Reviews for Les Ajoncs D'or
Review 1:Despite virtually empty hotel we were placed in a tiny room on second floor (no lift) which smelled stale. Evening meal was mediocre. Breakfast was dreadful. Whole area is a building site and no hotel parking. Very "tired" hotel.
Review 2:Opportunity to visit Pont Aven.
Review 3:Staff appeared rude at times. Carpets need to be replaced. Needs modernising.
Review 4:Great location for visiting Pont Aven. Slightly old fashioned hotel with scruffy reception and dim dining room. We didn't eat there but the menu seemed reasonable.
Review 5:no elevator , room at 2. Floor Small room, rough sisal carpet of uncertain age provideing full opportunity for years of dust and dirt to accumulate unseen.
Review 6:helpfull staff Perfectly situated for exploring Pont Aven
Review 7:Room was a bit small. Parking is a bit of a problem-you need to buy a 'blue badge' thing in order to park outside which allows 2 hours during the day. Night is not a problem.
Review 8:Madame was most helpful. beautiful spot with good walking along the estuary.
Review 9:No parking close to the hotel unless you have a disc, though it's a short walk to the harbor where there is free parking. No elevator, so be prepard to carry your bags upstairs.
Review 10:Comfortable room with a view of the street below in quaint Pont Aven. Surprisingly good restaraunt in the hotel is recommended. Breakfast was ample with lots of variety.
Review 11:Not much space in the room for luggage and bathroom very small.
Review 12:The staff. The restaurant. The location. The price for room was good. Pont Aven and surrounding areas are beautiful and accessible for walking/hiking/biking/driving. Good restaurants near the hotel. Reasonable drive from the Ferry at Roscoff.
Review 13:The room smells. I Don't know whether because of the toilet or the humidity. The bed sheet is in colour of deep green and with plush surface, so I can't judge that is really clean or not. Maybe because of the smell, I don't feel so comfortable in bed with my skin touching the bed sheets.
Review 14:In the center of the town, which is a nice one. Good restaurant in the hotel (people recommend but didn't try it ourselves). The stuff is nice, explain what I need to know.
Review 15:Old building - Not designed originally as a hotel, therefore soundproofing poor. Quiet until someone started moving about
Review 16:Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast
Review 17:The road outside was being dugup
Review 18:The staff were very kind , but sometimes they were away, and it was difficult to cathch them.
Review 19:Ideal location for the town and touring locally
Review 20:Very pleasant and convenient- good food

Review 30:No secure parking - we were en route home after two weeks holiday in France and it would have been impractical to unload the car. However all was well!
Review 31:Charming hotel slap bang in the middle of Pont Aven. Nice warm bedroom.
Review 32:right in the middle of town so very handy, could dry our motorbike gear on the rads, and had a good meal in the hotel restaurant tho there were plenty of other places open in town
Review 33:Good location in interesting area. The rooms were spacious and "French". We only ate in the restaurant once, food was good but service slow. We would stay here again.

Review 38:I loved my stay at les Adjonjes D'Or. The staff was very helpful and chatty. The room was very nice and I had a window to the main square. There are nice restaurants around and Pont-Aven is a marvellous place. There is also a German detective novel that is set in Pont-Aven and the hotel "Bretonische Verhältnisse". I will read it :)
