Reviews for Park & Suites Elégance Montpellier

Review 1:Quiet although near busy road, very comfortable, nice staff. Good for access to road network and parking. Need a tram ride into the city, which I like so not a problem.

Review 2:A small smell of mold in room 416. Tiny room, only one towel even though double was ordered. One plastic cup in the bathroom. They charged silly 1€ for the Internet.

Review 3:Locked underground parking is a big plus. 9€ charge.

Review 4:requested extra pillows - never got them, over priced breakfast, needed more kitchen utensils

Review 5:helpful, friendly reception staff - there 24/7, quiet. A/C room, good location

Review 6:Breakfast was a disaster. Sunday morning wakened by 2 idling coaches waiting to collect their passengers. Went down to breakfast and there's nothing left to eat and nowhere to sit - all tables are covered in dirty dishes. Went away and returned 45 minutes later - tables still not cleared or reset. It appears that the hotel accepts coach parties but doesn't plan very well to deal with them. Location is a bit out of the way and there's nothing around there to see our do. Asking me to clean my dishes but not providing dish soap or a towel to dry them isn't good either.

Review 7:Good size room and comfortable bed.

Review 8:The gym was poorly maintained and almost all the machines did not work. The air conditioning in the room broke down the second day. There were no extra pillows or blankets in the room.

Review 9:Having a kitchen in the room was very convenient.

Review 10:Had a room clean and found hairs all over my bed! Changed room again more hairs. when showing photo's indicated i lied. when asking for a full refund to compensate having to go somewhere else totally denied.

Review 11:Price of soda drinks is double if you buy them from the bar instead of the vending machine just outside. Very expensive coffee.

Review 12:Overall very satisfied with the room. Everything was new inside. Bus stop to go to the center very close. Supermarket very close.

Review 13:We were only here for a stop over in between journeys, it was good for the money paid, the room was very clean, and it was nice to have a bath as well as a shower. The reception and restaurant staff were lovely and very helpful.

Review 14:For all its latest and newest, one needs instructions for the shower.

Review 15:All was lovely and parking was better than expected though there on a Sunday night.

Review 16:Stuff was really unwelcome and rude! First time in my life I've met such an unfriendly service! Two women on the reseption didn't want to bother and give us a baby cot, although we asked for it in advance. We waited for an hour and only after our second request they just throw it near the door! Never again will I stay in this hotel no metter what room they offer.

Review 17:The room was nice, but not clean enough.

Review 18:Not in city center

Review 19:Value for money

Review 20:Toilett and shower should be in the same room :).

Review 21:Fresh hotel. Good personel.

Review 22:Rather a long way out of Montpellier.

Review 23:The room was clean and sufficiently equipped . Good value for money.

Review 24:Room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and comfort.

Review 25:Great location if you are with a car to explore the city as well as the surroundings.

Review 26:Nothing

Review 27:It wa great experience

Review 28:Bathrooms were smelling of cigarette smoke

Review 29:Value for money and staff

Review 30:The kitchen could have used a few extra tools, eg. chopping board Towels were not replaced during stay (room cleaning service costs extra)

Review 31:Pillows should be better. Not enough towels, toilet rolls provided.

Review 32:- A little bit too much noise in the room (air heater and water heater)

Review 33:+ Low price + Clean + Staff helpful

Review 34:Room so small Staff not so good No conditionad air, no extra pillow Noclearing Far from tramway station

Review 35:Near by Carrefour and McDonalds

Review 36:The price! On our way back to the Costa Blanca. Perfect for a stopover.

Review 37:Not enough kitchen utensils or pillows

Review 38:Quiet good transport connections Close to supermarket

Review 39:The location was a bit far from the city center, as expected. However, the tram was about a 15 minute walk and a convenient commute.

Review 40:I loved how bright and airy the room was. The hotel was quite nice overall and the staff very friendly.

Review 41:The hotel is about 45 minute walk from the historical core of Montpellier and public transit stops around 8:30 PM (afterwards you can take a taxi, which will cost around 10 euros). The area that the hotel is in is not the most inspiring.

Review 42:Unpretentious, clean, hotel. My room must have been one of the smaller ones and it still had everything that you would need to work, cook simple meals and sleep comfortably. There is also a supermarket nearby to get your groceries. There is a bus stop close to the entrance of the hotel (but see note on public transit).

Review 43:It was a pitty that the restaurant was closed for diner in the weekend. People who want to enjoy the full 3 star rating should take the suite and not the studio. The sleeping room of the studio is really small and not nice to sit down with 2 people for an evening.

Review 44:No problem to arrive late. Nice breakfast. My room had a small kitchen. that's nice when you have to stay there for business for a week or longer.

Review 45:The air-conditioning unit was only capable of heating the room, the temperature was only manageable by opening the window. The room was becoming shabby and the carpets in the passageways were dirty, a refurb is really needed.

Review 46:The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable. Breakfast was good value. Closed parking was a benefit at no extra cost.

Review 47:Not much. No English language TV.

Review 48:A good apartment hotel, with a kitchen and en suite in a suburb with good bus services, about 10 minutes by bus from centre. Staff was helpful and spoke english willingly. Room was modern and reasonably spacious. WIFI was good. There was a supermarket 5 minutes away.

Review 49:The rooms are quite small and have their own boiler which makes them too warm. This would have been ok if the air-con worked which it didn't. Their also was only enough hot water for one shower in the morning. You are also on a main round about, if you want a good nights sleep do not book this hotel very noisy. Also the curtains were thin sheets letting all the light in. The shower leaked soaking our towels, we left a maid service please sign on our door and nobody came. I then had to negotiate clean dry towels from reception.

Review 50:The restaurant next door is really good. Ok location for Sabines tram stop. There is a Carreforre and a MacDonalds near by. All cooking equipment provided in the small kitchen area.

Review 51:Shower was rather small and had a short screen so the bathroom floor got flooded every time one would use the shower. That's about it, the rest was fine

Review 52:Location is great if you come for Montpellier home rugby matches like we did because the hotel is just down the road from the stadium. Nice beds, wifi and a kitchennete (not really for cooking), and a great breakfast.

Review 53:A bit far from the city centre, had to pay like 20 euros to the taxi. I would rather recommend if you have a car

Review 54:Staff was really warm and the room was great, very clean and had a big space that keeps you comfortable.

Review 55:The advertised gym wasn't really of any use. To get to the city center it's quite a long trip by tram and about a 15min walk to the tram station.

Review 56:We had a very nice, large room to stay. Free parking right in front of the hotel as well, there's a garage for 8€ per night, but we hadn't made use of that as our car was parked right next to the main entrance. Hotel is only ~5min from the A9 autoroute.

Review 57:The airconditioning was broken and all we had was a small fan, it was 28degrees. When we asked why they could not fix it we were told that therepair man does not return to work till Monday. This was Saturday night,11.30pm after travelling 3 hours!!!!Also the beds were terribly hard, and because it was so hot it was very uncomfortable. Also, each bed only had a blanket and no sheet so that there was nothing in between, no top sheet. There was only 2 towels int he bathroom for a room for 4 and there were 3 of us. Relating to Booking.com we clicked that we wanted a booking with breakfast included which we clicked but once the booking was completed and we arrived the hotel told us that breakfast wasn't included and that we would have to pay. This was before we went up to our room to then find out the air-conditioning was not working. Once we complained about that they offered us free breakfast. The room was on a noisy roundabout.

Review 58:Size of the room was good.Breakfast was ok

Review 59:&Quot;Wi-Fi" service turned out to be not so wireless, a severedrawback to our family of iPads and phones. Reserved a room for 5 aslisted on web but when arrived there was not enough room nor a roll awaynor even even extra blankets or pillows. Ac did not work and room wasvery not. The hotel lounge area where the wifi was was closed for a longtime due to being used for a conference. Bugs in bathroom.

Review 60:Kitchenette

Review 61:Room service not on daily basis Poor wifi access There should be a mirror in the bedroom

Review 62:The staff were very helpful, friendly, available even late at night, fluent in English

Review 63:Restaurant closed Saturdays and SundaysNo pool No wifi in rooms

Review 64:Friendly and cry helpful staff.Close to bus and tram stops Nice restaurant

Review 65:Nothing wrong with the hotel, only that our rugby team lost toMontpellier in an afternoon long rainstorm

Review 66:The best part was the on-site restaurant where our party thoroughlyenjoyed a good quality meal with excellent & helpful service

Review 67:Did not have our reservation through booking.com, but were able to getus a suite! A little far from city centre.

Review 68:Huge room, great facilities, WiFi, great staff.

Review 69:Very noisy all night as directly on a major roundabout - if you can't specify a rear facing room then don't bother. Room was also quite small.

Review 70:Close to centre of City with good vehicle/ tram access

Review 71:The steam room and gym aren't really useable and extremely poor. The gymconsist of three machines.I booked a wheel chair for my mother only to find that there was not this service and this made our trip difficult They advertise wifi but omitt to tell you that you need a laptop in your room Very misleading

Review 72:The addition of the kitchenetteYou will need to catch a bus to Montpelier if you do not drive and taxis are expensive 20 Euros

Review 73:The receptionist could not have been more rude if she tried, the hotel was showing signs of heavy use. The air con did not work and could not be bothered to discuss it with the receptionist so just suffered for the one night and moved on. It is situated on a busy roundabout so plent of traffic noise however if you are there for one night like us it is not bad value, definately no more than a stop over hotel

Review 74:Only the breakfast was good

Review 75:They seemed to be very disorganised. We requested a baby cot whenbooking, but when we arrived they had not yet organised it. Afterrequesting it two times, it finally arrived but when my daughterwouldn't sleep in it we realised they didn't put the proper mattress init, meaning she was sleeping on metal bars! The air conditioning wasn'tworking in our room and again we had to ask several times to change to anew room. Very disruptive when you have a small child. Location-wise, itis a 5-10min walk to the tram which then takes 15mins to get into thecenter of town. Trams are very frequent. Restaurant food was average.

Review 76:Large room with basic kitchen facilities.

Review 77:There was constant traffic noise from roundabout if you left the window open. I actually like the traffic noise, but maybe not everyone does. Noise is considerably muted with windows closed (but then you need to turn on air conditioning).

Review 78:Small but very efficient room with all the necessities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good price/value. Located walking distance from tram line which made it very easy to get into city.

Review 79:Excellent base from which to visit the city that offered excellent value. Easy walk to tram for direct access to city centre - not worth taking the car!

Review 80:drains smell

Review 81:rumors from the street cars

Review 82:kitchen, good bedroom

Review 83:N/A

Review 84:Would highly recommend, staff very friendly and rooms very clean and spacious.

Review 85:Cleaning of the room at arrival Air condirioning Not well working Not cleaning all day of the room

Review 86:Location not great

Review 87:staff were very helpful

Review 88:Staff availability.

Review 89:Closeness to Rugby stadium. Kitchenette in Apartment. Parking on Site. Separate toilet.

Review 90:distance from city centre

Review 91:proximity of tram

Review 92:Clean, affordable if booked well in advance. Good service and it was very convenient to have a kitchenette in the .room.

Review 93:little bit noisy as we had room situated to roundabout

Review 94:worth for the price

Review 95:limited food options,unreliable wi-fi

Review 96:comfortable bed,friendly staff,free wifi[when its working]

Review 97:A bit of a trek out of town to get to it

Review 98:Big rooms

Review 99:The dishes were really dirty.

Review 100:The location. Is near the city but you need a car.

Review 101:parking un peu petit ou payant

Review 102:Close to the highway.

Review 103:Small room, not very comfortable, but very good value for the money

Review 104:Highly recommend, it is one of the best hotels I stayed. Great value formoney. You need car it is a little bit out of center.

Review 105:Booked double bedroom but was given twin room.
