seemed very clean, our room had a strange, (attempted) deodorized smell to it. After lying in the bed for a while, we (unfortunately) concluded that someone must have wet the bed. The sheets were clean, but there was a strong odor coming up thru them. Location was out of the true town center - not as convenient as reviews stated. Hotel owner and staff were great. Maybe we just had bad luck with our room. I'd try to get closer to the center of the old town if I went back to Montpellier again.

Review 88：A ten minutes walk to Place de la Comédie, 5 minutes later you are in the old city. We had never the feeling, even late in the evening, that the walk or the town is unsafe, there were people everywhere, and nobody had bad intentions.

Review 102：When we first arrived we were put off by the external appearance. It is in a residential backstreet is a little out of place. Although it is as stated a short walk from the city centre, the short walk is through dark back streets and a tunnel. Once you arrive at the "city centre" you have to climb up a lot of stairs and walk the same distance again to get the the main square. Montpellier is the worst city I have ever encountered for aggressive begging by organised groups of children and adults who, if you are sitting at a café in the main square, will harass you for 20 minutes until you give them money or leave. I worked in Montpellier 30 years ago and found it a pleasant city. I will never return.

Review 116：Very slow in correcting a mistake on the bill. They overcharged me for an extra breakfast on each of the two nights (€26 in total). I missed it when checking out but called them the following day. I was told they were busy (it was check-out time) and would call back. They didn't. I called the following day and was told it was a busy week, so they would call back the following Monday. They didn't. I called the day after that, and was again put on hold while other matters were dealt with. Eventually the refund was agreed and I gave my card number to be credited. Even then, they wouldn't promise to put through the refund that day. There was no sense of urgency in correcting their mistake (which, to my mind, goes to the heart of trust between any business and its customers). Nor was there any apology. At the time of writing this review, I still haven't received confirmation of the refund.

Review 117：The hotel was modern, clean, well-located and the staff were helpful and pleasant (other than the manager - hence the "poor" rating"). However they spoiled all that by messing up the bill.
